00:00Can you even look at the Colts in this spot here?
00:03I don't know that you can look at the Colts at all throughout the rest.
00:07Can you?
00:08I really don't know.
00:10They got the right team.
00:12They got the right team going against this week.
00:14That's definitely the correct team that you want to play.
00:18What's interesting today is I saw a report, well, not a report,
00:22but an interview today from Pro Football Talk that Phil Simms was on there
00:30saying that he thought that Jonathan Taylor may get traded,
00:36may or may not get traded.
00:37No one really knows.
00:38And the Colts are saying no.
00:39They should say no until they have to say yes.
00:40Colts should absolutely just keep saying no because it makes it look like they
00:44want more, which is the right thing to do.
00:45This is what you do.
00:46You play that.
00:47He was saying that he thinks that the 49ers are going to get Jonathan Taylor.
00:52And they're going to have McCaffrey and Taylor.
00:54Yes, that's who he threw out there as a possibility
00:58and just creating this super backfield the rest of the season.
01:02And I was like, wow, that was really interesting.
01:06What I don't agree with this is that I would think that the Colts,
01:13if they're going to trade this player,
01:14there's just no way he should be playing Sunday.
01:16So my estimation is if he plays, he's staying in Indianapolis
01:20because you'd have to be out of your mind to be asking for a second-round pick
01:24or multiple second-round picks and risking that with a potential injury.
01:28So don't be surprised Sunday if you see an inactive Sunday morning
01:32with Jonathan Taylor.
01:33I'd be prepared to have some other options.
01:35Well, they're telling us, too.
01:37I mean, Brees Hall came out today and said for the Jets that he's ready to go,
01:41that he plans on playing here.
01:45But if he's up for trade, there is no way he is playing in this game, right?
01:50Like, I wouldn't bet the Jets based upon getting Brees Hall back,
01:54although it's a big number, 9.5, 10.
01:57But I wouldn't be shocked if he's all of a sudden a late scratch as well here.
02:03Anything is possible.
02:04At this point, if you're the Jets, what are you playing for here?
02:07You should be trading everything at this point.
02:10Well, I mean, what the Jets should be doing is if they have any interest
02:13in winning any games, it should be handing the ball to Braylon Allen 30 times.
02:16And what does this guy have to do to earn the starting job?
02:19I understand Hall got a contract extension, and I suppose that's part of it.
02:24And by the way, to Brees Hall's credit, he was one of the best running backs
02:28two years ago in the National Football League, not last year, but the year before.
02:31So I get it, and I understand it.
02:33But I think injuries may have caught up to him, man.
02:36He does not look as good as Braylon Allen does.
02:39So, you know, for me, I would just keep handing Braylon Allen the ball
02:44and being like, you know, when we see Brees Hall looking 100% healthy,
02:47that's when we will play him.
02:50But I'm with you.
02:51If they could trade Brees Hall and get a three back for him, I would do it.
