00:00This was as high as 10.
00:01I'm seeing nine and a half now.
00:03It might be the one team that I am not worried about laying double digits with here.
00:09Off a bye, at home, Bosa looks like he's going to be back.
00:14And Vegas, listen, Vegas throws the tight ends.
00:19If you take the tight ends away, who are they throwing the ball to?
00:23That's the problem because the 49ers are the number one defense against tight ends in the NFL.
00:30So something tells me it could be a long day for the Vegas Raiders.
00:34Yeah, I mean, Trey Tucker's had a really nice year for the Raiders,
00:37but a lot of it has been when they're down three touchdowns and when they're down two touchdowns.
00:42And so I don't know what Tucker's impact will be, say, in the first half of that game.
00:48McCaffrey limited practice today, so he says he's good to go and he says he feels great.
00:53We've heard this from McCaffrey before, so we'll have to wait all the way through Sunday to wait for that
00:57one.
00:58Evans seems iffy at best.
00:59He did not practice today.
01:02Debo Samuel did not practice today.
01:04So San Francisco's still with major issues at wide receiver.
01:07Everyone seems to think that in the next few days, four or five days, they acquire a wide receiver.
01:12That does make some sense.
01:13If any team does need a healthy wide receiver, it's definitely them.
01:17You know, for the Raiders, I do think they'll score some points in this game.
01:23It seems like they score points in every game, but the problem is that the last few weeks they've just
01:27been down so big
01:28and they've had to come back and score a bunch of points to win, except for, of course, against the
01:33Jets where they had that lead there.
01:34So I see an over maybe in this game, and Raiders are a dangerous team to get that back to
01:40our cover.
01:41But if San Francisco's defense plays well, and they generally do, and in fact, the 49ers generally don't give up
01:4730 points or more,
01:48you could see the possibility of this happening.
01:51The difference between this year and last year, Joe, it is night and day.
01:55Last year, this time of the year, the books were getting hammered through week 8, 9, 10, 11,
02:01and we were just waiting for the double-digit dogs to start fading.
02:05It never happened.
02:07The whole year, double-digit dogs was the best bet in the NFL.
02:11It was like a 70% clip last year.
02:13It was crazy.
02:14This year, complete opposite.
02:15I think 32% or 33%, somewhere along those lines.
02:19That means almost 70% of the big dogs are covering.
02:22That's generally the way it works in the NFL.
02:24So anytime I see a dog like that, my initial thought is to go with it.
02:30The scary part is the game like tonight, where the home team is getting 10.
02:35Like, at that point, you've got to think, wow, this is a really bad team playing.
02:38But I tend to like those road 9s and 10s.
02:42The home ones, though, scare me a little bit, because I'm just wondering, like, what makes a line that big?
02:50This is going to be – I think there are some treacherous games, to say the least, here, coming up
02:55in week 9 of the NFL.
02:57You've just got to tread carefully.
03:00What can we tell you?
03:01We tell you all the time, a lot of uncertainty right now.
03:04It feels like – and this is usually the kind of conversations we have, Craig, by week 16,
03:10because you've got all sorts of teams that have already packed it up and have moved on.
03:14But we've got teams in uncharted territory who are somewhat still in it,
03:19but playing with guys that they have never seen before and are handcuffed.
