00:19This is probably your season on the line in the early part of the year here.
00:24Yeah, I think it's your season for a few reasons.
00:26It's not just because you're 0-2 and that's got a track record of not doing so well
00:30when it comes to the playoffs, when it comes to the Super Bowl, things like that.
00:33But it's who you lost to and how you lost.
00:35They lost by the exact same score, which is an anomaly in and of itself, to Arizona and Vegas.
00:41Like, those are games you're supposed to win, but now you've got Buffalo.
00:44Then you go to Seattle, Denver, Kansas City, Rams, Texans, Ravens.
00:48Like, this doesn't get easier.
00:49If you're going to make any kind of noise, you have to win this week in catapult
00:53and use that momentum to move forward here.
00:56Because if you don't win this week, what's to stop this from being like a 2-5 situation?
01:02If this really goes sideways, you start to get heads to roll, things like that.
01:06I do think Justin Herbert is a franchise guy.
01:08I think Mike McDaniel's fine.
01:10I don't think he's 28 points against bad teams bad.
01:13But this team needs to turn around.
01:16Do I think they get it done against Buffalo?
01:18That feels like a crazy ass.
01:19But if Vlad McConkie's reasonably healthy, this defense can show us something.
01:23The Bills have holes in the secondary on the back end there.
01:28I think they can score.
01:29I'm just not sure they get enough stops.
01:32I want to go back to that Giants and Titans game.
01:35But this time on the other side, I want to talk about the Titans here.
01:38Kind of in a crossroads here for Cam Ward this year, right?
01:40They put a pretty good effort up this past week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
01:44But, I mean, we're now getting to the point now, right, where Tennessee's got to figure
01:49out what Brian Dable and what Robert Sala is going to do with Cam Ward.
01:53Do you believe that he's a starting quarterback in this league?
01:56And do you think he's the answer there in Tennessee?
01:59I think those are two different questions.
02:01Do I think he's one of the 32 best quarterbacks on planet Earth?
02:04I think there's a pretty good chance he is.
02:06Do I think he's the answer?
02:07It depends what question you're asking.
02:09If he's the answer that could get you to six wins, like maybe next year, maybe this year
02:15if he gets hot, maybe he can be that.
02:17Yeah, I've seen enough in the way of flashes to think he's not some scrub backup situation.
02:23But among active quarterbacks that were picked in the top 10 of the draft, he's second worst
02:27in passing yards per game through his first 19 starts.
02:31That's a wedge right between Bryce Young, who we were having these same talks about last
02:35season.
02:35He obviously looks great to open this year.
02:37And Zach Wilson, who I don't think anybody's signing up for in any capacity.
02:41So do I think he's the guy?
02:43I don't think we know for sure yet.
02:46But there's definitely been more negatives than positives.
02:48The only thing I can say is that they drafted Carnell Tate.
02:51So they're investing in the idea of Cam Ward.
02:54You have to give him more than a couple of weeks.
02:56They're going to give him this season.
02:58I need to see something by the end of 2026, not necessarily by the end of week three.
