00:11His first two weeks, and then talk a little bit about last night's game
00:15and against that Lions team.
00:16Yeah, he's the odds-on favorite to win the MVP right now at plus 350.
00:21And I would be, you know, 260 got on their board.
00:24I don't think there's a price that's too low for him right now.
00:27He's playing better than anybody in the world at the quarterback position
00:31and the execution all over the place.
00:33Like, we know what Josh Allen brings to the table,
00:35but this is something completely new.
00:37He's throwing the ball downfield with a little bit more precision.
00:40His ADOT, average depth of throw, up over 30% from where it stood a season ago.
00:45So that's there.
00:46They're designing runs.
00:47I know last night they had him rolling out on like a quarterback sweep action
00:51to the left side.
00:52They pull a guard.
00:52They do all of this.
00:53And you know what he does?
00:54He picks up the first down, and then he gets down.
00:57This isn't the reckless Josh Allen that we've seen in years past.

01:02DJ Moore goes out with an injury.

01:04You could amputate the leg of Dalton Kincaid.
01:06I still think Josh Allen has the good to get this team where they need to go.
01:10They've never won a Super Bowl.
01:12It's hard not to get your mind thinking that direction,
01:14given how he's playing right now.

01:17How about the, you know, the elevation of Joe Brady?

01:22I mean, you know, I said maybe the move of the year.

01:29You know, Sean McDermott had won a boatload of games, Kyle.
01:33A boatload of football games.
01:35Put him in the playoffs every year.
01:36But he looks like a little bit more calmer with Joe Brady's influence.
01:41Remember, Joe Brady was down at LSU with Joe Burrow.
01:44He's had an opportunity now to work with Josh Allen.
01:47But the influx of him being able to teach Josh Allen,
01:51we're seeing it in the first two weeks at least, no?
01:53Yeah.
01:54And we saw it in the NBA where Steve Kerr took over the Warriors.
01:57He took over a great team and elevated them.
01:59I think we could be seeing something in Buffalo.
02:02It's not that Sean McDermott was a bad option.
02:04Just maybe he wasn't the right guy to get him over this hump.
02:07But this team, I mean, they added a coach.
02:09They bring in DJ Moore.
02:10Like, I get that there's some confounding variables a little bit here.
02:13But it's hard not to, through two weeks at least.
02:16And again, that's a small sample.
02:17We'll see where we are in the middle of November and things like that.
02:20But there's no reason to think this Buffalo team's going to do anything
02:23but get better, I want to say.
02:25It's hard to build on what they've done so far.
02:27But that's a Super Bowl-level team in Detroit that they just blitzed last night.
02:32Like, that game wasn't really as competitive as the final score even says.
02:36If you are a Lions fan and you're putting a bag of money
02:40and you're taking your wallet out with them,
02:42are you concerned in the first two weeks of what you saw?
02:45You know, there was a lot of points thrown up in that Saints game.
02:48There was a lot of yards in that Saints game.
02:51And we saw a little bit of that same thing last night.
02:54If you're a Lions fan, a lot of people like this team
02:56because of the scheduling that they had
02:58because they finished last in the NFC North last year.
03:01And it's a favorable schedule.
03:02But are you concerned a little bit about that defense?
03:06I am, but they've got some injuries that they're dealing with.
03:09And again, we saw it in week one with the Houston Texans.
03:12If you get lit up by Josh Allen,
03:14I don't even think that data point really counts.
03:17Like, that's just kind of par for the course.
03:18If Michael Jordan hangs 40 on you, are you really that concerned?
03:21I'm not.
03:23Yes, it's concerning.
03:24But like I said, there's injuries here.
03:26You've got three cupcakes coming up and then a bye.
03:28So in a month, if we're still having this discussion,
03:30if Detroit's kicking around 500 and, you know,
03:33we're giving up 30 points to, I don't know,
03:36insert Minnesota quarterback at that point
03:39or something along those lines,
03:40then that's a different discussion.
03:41But for right now, you get lit up by Josh Allen
03:43and the bright lights on a short week.
03:46Like, I'm not too worried about it.
03:47The defense isn't going to be the strength,
03:49but I don't think it's going to be bottom five
03:50like what we've seen through two weeks.
