00:00What an absolutely great two weeks it's been for Josh Allen and that Buffalo Bills team.
00:07So let me get this right.
00:08They take out the Houston, Texas, which has been a little kryptonite to what you have here with Josh Allen.
00:14Then you take on another formidable team, a team that many people pick to win the NFC North in the
00:20Detroit Lions.
00:21And what's this dude do?
00:23Again, he's got nine touchdowns in his first two games.
00:27He had five last night total, 248 through the air, and he was just a machine.
00:33This guy was like a cyborg.
00:35You talk about AI?
00:37I thought I was watching it last night.
00:39He is almost undefensible the way he plays a football game.
00:44And if you're the head football coach, Joe Brady, you have to be stunned every single time you're on a
00:50football field watching this man play.
00:52Do you ever just run out of amazement at what he's able to do?
00:57No, the only difference is now I'm on the field watching it, and it's actually kind of more amazing.
01:02Yeah, I mean, when you ask everybody on the team to empty the tank, you can watch how he plays,
01:08and it's like, how does everybody else not feel like they need to empty it out?
01:11You know, because he literally gave everything he had out there, and, you know, he put the team on his
01:16back in a lot of those situations.
01:18You know, he was taking hits.
01:19Obviously, I don't like that, but, you know, we were moving him in the pocket.
01:22He was making good decisions and then finding his way in the end zone.
01:25And any time you have a quarterback that can score, throwing the ball in, running the ball, it makes my
01:30life a lot easier.
01:30And he was outstanding today, and the score reflects that.
01:34You know, that freak show has missed one football game in the last six years.
01:39And the style of play that he runs is insane to say that.
01:44I mean, he is just a cyborg watching and how you watch him play each and every single Sunday.
01:50Dude, if you're a fan of this team and you're residing in Buffalo, you know, he really plays for that
01:57community, too.
01:57It's truly one of the best communities in all of pro football.
02:01Last night, they unveiled Highmark Stadium.
02:04It was an absolutely great show last night.
02:06Bruce Smith was on hand as well.
02:08But, boy, I'll tell you what, a player, a city.
02:12I mean, look, Cal Ripken in Baltimore, Tony Gwynn in San Diego, and Josh Allen in Buffalo.
02:19Yeah, I think at the national anthem, you know, got myself, like, taking it all in
02:24and understanding how cool of what I get to do.
02:28You know, my job is the coolest thing in the world.
02:31It's everything that I've ever wanted to be the quarterback of an NFL franchise.
02:35And I'm just very fortunate that I ended up here in Buffalo
02:38and got to, you know, be the first quarterback to open this stadium, which is, you know, it's a special
02:44spot.
02:45That's a freaking guy who just has great passion for where he plays and who he's playing for.
02:53You see the emotions that guy has?
02:55That's what makes that kid special.
02:58Remember, he had one recruiting offer in college, and it was to the University of Wyoming.
03:04He penned and sent emails to over 275 schools.
03:10Not one of them wanted him.
03:11And now he's the best player at the most coveted position in all of pro football
03:17and all of American sports, a quarterback for an NFL franchise.
03:22No doubt about it.
03:23Now, on the other hand, my favorite Hulkster, and that is AKA Dan Campbell.
03:30Man, he's looking for the identity of his football team.
03:33You're one and one right now coming off that loss last night, 41-31.
03:38Dan Campbell right now starting to see who his team really is.
03:41Now we know after two games, we kind of know who we are.
03:44We're figuring some stuff out.
03:45And we've got about three days here to kind of figure that out before we start getting ready for the
03:49Jets as a staff as well.
03:51So now we can really digest, all right, here's our two-game snapshot.
03:56This is what you are.
03:57This says what you are.
03:58And we can really deep dive these players and what they do best, what they don't do or need help
04:07in.
04:07And we'll move on from that.
04:10Well, my producers are Jet fans, so it's a get-right game this weekend for the Lions.
04:16Sorry, guys.
04:17It is a get-right game for those Lions.
04:20All right.
04:20But you got to look also at Jared Goff.
04:23Hey, has Jared Goff been the same dude since Ben Johnson went over to Chicago?
04:27Look, he's a good football player.
04:29Look at those numbers last night, man.
04:31Four TDs, 327.
04:33The dude knows how to get that ball around the yard, doesn't he?
04:36But they got to get things right, man, because that's a football team that's got a lesser schedule
04:41because they finished in last place in the NFC South.
04:44So they have a – excuse me, NFC North.
04:46So they have a shot at really winning that division, but they got to get it right.
04:51Yeah, I think anytime you play a good team like that, a team that's been in the playoffs
04:54as many times as they have, who has had the success, like, you get to see where you stack up,
04:59and we're not there yet.
04:59They played really well tonight, played the game they wanted to play,
05:03and we got what we deserved to some extent.
05:06You know, they played well.
05:07You get what you deserve on both sides of the coin in the NFL, and they beat us.
05:13I want that guy like to do my taxes, right?
05:15He looks like a guy that does your taxes, okay?
