00:00All right, I'm going to throw my MVP out at you,
00:02and you tell me if I'm crazy or not on this one here.
00:05I think the impact that Jim Harbaugh has had on that Charger team so far,
00:11in my opinion, as you've been seeing it progressively getting better
00:15and better and better and better.
00:17I got Justin Herbert as my favorite to win the NFL's MVP this year.
00:21Am I off base?
00:22No, no, not at all.
00:24I love this pick.
00:25You've got Mike McDaniel coming in to lead this offense.
00:28If this offense takes this up forward, that I certainly think they can.
00:32The weapons are there.
00:33Omari and Hampton's great if he can stay on the field.
00:36Led McCocky, I think, reverts to the rookie version of himself
00:39a little bit down last season, but I do think he has a big year.
00:42Quentin Johnson just scores touchdowns, which realistically,
00:45for your bet here, that'll pay off.
00:47I think they can win games, and by winning, if he's going to win MVP,
00:51that means you've got to win a lot of games,
00:53and if he's winning a lot of games, that means you're probably beating
00:56Patrick Mahomes and guys like that, that'll work for me.
00:59I like the Herbert angle here.
01:00He could be the first quarterback ever to pass for 4,500 yards
01:04and run for 500 within a season.
01:06I'm all sorts of in on Herbert for fantasy, for betting, for week one,
01:10whatever you want to do.
01:11I don't think there's a wrong way to play Herbie in 2026.
01:14I really like Justin Herbert, but my favorite quarterback is Josh Allen.
01:19Has Brandon, being the general manager of the Buffalo Bills,
01:22elevating Joe Brady was probably the right move if you're talking about moving
01:27off of Sean McDermott.
01:28His chances of winning that most valuable player in 26 in your eyes are what?
01:33I mean, I think they're handicapped roughly right.
01:37He should be the favorite, but does the favorite ever win these things?
01:41It doesn't feel like it happens all that often, and you've got a contender
01:44in his own division in Drake May.
01:46If they don't win that division, he's not going to be the most valuable
01:49quarterback in the AFC East, let alone in the NFL.
01:52So there's some concerns there.
01:53I'm not paying up for the favorite.
01:55If I'm going to the top of the board and it's not your guy, Herbert,
01:58Joe Burrow's got my attention because if Cincinnati's going to win,
02:01similar to Herbert, he's going to have to go through an MVP candidate
02:04in Lamar Jackson.
02:05And we know Cincinnati's bones are made on the offensive end of the ball.
02:08If he stays healthy, he's thrown for over 4,500 yards.
02:13We know he could throw for over 40 touchdowns.
02:15There's a lot of statistical reasons to go that way if you think Cincinnati
02:19can win a dozen games.
02:20Hey, real quick, Dak, what do you think his shots are?
02:24To win the MVP, I'm not too sold just because I think that much of the
02:28running game, and if they have a big season, let's say they win 12 or 13 games,
02:32that's huge.
02:33But I think the defensive improvements will get a lot of that attention and credit,
02:37which takes a little bit of the shine off of a guy like Dak Prescott.
02:41If you want to go that way, CeeDee Lamb or George Pickett or Javante Williams,
02:44for that matter, in the Offensive Player of the Year market kind of rings more
02:47true to me because I think any one of them could have a huge season,
02:51whereas Dak's going against so many good quarterbacks like your guy,
02:54Herbert or Burrow, for that matter.
02:55We're going to take a moment.
02:55Let's go.
