01:05And I just think quarterbacks are still sitting ducks,
01:09but what's coming at them is coming at them with greater force.
01:14It might be just too easy to say bigger, stronger, faster, right?

01:20Quarterbacks are the most vulnerable.
01:22But sometimes they're the ones putting themselves at more risk than necessary
01:27because they want to make that big play.
01:29And maybe they think the refs are going to help protect them
01:32or that the defense is going to have to respect them, but they don't.
01:35The defense doesn't respect the quarterback,
01:37not until the game's over or until the season is done.
01:41While they're playing within that 60 minutes,
01:43they're trying to kill these guys.
01:44The quarterbacks are extending plays to make big plays,
01:47but they're not taking care of themselves in the process.
01:49The more you run, the more you cut.
01:51The more you cut, the more at risk you are of tearing something
01:54or twisting something or just getting blasted by very large men.
01:59I think in the end, it just might be that simple thing,
02:02bigger, stronger, faster, coming after guys.
02:04So I really did the deep dive on this,
02:06and I found out that football is a physical sport.
02:12I think everyone's overreacting.
02:13So someone who actually did the deeper dive is ESPN's Bill Barnwell.
02:17Well, and since 2001, so this century,
02:20every five years, at least 38 quarterbacks have thrown five passes
02:24through the first two weeks of the season.
02:27Essentially means this has happened many times before.
02:29For some reason, it's every five years, though.
02:312001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2021, and now 2026, which is random,
02:39but every one of those years I just mentioned,
02:4138 quarterbacks or more have thrown at least five passes
02:44through the first two weeks of the season.
02:45People just get hurt.
02:47It just happens.
02:48And now, for some reason, I think we're more sensitive to it
02:50because social media, fantasy, and guess what?
02:53Gambling.

02:59All right, which winless team needs to win the most in week three?

03:06They should have won last week against the Eagles,

03:12They just couldn't get it done.
03:14They need to know that they're improving.
03:16They put all the resources in that the quarterback that they drafted
03:18and Cam Young need to know that he is the guy.
03:21This week, they're going to take on the Giants,
03:23who just lost Jackson Dart for the season.
03:26They need to exploit the weakness in Jameis Winston and celebrate.
03:30Or they could be looking at 0-6, frankly,
03:32heading into a showdown with the Browns,
03:34who might not be as bad as people think they are,
03:36but it's probably their best chance to win a game this season
03:39outside of Sunday's game against the Giants.
03:42This could be an absolutely horrific season for Tennessee.
03:46They need to win on Sunday.
03:47I'm going to go with Houston.
03:49The Texans had Super Bowl aspirations.
03:51They had better odds than the Lions to win the Super Bowl.
03:55They got a division game this week against Indy.
03:58That team will be close to done if they're 0-3.
04:01They won't be done, but they'll be close to done if they're 0-3.
04:04So there are quite a few teams that are 0-2 that really need to win,
04:07but I'm choosing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers solely
04:10because I think Todd Bowles' job might be on the line.
04:13He's the one who might lose his job if they don't win this week.
04:16It's a weak division, so if they were to fire Todd Bowles,
04:18they could still actually theoretically get back into it,
04:21even with a new interim coach, because that division is so weak.
