00:00well i would say arizona won the trade harrison looked bad he looked disinterested and with both
00:05teams checking in at one and four one team arizona is starting the process of offloading
00:09dead weight for draft capital the other houston is out there throwing hail mary's trying to win
00:14i suspect houston will miss that second round pick come next spring and arizona will use it to
00:19help their organizational jump start so i would say that arizona won the trade i'm gonna say
00:26houston and this is a complete leap of faith right i uh i believe in marvin harrison jr i can't
00:32ignore what i saw in college and that connection with cj stroud is was uh was there so i'd like
00:38to
00:38see it um i'm looking forward to it see if they can create some magic but you basically also have
00:43two seasons to get it done due to the compensation going the other way being a second round pick in
00:482028 uh so arizona is not going to see any real return for a couple of years on that yeah
00:53they'll
00:54have one of the picks this upcoming draft but it's late so there's still some time under here to to
00:59make it to make it work and i think time is time and it changes scenery is what marvin harrison
01:03jr
01:04needed if i'm wrong i'm wrong but i think this is a chance to be great for for houston because
01:09marvin's not asked to be the number one guy 27 pick the second round yeah it's a 2027 second round
01:15pick so they'll see it right oh i'm sorry i'm gonna get confused with joy portage yeah yeah i still
01:20i'll
01:20still stand by because i'd love marvin i've loved marvin harrison jr in college so i think the
01:24cardinals won the trade uh no one in the nfl knows better than the arizona cardinals that marvin
01:29harrison jr is a bust they were able to get a second round pick for him that's more than i
01:34thought they
01:34would get for him honestly the texans are one and four so that as of right now looks like it's
01:39going
01:39to be a high second round pick now of course there's always a chance to change the scenery and you
01:43renew reuniting with his old college quarterback could help but i doubt it history just isn't on marvin
01:48harrison jr's side players chosen in the top five who are traded from the original teams
01:52almost never end up panning out they become bust i think marvin harrison jr just adds to that list
02:03should the la chargers trade justin herbert they're oh and five all right you guys know i don't like
02:09justin herbert that much as a quarterback i think he was a little overrated um but i can't deny he's
02:15got
02:15talent right he's he's put up some pretty good seasons in the past hasn't done anything in the
02:18postseason but right now it's completely and it's an incomplete season for him it's not fair what what
02:26has happened with the the chargers offensive line being completely decimated by injuries there isn't
02:31a single quarterback in the national football league that would succeed with that offensive line
02:35so i don't think it's fair uh plus i don't love the quarterback class that's coming out i mean it
02:40was a
02:40much heralded class beginning the season that would be coming into the draft for 2027 i don't love it
02:46i need to see some more of a couple of those guys to think if that's one of those guys
02:49i really want
02:49to put my future on so right now i i don't think it's i don't think i would trade justin
02:55her maybe
02:55an off-season trade but not right now there's an old saying buy low and sell high trading herbert now
03:00in the midst of the worst year of his career is an example of selling low teams are going to
03:04hope
03:05to get him on a cheap price tag now we know the guy can play he's only 28 the chargers
03:10offense as
03:11you mentioned ravaged by injuries plus his dead cap hit 132 million he's under contract for two more
03:18years with a third year option i say the chargers should keep him so although the team's not playing
03:24well justin herbert's not playing well if they did decide to trade him they could still get a haul
03:28because he's a young solid quarterback and they're just so hard to find in this league
03:32but i wouldn't trade him just because like i said it's so hard to find a young solid quarterback
03:37in this league and it's not like he hasn't done anything in this league he's been to the playoffs
03:41he's made the pro bowls it's just that he's had you know four this is his fourth head coach his
03:46fifth
03:46offensive coordinator he's played for the nfl already if you include the interims i'm not saying
03:51he doesn't deserve a lot of the blame because he does but i think there's something there we all see
03:56it everyone sees it they always think that he's going to do more and it just hasn't happened yet
04:00but i think you have to build around him and it's just too hard to start all over even though
04:04i think you could get a haul because other people should be like well herbert's available yeah we need
04:08a quarterback all right should dan quinn have been fired for that overtime clock management fiasco last
04:15sunday well yes but not solely for that fc washington is taking on water he just expanded the the hole
04:23in
04:24the hull of the boat he went 12 and 5 in year one he's won six games in the next
04:3022 he needs a miracle
04:33to save this thing i have this saying somebody's in the fired position and it's up for them to coach
04:38their way out of it i would say that he needs to coach his way out of this or he
04:43is done and that
04:44might have been the game that pushed me over the brink to say he should be done it's certainly the
04:49game
04:49that's on the resume to say at the end of the season this is why you're being let go or
04:53one of
04:54the main reasons you're being let go but i think you got to give this a little bit more time
04:57part of
04:58the reason that they lost a bunch of games under him is that jayden daniels hasn't been healthy
05:02jayden daniels got back to the game last week and looked great uh taking off and running when he needed
05:09to picked up massive yards for them uh it was a huge mistake that he should that both both the
05:16player and coach should share in the player should know better than than doing what he did and running
05:21the play but dan quinn's gotta gotta be better too and just just go ahead and kick the damn ball
05:26i
05:26mean he had no there was no reason to run an extra play particularly if you weren't looking to get
05:29extra yards then what are you doing um but i i'd say let it play out for the rest of
05:34the season and
05:35see what happens and it may just reveal itself they could be a terrible team and he could be the
05:39wrong
05:39coach but you don't have to do it now you can wait till week 14 week 15 you can wait
05:43till after the
05:44season to get to do that so there aren't many times i would personally fire a coach based off
05:50one bad moment but if there was ever a bad moment to be fired that was it guys i would
05:55have fired
05:56him obviously it includes what they've done the you know earlier this season as well the team is just
06:00isn't going anywhere that play in that moment alone is just totally inexcusable i mean peewee
06:06football coaches know better literally the guy on his couch knew better he gave away that potential
06:11win it just you can't do that at this level is it time for the tennessee titans to bench cam
06:18ward
06:19i don't think so not yet i mean he's in year two and this is a team that doesn't have
06:23a whole lot of
06:24talent on offense there's a lot of young unrealized talent at this point they spent a high draft pick
06:29on carnell tate um you know that's still a work in progress for sure you know tony pollard we talked
06:35about him yesterday he's a leading rusher but he's already apparently on the the trading block
06:39so i i just give it some time i i think people are really quick to pull guys from situations
06:45and when you look back on this this could be one of those situations where you say to yourself this
06:51is why you don't start quarterbacks from day one that maybe it's best that they learn for a year
06:56before you throw them into the fire this is only year two for cam ward he's completing a higher
07:01percentage of his passes than he did last year as a rookie i'd give it some more time i want
07:06them to
07:07do this for our entertainment and hand the keys to their practice squad quarterback
07:12hendon hooker well detroit would like to see him play uh but ward was sacked at nfl high 55 times
07:21last
07:22year those numbers are down he's getting more time in the pocket he's able to complete some passes
07:28i don't think there's anything wrong with having him sit and watch for a minute
07:32mitchell trubisky is the backup there but at this point i would let him play so yeah people are too
07:39quick to pull quarterbacks but you also just said a gator picker people are too quick to start
07:43quarterbacks they started maybe too early so now i think it might be time to sit him that doesn't
07:48mean his career is over i've given up on cam ward but sometimes you need a break you need to
07:52step back
07:53and just relax reset reassess what you've been doing watch and actually learn and that's okay he's got
07:59some bad habits he needs to break and sometimes you don't want these habits to become permanent you
08:03continually put them out there and he doesn't get any better it doesn't learn you could tell from
08:07his press conference too it's starting to wear on him and i think some of the reporters are actually
08:10a little too hard on him with the questions they're asking him but you don't want your young quarterback
08:14out there taking these arrows when he doesn't have to it might be doing more damage than good to keep
08:18sending him out there maybe play trubisky for a couple weeks let cam ward learn and then put cam ward
08:22back
08:23in but i think it might be time to just just give him a little break the rams eagles cowboys
08:31and colts
08:31are all two and three which if any of these teams should be panicking right now well i wouldn't panic
08:37if i were any of them and i wouldn't be panicking if i were doing a the show in this
08:41town personal in
08:42their towns personally but if forced to choose i would go with philly saquon barkley is out devonta
08:48smith is out don't know when they're going to return their offensive line they traded cam jurgens
08:53lane johnson walked away that's not a great situation there's still a lot of talent there
08:58but that feels like a team that is at a bit of a crossroads and may may be in need
09:03of an
09:03organizational reset yeah i i think the eagles are already panicked so i kind of rule them out because
09:09they're already in that situation for all the reasons you gave uh add to that nick seriani's kind
09:13of blunder at the end of their their game in london against jacksonville by you know just not
09:18blasting the kick deep and you know forcing jacksonville to come down the field in a couple
09:22of plays rather than just being a kick return that brings them into field goal range and you lose it
09:26that way um so i think they're already there i think the cowboys are the team that uh maybe should
09:32be panicking right now the the colts and rams look like those are decent teams certainly the rams have
09:38way more talent than than what the record shows and they're going to get the best defensive player in
09:43football back in a couple of weeks so when miles garrett's added that you calm down they'll make
09:48the playoffs and they can make a run and i like the colts but the cowboys just don't seem like
09:52they've
09:53got enough all around and and they'll panic and the panic will be known when jerry decides to pull
10:00triggers on more trades and that's what jerry's going to do so in the last five years about 25 percent
10:05of teams that start two and three have made the playoffs so according to my math doug three of these
10:11teams need to start panicking because they're probably not going to make the playoffs the rams
10:15they clearly have the most talent of these four teams but they might be in the toughest division
10:18of these four teams with that being said if i'm the rams i'm not panicking they're going to get
10:24the defensive player of the year back they have a solid players already as it is they played a tough
10:28schedule so far had some coaching decisions that might have cost them a game or two the other three
10:33teams though they should be very concerned and panicked about missing the playoffs
10:41all right last one jamis winston he was recently asked what is the jamis winston experience he replied
10:48this is just part of his answer the first part my take on the jamis winston experience is that i
10:52am
10:52called to be the light of the world and salt of the earth and he continued on with that guys
10:57what is
10:58your definition of the jamis winston experience wow um i mean it's kind of like riding in the backseat
11:06of a car driven by tuneses the the driving cat and that cat could not drive if you remember the
11:11old saturday night live but it always ended up going over to cliff that's kind of like how i feel
11:14with the jamis winston experience it's always herky-jerky got some crazy moments and there's
11:19some things going what the hell are we doing but when the ride's done you didn't get where you wanted
11:23to
11:24go it's just sheer disappointment and frankly just a weird ride i find him insanely entertaining to
11:32listen to but i'm gonna bet he's like that guy in the office that everyone finds to be a character
11:38at first but after a while the whole office gets sick of the shtick and wants him to shut the
11:44blank up
11:45so it's not my problem so i'll watch the goofiness and laugh but i bet he wears on his teammates
11:52in the
11:52locker room it's a ride like are you on drugs this whole time while you're on this ride it's a
11:57ride i don't have a desire to experience and i'm glad we don't have to really experience it we
12:01experience it from afar right i i know ai's taking over everything has it taken over jamis winston's
12:07body and mind like i don't even think he's real anymore i don't know what he's saying i don't know
12:11if he knows what he's saying i kind of treat him like facebook posts at this point i i can't
12:16believe
12:16it's real and i just kind of move on but like is was that entertaining yes not i i don't
12:22even know
12:22anymore what the jamis winston experience is he's not even himself and there it is that concludes the
12:28y9 omaha four down around the league blitz thinging
