00:19Good morning. It's been an interesting presentation here at the General Assembly on the second day from the President of
00:28Iran.
00:29Which was just a few minutes ago ended up his presentation.
00:33He put special emphasis in sovereignty.
00:37He said that there is no country in the world referring to the U.S. that could impose them what
00:44to do to direct their policies,
00:47to dictate who is who regarding the control of the Strait Hormuz.
00:52They say that they want to make absolutely sure that the flow of vessels is not dictated by just the
01:00United States.
01:01They believe that there is a country that has been attacked.
01:06They did not start that war, and they will have the right to defend themselves.
01:11He was extremely emphatic in terms of explaining and assessing the rights that they believe that they have to exercise.
01:21And again, he was absolutely pointing his finger to the U.S. in terms of being a victim of an
01:30aggression that has been costing them many, many, many lives.
01:33What do we expect today? We're expecting that throughout the morning some of the countries of Latin America are going
01:41to be addressing the assembly.
01:44Same thing in the afternoon. Most of the countries from Latin America today are having governments of far right or
01:52extreme far right.
01:54But most of them members of what is called in English, the shield of the Americas, el escudo de las
02:02Americas.
02:03So mostly there are countries that are aligned with the U.S. and also that has been extremely critical to
02:11governments of progressive leaders in Latin America.
02:15On the other hand, in the afternoon, it's expected around 5.30 if they maintain the schedule.
02:23The president, acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, will be addressing the General Assembly.
02:30It's going to be the first time in 10 years. She did the last time so on 2016.
02:36But as a vice president, President Nicolás Maduro in person, the same thing two years later, in 2018, Delcy Rodriguez
02:49in person was in 2016.
02:51And Delcy Rodriguez, as you were mentioning before, last night had the first meeting in person with President Trump.
