00:13What can you tell us?
00:17Well, that we have sort of a surprise this morning and I believe that it's in the wrong
00:23way or the bad way, surprise, because very close to here in the 2nd Avenue between 45th
00:30Street and 47th Street, so really in the surroundings of the United Nations here in New York City,
00:37a package was found, suspicious package, and the police closed all that area, definitely
00:47regarding stores and people who work and live over there, has been evacuated in order to
00:56clarify if that could be sort of anything dangerous and they are still looking to decide or to find
01:04out what we were talking about.
01:06That was something that was not really in the schedule this morning.
01:10Most relevant thing of the morning to share with our audience has been the presentation
01:19in the 5th position this morning of the President of Iran, who mostly delivered two messages very
01:29clearly in terms of the military area.
01:32We are strong.
01:35We are determined to resist as long as it takes.
01:40The permanent attacks from the U.S. and Israel don't even think that we could capitulate or surrender.
01:50We are strong.
01:51Our people are strong.
01:53And we are going to continue to fight to defend our rights, to defend our self-determination,
01:59to defend our sovereignty.
02:02In the case also of the Strait of Hormuz, we are going to decide with our neighbors the
02:13rules of engagement, who or who is going to be using.
02:16We are not going to be determined by other countries the way we have to run our country and our
02:25Strait of Hormuz.
02:26On the other hand, they open the door in diplomacy.
02:31We are ready to resist, but we are open to continue discussions in a respectful way.
02:40We are not going to discuss diplomacy if diplomacy represents accept all the terms that the U.S.
02:49is trying to push them to do.
02:51For example, they say that they have the right to develop what is called the mostly for civil
03:02union, for civil situations, the nuclear energy.
03:08We, they say, we have no interest to develop a nuclear weapon, as they are trained to present
03:15by President Trump.
03:17And therefore, we decide that we have the right, nobody is going to tell us, impose us.
03:23And the thing that was very clear was that yesterday in Donald Trump's speech was accusing Iran to be in
03:34a terrorist attack.
03:35Today was a response of the President of Iran saying, no, you guys are the terrorists.
03:41We are not terrorists, you are terrorists, and you are training other people to be terrorists.
03:47Therefore, he wants to put in clear what was his response.
03:52In the afternoon, we expect President, Acting President, Delsi Rodriguez, to give her speech around 5.30 in the afternoon.
04:03Again, it's going to be the first time since 2016, means in 10 years, that she's going to address the
04:12General Assembly.
04:13And she did so in 2016 as the Vice President of Venezuela, and we are looking forward to see and
04:21to share with you that message.
