00:00So you want to make your Samsung Galaxy look cool and set it up right,
00:03especially if you just got the new Galaxy S26.
00:06Don't worry, I got you.
00:07In under 10 minutes, I'm going to show you exactly how to turn that boring stock Galaxy phone
00:11into this way faster, cooler, and incredible smartphone,
00:15even packed with a new secret hidden compartment that only opens up with your fingerprint.

00:23I mean, the timer's already ticking.
00:25So let's jump right in.
00:26First, let's fix one weird setting that Samsung turns on by default on most of their phones.
00:31Just go into the settings and search for RAM+.
00:34By default, the phone reserves 8GB of your storage to act as virtual RAM.
00:39Just turn that off and it'll restart.
00:41And boom, you instantly get back that storage.
00:44Having that enabled too can actually wear out the flash memory faster,
00:47so it's not really worth it.
00:49Now let's make everything feel snappier.
00:51Head into the Galaxy Store and download GoodLuck.
00:53It's basically a treasure chest of customization.
00:56Then download the Homeup module inside of it.
00:59And in that module, just toggle on Gesture Settings.
01:02Then go into that page and toggle on the first two options.
01:06From there, jump into Home Gesture Animation Tuning
01:09and set it to Dynamic to open apps much more quickly.
01:12And then go back and jump into the second menu.
01:15And in there, you can change the speed to Fast.
01:17And just with those two toggles enabled,
01:19you'll notice how much quicker everything opens up.
01:21And one last thing, let's quickly get rid of one of the biggest slowdowns on any phone,
01:26intrusive ads within apps or websites you visit.
01:29So just go into the Settings, Connections, More Connection Settings, Private DNS,
01:35switch it to Private DNS Provider Host Name,
01:38and type in DNS.AdGuard.com.
01:42Hit Save.
01:42And just like that, most ads across websites and apps are gone.
01:46Okay, so now that your Galaxy is running faster,
01:49got rid of all those ads,
01:50and you've got some extra storage back,
01:52let's fix that boring home screen and lock screen.
01:55Starting with the lock screen,
01:56I actually went with this depth effect look
01:57where the clock actually sits behind certain elements of the wallpaper.
02:01So there are certain ways to do it on Samsung.
02:04You could go through the GoodLuck app to do it.
02:05But the easiest way that I found to do this
02:08is by just downloading depth wallpapers from the Play Store.
02:11This already gives you a whole set of 3D effect wallpapers
02:14with a ton of really nice backgrounds
02:16and different looking clock faces too.
02:19Plus on top of that, by using depth wallpaper,
02:22you can have the lock screen clock
02:23also transition to the home screen clock,
02:25which is really seamless.
02:27I mean, you can't really have that
02:28with the default Samsung GoodLuck app.
02:31I'm using this abstract one right now,
02:32but they've got a bunch to choose from.
02:34You can tweak pretty much everything too.
02:36Now, one thing to note is that you will need to hide
02:38Samsung's default lock screen clock
02:40since the app does need that space to show its own clock.
02:43But Samsung doesn't really give you a proper option to remove it.
02:46But there is a quick workaround.
02:47First, you just go into the GoodLuck app
02:49and you download the following two mods,
02:51Lockstar and ClockFace.
02:54Then inside Lockstar, you tap on the clock,
02:56go to style,
02:57and then scroll all the way to the last clock face on the right.
03:01Then hit the plus icon,
03:03tap X,
03:04then the trash can,
03:05tap the plus again,
03:07choose text,
03:08and just type in a few spaces.
03:10Save that as your clock face
03:12and apply it with a check mark.
03:14And once you hit done,
03:15boom,
03:15no more clock,
03:16and your wallpaper actually shines.
03:18Now, if you just want to skip the Depth Wallpaper app all entirely,
03:21I'll just drop a few clean wallpapers in the description to download for free.

03:34when it comes to pimping out the outside of the Galaxy S26 Ultra,
03:37I didn't want to ruin the experience with some cheap or ugly case.
03:40And after testing a ton of them,
03:42I got to say,

04:55All right, moving on to the home screen itself.
04:57Make sure you clear everything on the home screen.
05:00Then jump back into the Good Lock app,
05:02and then home up.
05:04Go into home screen.
05:05Inside, just change the home screen grid to 6x7.
05:08Now go back to your actual home screen.
05:10Okay, now for the widgets.
05:11This is the fun part.
05:12You'll need two apps from the Play Store,
05:15KWGT Custom Widget Maker,
05:16and the KWGT Pro Key.
05:19I'll also drop a zip file with some custom KWGT widgets
05:22in the description that our team made from scratch
05:25to match Samsung's vibe.
05:26You can download it for free, so thumbs up.
05:29And once you do, just extract that in your downloads folder
05:32using any file manager.
05:34Now again, if you're not using that depth wallpaper from earlier,
05:36you won't have a clock widget,
05:38but we made a custom clock in replacement.
05:41Here's the next move.
05:42Just drop a giant 4x4 KWGT widget on top of the home screen.
05:47Then shrink it down by one notch to around 4x3.
05:50Tap it to open it.
05:52Hit Import.
05:53Then import the clock first.
05:55And from there, you're going to want to import
05:56the other two widgets as well.
05:58Now for the clock, you can tap on Clock HTM.
06:01If it's massive, just go to the Layers tab
06:03and scale it down until it fits perfectly.
06:06And then from there, you can go into the Globals tab.
06:08And in here, you can pick from five fonts
06:10that match the Galaxy look.
06:11Finally, once you're done, you hit Save,
06:14jump back to your home screen,
06:15and boom, you've got a new clock.
06:18Now for the bottom widgets,
06:19I wanted to go with stuff that I would find to be helpful
06:21each and every day.
06:23Most are stock Samsung widgets,
06:24so no extra downloads needed.
06:26First, I created a folder with all of my favorite apps,
06:29and then I enlarged it.
06:30Then I made it transparent by opening it up,
06:33tapping the color icon,
06:35then the RGB one,
06:36and setting the opacity to zero
06:38to make the background invisible.
06:40Then I placed a 4x2 KWGT widget,
06:43opened it,
06:44and picked Music Player HTM.
06:47Again, it might be too big,
06:48so just scale it down in the Layers tab to around 100.
06:51Hit Save.
06:53Now you've got a nice music controller.
06:55Below that, I dropped the Now Brief widget.
06:57It comes pre-installed on newer Samsungs.
06:59It basically gives you daily relevant info.
07:01And by the way,
07:02I even made a video on how to get this working
07:04on older Galaxy devices too.
07:05Just check the YouTube cards to watch that later.
07:08And from there,
07:09next to it,
07:10I put the stock Samsung Digital Wellbeing widget
07:12to be able to track my screen time.
07:14And then in the settings of that widget,
07:15I set the transparency to 100%
07:17so it blends in perfectly.
07:19That's the main screen.
07:20Swipe over to the next one,
07:22and in there,
07:23I added a tiny stock battery widget
07:25to be able to track my phone
07:26and a watch.
07:28Next to it,
07:28I also added a 2x2 step counter,
07:30which is also made from Samsung.
07:32And then the weather app down below,
07:34but I actually changed its shape
07:36in settings to a rectangle
07:38with rounded corners.
07:39And then next to that,
07:40I added another 4x2 KWGT widget
07:43and stretched it a bit
07:44and then imported my information widget.
07:47Again,
07:48you might need to tweak the size
07:49in the Layer tab to make it fit.
07:51So there you go.
07:52All the widgets.
07:53Now for the icon pack.
07:54I'm using one called
07:55Simply Minimal White,
07:57which is free to download.
07:58Now, Samsung doesn't make it easy
07:59to apply third-party icon packs,
08:01but here's the workaround.
08:03You basically go into the Good Luck app,
08:05download the Theme Park module,
08:07and then open it up.
08:09Tap the icon tab,
08:11hit Create New,
08:12go to the icon tab,
08:14select Icon Pack,
08:16choose Simple Minimal,
08:18then go to Shape
08:19and set it to Circle.
08:21Hit the Download icon
08:22in the top right corner,
08:24name it whatever you want,
08:26tap it,
08:26and hit Apply.
08:27Once you head back
08:28to your home screen,
08:29all your icons
08:30should now be themed.
08:31And finally,
08:32let's do that secret hidden compartment.
08:33You just gotta download
08:34Pix Material Expressive Icons
08:36from the Play Store.
08:37Now,
08:37it is $1.49 to download,

08:43Inside the app,
08:44you just toggle on
08:45Add Custom Folder and Launcher.
08:47Then you go to your Widgets panel,
08:49find the Mini Folder one,
08:51and drop it on your home screen.
08:52A screen will pop up,
08:54letting you pick apps to hide,
08:56definitely enable fingerprint protection too,
08:58maybe a widget animation,
09:00and then hit Apply.
09:01From there,
09:02stretch it to 2x2,
09:03and then you can stack it
09:04right on top of the battery widget
09:06to hide it.
09:07One last thing,
09:08go back into the home screen settings,
09:09and look for Hide Apps
09:11on Home and App Screens,
09:12and in there,
09:13you can hide all those secret apps.
09:15They'll vanish from your app drawer
09:16and search
09:17and only be accessible
09:18through that hidden folder.
09:20And just like that,
09:20your Galaxy should be looking
09:22way more cleaner and customized.

09:24it'll take you a bit longer
09:25than 10 minutes to do this,
09:27but the idea
