00:00Amazon just refreshed basically the entire Kindle lineup and some of these decisions have me going
00:05finally and others have me going wait why. Starting for the one I have personally been
00:10waiting for, Amazon finally moved the power button off the bottom of the Kindle and on to the side.
00:15Finally, because putting the power button exactly where your pinky naturally rests while you're
00:20reading has never made sense to me. The basic Kindle is now $150 and there's even a $190 aluminum
00:26version. It looks very premium, it's giving iPad mini, except it's still not waterproof. Interesting
00:32priorities. And then we get to the new Paperwhite, but all of the best features are going to be in
00:36the Signature Edition. Amazon added an accelerometer, it added the aluminum frame, it added support for
00:42all of these new magnetic accessories, but it removed standard wireless charging and replaced
00:46it with the optional logo pin charging. Anyway, finally there's also a new Colorsoft, basically the
00:51Paperwhite Signature Edition, but with a color display. Tech is the same, you're getting those
00:56safe upgrades and a slipper design while maintaining eight weeks of battery life. But what do we think?
01:01Is Amazon actually making the Kindle lineup better? Or are some of the trade-offs too much of a turn?
