00:05Now, I mean, Brian Flores is a beast on that side of the football with his defense.

00:15but still the job that that Vikings defense did, I mean, they're just sensational.
00:21Kyler Murray, can he make them a formidable team
00:24if they can get any kind of quarterback play?
00:28It's so funny that we're in the NFL right now, and you know this.
00:32Like, you get fascinated with these incredible talents at the quarterback position
00:35and guys who are otherworldly, but sometimes incredible coaching
00:38and putting guys in successful situations and then surrounding them with talent
00:42is all you need to win football games.
00:44Carson Wentz was an MVP candidate player when he was in his prime.
00:48Now, he's not that player anymore, but he can win you football games
00:51if you put him in situations to do so.
00:53Brian Flores, like you mentioned, is a master class defensive coordinator,
00:56but Kevin O'Connell as well is a fantastic offensive-minded head coach,
01:01gives quarterbacks everything they need.
01:02I mean, Sam Darnold won this team 15 games two years ago
01:05and got himself paid and then went and won a Super Bowl in Seattle
01:08because of the same sort of system.
01:09So I think Kyler obviously does give them the better flashy quarterback option
01:13to win games and probably has better longevity.
01:17But right now, I would stick with Wentz.
01:18He has a good connection with Justin Jefferson.
01:20That defense, as you mentioned, is just diabolical to prepare for.
01:24I mean, that game was gross.
01:25The weather was awful, but the Vikings are the top of the NFC North
01:29like we all expected going into week three of the regular season, right?
01:32But the way Flores gets these guys ready to run around,
01:35and like I said, this offense has the pieces necessary to win you games
01:39as long as the quarterback doesn't just throw the game away.
01:41So I would stick with Wentz if I was the Vikings,
01:44but it'll be interesting to see what they do down the road
01:46if this winning continues.

01:52have five prime games, or four prime games for people to watch this year.
01:57We're going to get the greatness of Michael Penix.
01:59He'll be starting on Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.

02:38Obviously, the Packers didn't win in week one, too.
02:40So, interesting game for Thursday night football.
02:44If I had to choose a side right now, Dan, I'd probably take that 6.5 with the Packers.
02:47But they have not inspired me whatsoever on that side either.
02:52So, it's going to be a gross one on Thursday night.
02:54Obviously, all eyeballs is going to be on Penix in his return.
02:56And hopefully, he can have this Atlanta offense looking serviceable.
