01:41Nancy Gantz wants to see that lowered to 70. She argues that for many people who are 70 or older,
01:46it's hard for them to find a way to the courthouse and having performed a lifetime of civic duties, they
01:51deserve a break so they can spend time with their families.
01:53A similar proposal failed recently in Rhode Island after it was opposed by groups including the American Civil Liberties Union,
02:00which argued that having a diverse jury pool is a cornerstone of the jury trial system.
