Kramer Plays Doctor with a Deli Slicer on Seinfeld

George arranges free skin-cancer screenings at work and somehow decides Kramer is the man for the job. Enter Dr. Martin van Nostrand, a supposedly Juilliard-trained dermatologist whose examination of Mr. Kruger unexpectedly turns serious when he spots a suspicious mole.

George suggests the obvious solution — send Kruger to a real doctor. Kramer, however, refuses to abandon a patient who now trusts him and starts considering a decidedly less conventional medical option involving his newest kitchen gadget.

Seinfeld turned ordinary problems into spectacularly questionable solutions, with Kramer’s many alter egos and George’s schemes creating some of the sitcom’s most absurd situations.
