00:49i'm told that i'm fortunate i got the one question out of 13 submitted today to the prime minister
00:59would would the prime minister advise this house as to when the new central bloc
01:05at the port of spain general hospital will be operationalized opposition mp stuart young as
01:11he sought an update in the house of representatives we are working on the additional staffing
01:16outfitting and program development the minister of health together with unicott has advised
01:23that these works early identified are far from advanced and will be nearing completion when the
01:31minister will then give us further details so i hope we have a team working to get that block up
01:35and running once and for all mp young later returned to the issue when he posed the question on another
01:41matter to the health minister to the minister of health in light of your previous response to this
01:51house that the central block would be open in july of this year why is the honorable prime minister now
01:57saying she doesn't know when it would be open that's an entirely different question member do you have
02:03any other supplemental questions okay but when the prime minister first responded to the question posed
02:11to her reference was made to the former government your administration turned the sod for the port of
02:18spain central block which cost about 1.3 billion dollars and when you turn that sod to open it
02:24on march 10th 2025 one of the biggest charades was perpetrated on the people of tnt when a practical
02:35completion ceremony whatever that means was held an apparent reference to a ceremony which occurred
02:42shortly before the general election on april 28th 2025 today this member is asking quest this question
03:16the prime minister had more to say on the matter and so they moved equipment and furniture and so on
03:23to another stage to another home one facility to another so they could put on an outfit one floor
03:29at that central block to give the impression that the facility was completing and about to be
03:37operationalized this is tantamount some may say and i will not accuse you of it but some may say
03:42this is tantamount of fraud of the highest order
