00:15This as London missed out to Nairobi in a bid to host the event.
00:19It means an African city will host it for the first time,
00:23with the decision being confirmed at a World Athletics Council meeting in Budapest.
00:27According to World Athletics President Sebastian Co, Nairobi presented a compelling and emotional bid.
00:34Switching to the beautiful game, Felipe Coutinho has joined Santos FC,
00:39where he is expected to team up with close friend Neymar until the end of the season.
00:44The former Liverpool and Barcelona midfielder was without a club since leaving Vasco de Gama in February.
00:51Coutinho returned to Vasco de Gama in 2024, but left after 81 appearances, saying he was tired mentally.
00:59And finally, the Pizza Hut Promenade Chess Club I Love Chess Grand Tour has completed five out of seven stops,
01:06which means two more remain.
01:09The players last competed at the Gulfview branch on September 11th,
01:13with the next stop being Pizza Hut in South Park on Friday, September 18th from 6pm to 10pm.
01:20And the final stop is the Prize Plaza branch in Chaguanas on Republic Day,
01:25where the prize-giving ceremony will also take place.
01:28Several prizes are on offer, with the overall champion taking home 10,000 TT dollars.
