00:00You tell me what you saw on Sunday night with the Giants.
00:04To me, what I saw, Kev, I saw the Giants and the influence already of John Harbaugh at the line
00:12of scrimmage.
00:13They just look better than Dallas on both sides of the football, offensive line-wise and also defensive line-wise.
00:20And I thought that that was really the difference in that game.
00:23I thought the Giants beat the Cowboys up in that game Sunday night.
00:28I don't think you're wrong, but I just can't get over the performance from Dallas.
00:33That is, I think they had the most concerning performance maybe of any team relative to expectations.
00:39The Browns were awful, but the Browns are supposed to be awful.
00:43The Chargers had an embarrassing loss, but sometimes you were like, oh, we're much better than this team.
00:49We were looking ahead.
00:50Dallas, we're talking trash coming into this game.
00:53They understood the importance of this game.
00:55Dak Prescott is saying we're the greatest offense there is.
00:58Okay.
00:59The defense is promising everybody it's going to be much, much better this year.
01:03And the tweet from Shiel Kapadia is that by EPA, this was the Cowboys' worst defense from last year.
01:11Only once were they worse than this defensively.
01:14Well, that's not good because they were the worst defense in football last year.
01:18And the offense was bad.
01:20Well, that, okay, so we didn't.
01:23And Brandon Aubrey missed an extra point.
01:24So guess what?
01:25We were bad in all three phases, guys.
01:27That's a, I thought Dallas was number one draft pick on the, on the very, very concerning performance board.
01:35Wow.
01:36That's really a telling statement there.
01:38You'll have to help me out here.
01:40The last time I've seen this, both New York teams won.
01:44Fireman Ed must be pounding his head here with this thing here with the hammer.
01:47I mean, what did I see here?
01:49The Jets get a victory and I'm telling you, Kevin, they actually look pretty decent on offense there with Gino.
01:55Yeah, they did.
01:57Yankee fans trying to steal a little bit of the shine because the last time was 09.
02:01That's when the last time the Yankees won the world series.
02:03They're like, look at this.
02:05New York is back.
02:06I, Dan, I don't want to put you in a spot, but Cam Ward, it's not great.
02:16It's not.
02:17And I thought he was exciting coming out.
02:20I thought he was an obvious first overall pick.
02:21But I remember his draft, you know, weekend very, very well in that people said, man, this isn't fair.
02:29No one's talking about him.
02:30We're just talking about Shador.
02:32Cam Ward should be sending Shador Sanders hundreds of dollars in thank you money that nobody talks about Cam Ward.
02:40I don't know if he's played well once yet in his NFL career.
02:45I'm going to tell you, here's my take on him.
02:47My problem with quarterbacks that come out only playing 12 or 13 ballgames, and that's the only sample size you
02:55have, really, on a big-time level of what you see with those guys, like a Mitchell Trubisky a couple
03:00years ago.
03:00Remember, he didn't really have a lot of time there at UNC.
03:04Or you see a Trey Lance.
03:06Those guys who don't really have a lot of playing experience in college, to me, sometimes that shows up in
03:15the NFL.
03:15Well, look at Brock Purdy, Kevin.
03:17Brock Purdy had 38 starts at Iowa State.
03:2138 starts.
03:22And you see how he can see the progressions in a defense.
03:27You can see how he can throw the football.
03:29I'm with you on Cam Ward.
03:31I just, I don't know what Brian Dable is going to do.
03:34I don't know what kind of strength that he has.
03:37It's probably going to have to be more on his wheels.
03:38But you're right.
03:40I don't see it right now.
03:41I just don't.
03:41Yeah, I think Cam Ward might be kind of in this debate of, should we start guys right away?
03:49Like, if you're the Raiders, right?
03:51And if you have anybody in that organization that's like, you must start, Fernando.
03:55It's like, it'd be great for Cam Ward to probably sit down.
03:59But you can't bench the first overall pick when you've been playing him this entire time.
04:05And I, you know, when I do, you know, the night show with Gabe Arenci, he's not wrong when he
04:12says, like, we give up on quarterbacks too easily.
04:14I don't think he's wrong about that.
04:16But it's also the truth.
04:18So, when I, I'm not saying that they need to get rid of Cam Ward.
04:22What I'm saying is, if this team has a top three pick, they're going to get rid of Cam Ward.
04:27Like, I think that, especially when you change the entire organization around the, and they didn't draft the kid.
