00:00A lot, you know, obviously we're disappointed. We thought we had a pretty good team this year, but we didn't
00:05obviously live up to expectations.
00:07But having said that, we had some positives, you know, we had a couple scores from Fletch, you know, we
00:10had some good bowling and our own performances from Dashoon, as well as Wanu.
00:15So, you know, I mean, so those performances really stood up for us, you know, just unfortunately we didn't get
00:18over the line here today, which would have taken us through.
00:21Reflecting on the tournament, he says they need to find ways to win in pressure moments for future tournaments.
00:27Yeah, the two games against Jamaica, I thought we should have done a lot better against Jamaica. We should have
00:30probably won both of them.
00:31You know, we had a close game against Antigua. Unfortunately, we had one reno game as well, which we have
00:35no control over.
00:36But I think all in all, you know, we had a few games to win, which we didn't win.
00:39You know, my last two seasons here, you know, pretty much the same story. We came close, but we haven't
00:43quite gotten over the line.
00:44So I think it's on reflection for the franchise. We've really got to look at some ways to get over
00:48the line.
00:49Trident's captain Chris Green, meanwhile, gave credit to Quinton DeCock for taking them to victory.
00:53Yeah, look, I think the consistent factor in the three home games has been our bowling performance.
00:58Really proud of our efforts. It's been different bowlers stepping up at crucial times.
01:03And I think as a whole collective group, we've bonded really nicely.
01:07So we've got a really good blueprint to that's been successful at home here and hopefully we can keep that
01:13going.
01:13And then the last two games with the bat, the cricketing smarts and where the senior player in Quinton DeCock
01:18really stood up and anchored that innings.
01:20And other players have chipped in around him. So, yeah, full credit to Quinny in getting us over the line
01:26there.
01:26And like I said, really proud of our performance the last two games.
01:29He says the focus is now on qualifying for the playoffs.
01:32Yeah, look, I still think we haven't quite played our best cricket. We're playing really good cricket and we're playing
01:38good cricket here at home.
01:39And it's so important to play good cricket at your home leg, throwing that finals here as well.
01:44So we said at the start of the tournament, the home team wants to be there for finals and qualify
01:49and have that home crowd, home ground advantage.
01:51And we're one step closer to that. So, um, inch by inch, game by game, and we keep getting better
01:57and better, hopefully.
