00:00In this video, I will show you how to change the DNS server in Chrome on your laptop.
00:06So I'll be showing you where to find Chrome's DNS settings and how to switch to a different
00:10DNS provider. Before we do continue, make sure to leave a like, comment below,
00:15and subscribe to the channel for more Google Chrome tutorials and easy tech guides.
00:20So to do this, what you want to do first is open up a new Google Chrome browser.
00:25And once you've done that, if you come up to the top right hand corner of Google Chrome,
00:28click onto the three dots to open this menu. And from here, you want to come and click onto
00:33your settings. Once you're in your settings, come over to the menu on the left hand side
00:37and click onto privacy and security. Then in the privacy and security section,
00:43you want to come down and click onto security. And from here, if you scroll down on this page,
00:47you're going to see an option where you can select your DNS provider. So you want to make sure you
00:52secure DNS turned on. And once you've done that, if you click onto the dropdown box here,
00:57you can change to any of the available DNS providers. So personally, I prefer to use
01:02cloudflare 1.1.1.1. I just find it to be the fastest and best DNS server, but you can
01:08see we've
01:09got things like a clean browsing with a family filter, and you can also add your own custom
01:13DNS service provider as well, if you want to. So that's how to change the DNS server on Google
01:18Chrome on your laptop. Make sure to like comment and subscribe for more Google Chrome and simple tech
01:24tutorials. And with that being said, I will see you in the next video.
