07:11So we are checking out these four Ninja Turtles today.
07:15Actually, we are going to compare these Ninja Turtles with the Lego Ninja Turtles and check out each of them.
07:22So first we are going to compare this Donatello with this Donatello.
07:27Obviously, we can see that this one looks a lot more like the cartoon figures, the cartoon from the late
07:3580's than this one does.
07:36But this one is kind of cool because we know it is a Lego mini figure.
07:41So it is a little bit of difference.
07:44It depends what you want.
07:46So check out this Donatello here.
07:48He's got, of course, his purple mask.
07:51He's got the eyes and everything.
07:54He looks super happy.
07:55I mean, these look so similar to the Ninja Turtles of the initial cartoon that they really did a good
08:04job.
08:04Now, I believe these are Mega Bloks.
08:06So these are made by Mega Bloks, made by Mattel.
08:09Now, look at this.
08:10We even have the D for Donatello down there.
08:13We've got the little belt.
08:15Now, a lot of these pieces are rubber.
08:17They might be silicone, so this mask is rubber.
08:19And I think you can take it off, but I don't want to because they look weird when you take
08:24it off.
08:24I'll just be honest.
08:25Now, we also have their arm straps, wrist guards, their knee guards.
08:31And then, of course, he has his bow staff as well, which looks like it's real wood.
08:37On the back, he's got shiny green shell.
08:39And he's got a hole right there, so I think we can put things in there.
08:42And we can, I think, take all these bands off if we wanted to, which I don't because it'll take
08:46a while to put back on.
08:49So there's also points of articulation.
08:51The head turns back and forth.
08:54The arms, you can see they articulate right there.
08:57They also articulate right there.
08:59We can also twist the wristbands.
09:01Three points of articulation each on each of the arms.

09:06And then the legs, there's two points as well, each way.

09:11So these little things, given how small they are, really have a lot, a lot of detail, which is super

09:17Now, let's compare it with this guy right here.
09:21Donatello the Lego.
09:23And Donatello the Lego, well, he just looks different, let's be honest.
09:27He has this head that, you know, doesn't really look like a cartoon head.
09:33Kind of a giant head.
09:35But it is minifigure.
09:36So if you like Lego, these ones are awesome to collect.
09:38You can see the shell is gray.
09:40There's not much movement here, of course.
09:43I don't know what else to say other than we know that this is not what they look like.
09:48But it is cool to have Lego forms of these.
09:50Another thing is these stand up better than the other ones.
09:54The other one, oh, as they fall down.
09:56No, these really do stand up better.
09:59These ones are tough.
10:00You've got to get it perfectly right to get it to stand up.
10:05Hold on, almost there, there we go.
10:07So each of them do have their own quirks and it depends on what you like best.
10:11Next we have Michelangelo versus Lego Michelangelo.
10:16So you can see the differences up front here.
10:20Now let's take this one for a second.
10:23So Mikey always is accustomed to orange.
10:25It's like a yellowish type of orange here.
10:28But again, these look really, really close to the cartoon.
10:33I really like the belt, how they even got the M on there.
10:37And the belt looks exactly like you see it in the cartoon.
10:40And they even got the nunchucks right.
10:41I mean, Mattel did a really good job with these Mega Bloks getting them to look as good as they
10:48could
10:48and as similar as they could to the actual cartoon.
10:51These are like classic Mega Bloks here.
10:54Or this is a classic edition.
10:56So even the nunchucks, I know they're a little bit bigger than what he'd use or at least to handle.
11:00But at least, look at this, the chain's good.
11:03He's got two handles.
11:04And they give us two of them, which is super cool.
11:07You can even see the feet are cool.
11:09And then on the bottom here, these are the holes that they can correlate to the protrusions from Mega Bloks
11:14things.
11:16And then we've got the shiny shell right here.
11:19Now also, with each belt, they've got a loop.
11:22So he's got two loops.
11:23You can take these nunchucks and put them back in these loops here.
11:28So let's compare this with our Lego Michelangelo.
11:35And he still looks like a funny turtle.
11:37Look, he's got his tongue sticking out.
11:39And still looks happy and everything.
11:41He's got the orange.
11:42They only give him one orange mask.
11:45And that's pretty much it.
11:46See how much more orange there is here?
11:47Look how bright he is.
11:49And also, they make all the Ninja Turtles in Lego like the same color of green.
11:56Whereas, these are a bit bright.
11:59I guess they make them the same color too.
12:01In the series, they're different shades of green.
12:04And then look, he only has one nunchuck.
12:06It's this one right here.
12:08So we can pull this out of this hand.
12:10And this nunchuck, the chain's really long.
12:13But the handle is, I think, very interesting type of a nunchuck here.
12:20He does have the knee pads though, so that's super cool.
12:22Next, we have Raph.
12:24And right off the bat, it's the weapons, his size, that are the coolest.
12:30Obviously, I like these size a lot better.
12:33And we can see that he's got all of his bands up.
12:37These can move.
12:37You can see this one got pushed down.
12:39This should be all the way up on his arm up here.
12:43And not down there.
12:45Actually, this should be over his, I think, elbow right there.
12:48There we go.
12:49Now it's a little bit better.
12:50So these do kind of move around.
12:52That's one little drawback when you're playing with them.
12:55But let me show you the Psy.
12:57Look how cool this is.
12:58Look how detailed it is.
13:00They even made this handle brown.
13:03And the rest of the Psy looked metallic.
13:06So that's super cool.
13:07He's got a grr on his face.
13:10Because he's Raph.
13:11He's always kind of growling.
13:14He's kind of has, we'll just say, some anger issues.
13:17Then on the back, he's got the shiny shell.
13:20And of course, he has the R right here on his belt dressed in red.
13:27Let's compare him to this Raphael.
13:30Now this one's interesting.
13:32He's not growling.
13:34He looks like super happy.
13:35Look at him.
13:36He's got the face that he's smiling and everything.
13:39Oh, and another thing is that these are kind of painted on.
13:43These masks are.
13:44So unlike the Mega Bloks one, which you can take them off, you can take this mask off.
13:50Which I'm not going to.
13:52But I know you can.
13:53Because I've done.

13:54Well, we'll do it.
13:55See how weird they look without the masks?
13:57Look.
13:57Look like weirdo turtles.

14:01Now this one, you can't take this mask off or any of them.

14:07They made a valid effort.
14:08But not nearly as cool or as authentic looking as the other size.

14:17And everything that comes with it.
14:19Last but not least, we have the Leonardo Clan.
14:23The Leonardo Mega Bloks versus the Lego Leonardo.
14:28So now let's check out the Mega Bloks version really quick.
14:33Leo looks super cool.
14:35Of course, oh, this one, see, rolled up as well.
14:38Got to roll this back.
14:40Make sure that his elbow pad is in the proper position.
14:44So he can bend his elbow properly.
14:47And look, he's got like a little grill on him.
14:49He looks happy on this side.
14:51Looks like he's ready to rock on this side.
14:54And of course, he has his two katana swords.
14:58Again, really cool.
15:00Brown handle.
15:01Silver sword.
15:02Looks really cool.
15:03And these actually snap into his hands okay.
15:07Now, the other thing is that I should mention is that you can see his L there.
15:14It almost looks like a D, but that's an L, of course, for Leo that he has.
15:18And then the shiny green shell on the back.
15:20So everything for all the ninja shrubs is probably the same other than the little bands, their
15:24weapons, and their facial expressions for the Mega Bloks collection.
15:30And now we've got the Lego collection again.
15:33Well, he's got like a huge growl on his face.
15:36But he's the leader, probably worried about a whole bunch of things always.
15:39So not going to be happy all the time.
15:42Now, he has a blue mask that is wrapped around and it is stuck to his head as well.
15:49His katana swords, they are cool, don't get me wrong, but if you look at them.
15:54And the handles are detailed, but it's just cooler to see that brown handle on the other
15:59ones, which is a lot more fun.
16:01Then he's got these, the straps around here, the knee pads.
16:06Oh, yeah, we can also pivot them.
16:07So their points of articulation of the head, obviously, can move.
16:11The arms can move.
16:11Wrists can move.
16:12And, of course, the legs can move as well.
