00:00All right. Actually, we just finished up 2026 season. I always felt like the week after a couple of different
00:07things would happen for me on tour. Number one, I would be exhausted or try to catch up on sleep,
00:12try to do some things around the house that I've been putting off the whole year. But also, too, I
00:16would kind of get with my team, whether it's looking at stats, seeing, you know, whether it's I need to
00:21put a plan together for the following year.
00:23But it's always a great time for just open reflection. Have you had any time to kind of do that
00:29yet? Sit down and kind of reflect on the year that was in 2026?
00:34Yeah, I think like by myself, I have obviously winning is an amazing accomplishment each year if you can do
00:45that.
00:45Yeah, I think that's when you look at like someone like Dustin who won every season for 20 straight seasons
00:52or whatever he did. It's pretty incredible. So that was a big achievement for me.
00:58I think everything else in between was pretty much mediocre. And, you know, I think there's the main thing that
01:08I need to focus on, which is just to become a better driver.
01:12I think to compete in big events and be top 10 in the world, that's a major factor. I think
01:18you look at most of the guys who are top 10 in the world and they're elite drivers, whether they
01:23hit it long or you look at a guy like Russell Henley who hits it, you know, he's the straightest
01:28driver on tour.
01:29So that's a big, big thing I really need to work on. And I think I mentioned in another podcast,
01:36you know, worth ethic is something I take pride in.
01:41I think I enjoy practicing and but I think being more strict and diligent in what I'm doing is something
01:50that I'm looking forward to to kind of have that that plan in place to where I'm not, you know,
01:57kind of going through motion sometimes.
01:58Because I think that can definitely happen when, you know, you're at tournament, you're pretty regimented. And then when you
02:04get home, you're kind of, what do I really need to work on? So yeah, there's a couple of things
02:09that, you know, I'm excited for this offseason. And then to really train really hard with my trainer and try
02:16and gain some speed, some mass, protect my body a little more. So yeah, it's a lot of good things
02:23coming this offseason.
02:24And you're only 24 years old. You know, I don't know why I think of you as like almost somebody
02:30who's 27, 28. Maybe it's because you've been a pro for so long. And I've seen you over the course
02:36of the last five or six years play on the PGA Tour. Do you, do you feel like you finally
02:40have that footing and, and just experience that you're at a stage of life where you're married, you got, we've
02:46already talked about the dogs that you got running around the house, but it just like consistency in your life.
02:51Do you, do you sense that? And do you feel that's going to be helpful as you move towards next
02:56year where you're not in a state of getting ready for a marriage or wedding, I should say, but all
03:03the parts of life that, that were happening to you at an early age?
03:07Yeah, I think, you know, I've definitely feel like I've established this lifestyle a lot faster than most. Um, obviously
03:17being out, you know, around guys for a long time and playing professional golf for seven years is, um,
03:23Dude, that's a wild thing to say, man. You got so much experience at this point.
03:29Yeah, I think I've learned so much each year. I think how to, you know, how to manage a team,
03:35who do I want, you know, on my team, um, the balance of life, what's really important, I think is
03:42something I'm still trying to figure out because I am a golf sicko, um, when it comes to all is
03:48wanting to practice and not being able to sit home.
03:50So, um, there's, yeah, plenty of things that I think I've learned so fast. And, um, I said this in,
03:57again, the last podcast I did, but, uh, I think it was when Jackson won, um, they listed, you know,
04:03the youngest winners on tour.
04:05Yeah.
04:06And I think I like was just off that list. I think Sergio was the last one at like 21
04:11and four months. And I think I was like 21 and five months and I didn't make the list. And
04:17that made me upset because it's like, man, am I really like,
04:20not relevant in the younger guys. Um, you're old for it now, man. Yeah. Uh, so that was funny, but
04:27yeah, I think again, it's, you learn so much each year. Um, yeah. And I have a lot of really
04:34good people and being in Jupiter, I have a lot of, you know, vets that I can rely on when
04:38it comes to, you know, small changes and stuff.
04:40Um, yeah, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
04:40uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
04:40uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
04:41uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
04:41uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
04:41uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh
