00:00uh you know just majors in general i know that's something that is going to be on your mind as

00:05head into the the bulk of the season and for you winning at api it's obviously one of the biggest
00:10events on the calendar year how much how much uh confidence does that give you actually heading
00:15into these four majors which i know are important to you yeah i mean it shows a lot uh i
00:22proved a
00:22lot to myself i i said in my interview like i didn't really i think i always believed i could
00:27do it but it's always hard when you you literally i've literally felt like i was going to throw up
00:32the whole day and to feel those nerves to win at bay hill which is a obviously a very demanding
00:38golf course firm greens uh you know tricky pins it proved a lot to myself that i can do it
00:45when i
00:45don't have my best stuff i mean i hit 18 i think it was like 18 fairways uh the whole
00:51week you know
00:52yeah and so it proved a lot i think again having joe kind of maneuver me around golf courses that
00:59are hard is better because again like patience is such a big thing which is easy to lose sight of
01:06when you're not playing well and you're trying to press um but yeah i think the way i'm practicing now
01:13uh having a good idea identity with everything uh and it's just literally you know i keep doing the
01:21same thing and keep doing what i'm doing that's joe always reminds me that um and then you just got
01:26to you know just got to happen really you can't force it but yeah i'm excited for the majors i've
01:31i've figured a lot of stuff out at the open last year with my coach uh i guess i think
01:36again more and
01:37more you play it the the better you'll have an understanding of it and uh shinnecock i think will
01:42be very similar conditions to arnold palmer with the greens um so i'm excited for for that that week as
01:48well so yeah a lot of uh exciting stuff coming my way i'm i'm just happy that um you know
01:55the year
01:55started out really bad with two missed cuts to now yeah get you get you shaping up you gotta get
02:00that
02:01talk from presley all of a sudden uh good in a good mental frame of mind you got joe helping
02:05you on the
02:05bag uh and of course good golf takes care of a lot i know you want to be on that
02:09president's cup at
02:10the end of the year wear the red white and blue um so i hope to see you up there
02:14in chicago too but
02:15i think you got a ton of great golf heading your way actually it's always fun to watch you out

02:30i can't believe it's only a couple months in you know but um it's flying by man it's a quarter
02:35of the way through the season before you know we're gonna be at the uh tour championship i know so
02:41yeah a lot of great stuff coming up and i'm just uh happy to be in this position now
