00:02Just ask Bulldog for some friendly fantasy advice, and he just blew me off completely.
00:11You just randomly gave me this versus this, this versus that.
00:17I had no idea what the hell you were talking about, and I'm not even real sure.
00:21I still do, actually.
00:24We're going to take the Raiders.
00:25Raiders defense.
00:26It's almost time for me to get to the casino.
00:30I can't forget to do that.
00:31I can't forget to get to the Seneca Buffalo Creek for those survivor picks.
00:35I've got to do that.
00:36We will not forget.
00:37I might forget.
00:38I have to get down there and do that every week until I'm out.
00:42Sally, any survivor pools this year?
00:44I remember being in one with you for a couple years there.
00:48Oh, yeah.
00:48Yeah, I run one for my Twitter followers and give away a couple of cool things,
00:55and then I also am in a couple myself, including that.
00:58But, yeah, I am.
00:58I'm in both, a survivor pool and death pool every year.
01:02So it is different, for sure.
01:03What's the difference?
01:03When you have to pick the winner, the other half.
01:05Well, one, you have to pick the winner.
01:06Okay.
01:06The other half to pick a loser.
01:08All right.
01:09So death pool is then when you have to pick a loser.
01:12And you can probably only use a team once, right, in each?
01:15Correct.
01:15I think the loser pool or death pool is harder than the survivor pool.
01:19Because in a survivor pool, you can pick against the bad teams every week,
01:23and generally you're going to get a new team to pick.
01:25In a death pool slash loser pool, you can't pick the worst teams every week
01:30because you're going to run out of them, and you've already picked them.
01:33Yep.
01:33Plus, week one is a little challenging, I would think, for that.
01:37You have Jets-Titans.
01:38Yep.
01:39And you have Dolphins-Raiders, two games where both teams are coming off really bad seasons.
01:44So no gimme's there.
01:47I am probably eyeing the Cardinals-Chargers, so I'll go with the Chargers most likely there.
01:54As the winner.
01:55All right.
01:55Yeah.
01:56So today we have, we don't have a practice to talk about, but we've got the depth chart from the
02:02Bills.
02:03Most interesting thing, would it maybe be Keon Coleman?
02:07No, not for me.
02:08Okay.
02:09I think the most interesting thing for me is having Dee Alford listed as the punt returner.
02:13We didn't get to that on the air, but I noticed that when I, you know, went to the bottom
02:18of the page.
02:19I'm like, oh, oh, okay.
02:21I mean, obviously they're going to have someone that's on the roster in that spot, right?
02:25I mean, and I think I saw you tweeting about this too.
02:27Like, there's nothing to stop them from elevating Greg Dortch and having him be their punt returner,
02:31but he's not on the active roster, and those elevations won't happen until Saturday, 4 p.m., right?
02:39Exactly.
02:39And I think what's even more interesting about that is it's not just the Greg Dortch part.
02:43It's all of a sudden, here comes Dee Alford as the punt returner when it was Ray Davis the first
02:48three weeks of the preseason listed and doing it.
02:51And then we really didn't see Dee Alford.
02:54Did he even have a preseason punt return?
02:56I have to go, well, look, I don't think he did, but he might have had one.
02:58I know he can do it.
03:00And suddenly he kind of came out of nowhere here for this.
03:02Not that he's come out of nowhere as a punt returner.
03:04He's done it.
03:05I noted that he did it.
03:0620 punt returns, I think, in his career.
03:08But this is new.
03:10Like, I have kind of been thinking about what's going to happen in that first game.
03:15And it could very well be Greg Dortch.
03:16No doubt about it.
03:17But as of right now, you know, just looking at the depth chart, the way it's listed, Dee Alford.
03:23I'll say this about Keon Coleman.
03:25I mean, I think a depth chart's a depth chart.
03:27They can, you know, kind of put it out however they want.
03:30There are three wide receivers listed as starters.
03:33And more in Coleman on the outside.
03:35Coleman over Joshua Palmer.
03:37Yeah, I could probably see, you know, that it should have been Palmer in my eyes.
03:41And maybe he is the first one on the field before Keon Coleman.
03:43But I think a lot of times with wide receivers, they're just a little bit more interchangeable when it comes
03:47to this sort of thing.
03:48Okay.
03:50Yeah.
03:50Yeah, Alford, 20 returns three seasons ago.
03:55And that's it.
03:56I mean, last year, he's listed.
03:57He might have had a kickoff return or something.
03:59And when Davis muffed the punt against Pittsburgh, I think it was either with a conversation we had with you
04:06or we were on in the morning after that.
04:09And we're asked, like, is that the kind of – Joe asked you this question.
04:12Is that the kind of one play that can really change their minds?
04:16And you said, yeah, like, that's that big.
04:19Like, that's points against.
04:20So we did talk about this because I made the point about why do you have anybody do it?
04:25But, yes, you were right in sort of thinking that they might really punish him for that.
04:32Yeah, I mean, look, you can – I think that if you make a wow return, if you have a
04:37wow play, you're not going to necessarily make the team or be the entrenched starter.
04:41And, oh, my God, we've got to keep the guy.
04:42But you make a big mistake, that hurts you more than making a big play helps you, if that makes
04:46sense.
04:46Because teams just – they do not want – in a situation like that, you cannot lose the ball.
04:51And the biggest thing for me, this was right on the heels of, I had asked Joe Brady at the
04:57Cleveland joint practice.
04:59I said, what is the most important thing for you?
05:02What are you looking for in a punt returner?
05:03And he said, get the ball back.
05:05That's what he said.
05:06If you muff it, then you don't get the ball back.
05:08And they just – they want to make sure you don't make a mistake there.
05:11That is a – that is the type of play that can cost you a football game.
05:15Now, it doesn't have to be an indictment on Ray Davis' career.
05:17Lots of great, you know, Hall of Fame players have had a muffed punt, you know, in their life.
05:21That happens.
05:23But with a guy here that's so inexperienced and he hadn't done it since high school and he really wants
05:29the job and he's trying to win the job,
05:32he has to do everything right to win that job.
05:35So, I still wonder if their main punt returner is kind of settled.
05:39This might be an evolving thing throughout the year.
05:41Could be D. Alford this week, could be Greg Dorch next week, could be Ray Davis, could be Khalil Shakir.
05:46I'm not really sure how they go about this, but I do think that Ray Davis muffing that punt hurt
05:51his chances to be that guy.
05:53Well, I'll just say again what I said last week when we talked about this, when they claimed Dorch.
05:58I wonder how much of it will come down to, maybe it's even opponent-specific, Sal.
06:04Do we have something that this guy can do for us on offense against this team?
06:08And if we do, if it's a half a dozen snaps or whatever, at least it gives them, I think
06:15it validates the decision to use him as your punt returner.
06:17I, myself, I don't have to be right about this, but I would, A, I would be surprised if they
06:23dressed him only to return punts.
06:26And I would say that I'm in favor.
06:28I don't want to either just dress him to return punts.
06:31I think if he's going to be on the 53 on a game day, or active on a game day,
06:36I need something to decide.
06:38I know it's important, but man, if all I need to do is make sure I catch the ball, just
06:44get me somebody else back there.
06:45I'm not burning a roster spot on this guy.
06:48Totally understand.
06:49And I do think this week, we'll find out more tomorrow, the Khalil Shakir injury, not seeing him at practice
06:58for a while here is going to matter.
06:59So if we go out there tomorrow and Khalil Shakir's not practicing, I think that much, that pendulum really starts
07:06to swing towards Greg Dorch.
07:08Sure, because he's up, yeah, slot is his spot, I think, right?
07:11So you've got Skylar Bell there and him, and you might feel you need to have a second guy if
07:16Shakir isn't able to go.
07:18I totally agree with that.
07:18That's right.
07:19And if you go out there and Khalil Shakir is practicing, and it feels like he gets a couple of
07:24days in, you still might want to have a little bit more, you know, in case of emergency here, let's
07:29make sure we have a guy in the roster.
07:30Now, you only get three of these elevations, but other injuries are going to play into this, guys.
07:34And right now, they're down to safeties, basically, through practice, Jalen Kilgore and Jordan Hancock.
07:41And with the, you know, only three outside boundary corners saying, well, you could always put D'Alfred there.
07:47Well, one of the thoughts there is Jordan Hancock is very good at making, you know, you could put him
07:50in at nickel.
07:51So I just think this has to evolve this week.
07:53And, you know, and we'll see where it goes, but these injuries are going to matter about who they elevate.
07:57Right, because Hancock was another guy that was on that list last week, right?
08:01That's right.
08:01He missed some time.
08:02So, yeah, I wonder, Sal, the last thing on this, on the punt returner, for me anyways, I wonder if
08:09they did get to a spot where they really valued Dorch.
08:14Let's say he gets an opportunity, whether it's Sunday in Houston or not, he impresses as their punt returner.
08:20Could he conceivably leapfrog Skyler Bell to be that second slot guy behind Shakir when he's healthy and Bell maybe
08:31doesn't get a jersey on game days?
08:33It's possible.
08:34I've maintained, I think Skyler Bell dresses, but certainly if they have five healthy wide receivers on the active roster
08:40and they want Greg Dorch, it is certainly conceivable that they only dress five and they go and they don't
08:45have a sixth.
08:46And in that situation, I would think Skyler Bell would probably be the odd man out.
08:49He's really not offering you anything on special teams that, you know, Greg Dorch does.
08:53And then obviously there are other people around the roster that offer you that.
08:56I would say this about Greg Dorch too, whether or not he's active week one, I would pretty much bet
09:02right now he's active week two, because that's against the team that he was not happy about how it went
09:08down in Detroit.
09:09I'll say that like talking with him.
09:10He said it blindsided him.
09:12That's why he didn't stay there.
09:13He went to Buffalo.
09:14But I just think against his former team, whether or not he plays Sunday, I think he's playing next Thursday
09:20night as of right now.
09:21So that's the entirety of his time with Detroit is like this, this summer, right?
09:26After a few years with Arizona, with Sal Capaccio, you know, you said how compared to wide receiver, this punt
09:33return decision on the depth chart versus wide receiver, wide receivers, more interchangeable.
09:37What do you have, if anything, on Coleman over Palmer?
09:40Is it, is it insignificant?
09:42It got to pick somebody.
09:43I mean, I don't know, like Coleman hasn't been healthy anyway, but he gets his name up top.
09:49Uh, the only thing I could probably think of is I think that they would maybe trust Keon Coleman and
09:56run situations, a bigger guy blocking, you know, you can kind of keep them.
10:00You have them out there all times.
10:02Not that you can't put Joshua Palmer out there in those situations, but Keon Coleman played a lot last year.
10:07He was on the field quite a bit.
10:10I mean, you go back and look at last year's snap counts.
10:12I think if he's in the games, he's healthy.
10:14He's pretty much on the field more than any other receiver, essentially.
10:16And a lot of that is because they trust him in the run game, especially as the season went on,
10:20um, especially as his rookie year after the season went on.
10:22And I think that probably could be a little bit of it that they just feel like, you know, he's
10:26a bigger body.
10:26He fits well right there.
10:28But, you know, at the end of the day, if we're talking about, you know, who's getting more targets, Joshua
10:33Palmer feels like he should right now.
10:35Who's on the field more could wind up being Keon Coleman at the end of the day.
10:40All right, Sal, are the captain choices of any significance to you?
10:47Um, no, I always wonder though, and I don't, I don't have this.
10:51We can ask tomorrow.
10:51Maybe did the team, did the players vote generally as a player vote or did Joe Brady just name them?
10:58Like you go to Cleveland and Todd Munkin said, they're not even naming team captains.
11:01They're going to rotate them all year.
11:02Right?
11:02Like that's a choice by the organization, the head coach.
11:05Everybody does it different.
11:06I think Rex Ryan did this where he didn't have team captains.
11:09They rotated every week.
11:10You have two on offense, two on defense, two on special teams.
11:14The bills have had in the past, what?
11:16I think three captains, maybe last year before they went all in many a seven or eight at times.
11:21It's always different.
11:22I'm more interested in like the process of arriving at who it is.
11:26Um, having Sam Franklin Jr.
11:28As a team captain on special teams, I think is significant.
11:31It means that shows you again, how important a player like that is to this roster, that
11:35he's a guy that they really believe in trust in that phase of the game.
11:39No doubt about it.
11:40Bradley Chubb as a defensive captain, his first year in the organization says a lot about what
11:45they feel about him and his leadership.
11:47Uh, no surprise on the offensive side, you know, Josh Allen and Dawson Knox, and you know,
11:51those are the, you're going to make Josh Allen a captain and Dawson Knox kind of screams
11:55that sort of thing.
11:56Um, depth chart wise, just to real quick, go back to that guys.
11:58The only other thing that really kind of, I was looking at and waiting on, it did not
12:03surprise me.
12:04I predicted this Bernard and Dorian Williams as your linebackers.
12:08I, I, I, that doesn't have to be how they line up.
12:11Now, if I'm betting on it, they probably do line up like that.
12:15They line up with Terrell Bernard as your middle linebacker, Dorian Williams as your will linebacker,
12:20but it doesn't have to be that way.
12:21You could get Caleb Elamzor on the field on the first play.
12:23He could be on the first series.
12:25I just want to see how this evolves, but that was the other thing I was watching.
12:28Yeah.
12:28I wonder, Sal, I think I mentioned this, that maybe the games, there wasn't, there
12:34wasn't a lot of pop from Elamzor in the games.
12:37And I, I wonder if, I mean, that's just me, you know, reading about the games, watching
12:42the games, um, and trying to draw conclusions, which again, I mean, good luck.
12:47It's preseason.
12:48Um, but, uh, but I wonder if the bills cooled at all on, on him, it'll be telling maybe
12:54how, how, how much or little he plays starting out here early in the year.
12:59Yeah, for sure.
13:00I mean, Jim Leonard, was it, or Joe Brady?
13:03I think it was Jim Leonard who said, um, you know, they've all earned time and he did not
13:08rule out a possibility of a rotation.
13:10Okay.
13:11I always figured, I always think that's a bit weird at that spot, right?
13:15I mean, your, your, your linebackers are on the field.
13:18Now you can say, okay, maybe in certain, like down in distance, we're going to put Caleb
13:23Elamzor in.
13:23It's just a better matchup, maybe a game to game matchup, whatever a certain team likes
13:27to do.
13:27But that's a, that's a spot to me.
13:29You don't really rotate very often, uh, at linebacker, especially the middle spot.
13:33That's going to be to Robert Bernard.
13:34He's calling the defense.
13:35I mean, heck, you can only have one guy on the field with the, with the green dot on.
13:37He's calling the defense, you know, you come out of the field, another guy with the green
13:40dots going to come on and that all gets a little bit convoluted there.
13:44So, but at that spot, Doreen Williams, Caleb Elamzor, if it is going to be both of them
13:47at the will spot, um, I don't know if I see a rotation, but I wouldn't, I wouldn't doubt
13:51it.
13:52If he gets a series here or there, you get the rookie's feet wet.
13:55You want to see what he can do.
13:56There was an answer during a, um, press conference recently too, about asking Leonard or Brady,
14:03one of them about Caleb Elamzor.
14:05And they mentioned something like he had a really good, he had a really good spring.
14:08They didn't say like, yeah, he's been great this preseason.
14:10Right.
14:10So you, that could very well be it.
14:12You know, you're like, wait, maybe, Hey, we really like them, but we haven't seen the
14:16elevation of what we wanted to over to the first, the three preseason games.
14:18Yeah.
14:19It's interesting to, to center that comment, that compliment on spring.
14:22Cause we're right.
14:23We're long past spring.
14:24We're almost to fall, uh, here.
14:26I got one other thing, at least on, uh, on the depth chart.
14:29And it was what we, I think we led the show talking about it today.
14:32And that's Dalton Kincaid in the number one slot at tight end.
14:35I don't think that's been the case other years.
14:38Has it?
14:38I don't think I've ever noticed that.
14:41Hmm.
14:42I'd have to go back and look at depth charts.
14:44I don't think anybody is questioning if who the number one tight end is on this team.
14:47It's Dalton Kincaid, but they do run so much 12 and even 13 that we're going to see a
14:53lot of all these tight ends on the field.
14:55So I went back and looked last year, the Buffalo bills played the, uh, Houston Texans last year
15:02and the starting offense for the game.
15:05Let me just make sure I have this right.
15:07Again, as I brought it up a little while ago, I was going to bring this up to myself again.
15:09Here we go.
15:10Starting offense who did the very first snap two tight ends, Dawson Knox and Jackson
15:15Hawes were on the field, not Dalton Kincaid.
15:17He missed the game, but the bills did start the game out in 12, but it was Knox and Hawes
15:21in
15:21that game.
15:22They also had two tight ends on the field when they started in Houston two years ago
15:26with, uh, Knox and Kincaid.
15:28I fully expect it.
15:29Like Bulldogs, as we talked about it earlier, cause I'm just, I'm ready to bet a lot of
15:33money that, that Knox is on the field for the first play.
15:36Like I think that, you know, against that team on the road, you know, but we'll see.
15:42Um, sell.
15:44So here we are.
15:45I mean, it's Texans time last week was what did Joe Brady say?
15:49Buffalo versus Buffalo or something?
15:51Like that, but that's, that's dead.
15:53I mean, it's here we go, uh, Houston.
15:57And for all the times we have talked about this game, you know, when the schedule came
16:01out and we know the history, it's not pretty for the bills in that stadium in recent years.
16:06You know, how, how do you feel about the matchup as we get close to it?
16:12It's a tough matchup for the bills.
16:14As I get closer to it, I feel a little bit better from a bills perspective for this one
16:18very reason that the bills are so much different on defense and they can probably do a lot
16:23of things that maybe the Texans aren't quite ready for or prepared for.
16:26And even D'Amico Ryan said that D'Amico Ryan said something like, you know, new defense.
16:29We really don't know what we're going to see.
16:31And I think the bills can try to lean into that a little bit, use that to their advantage.
16:34Maybe just come up with some things that, you know, Houston, come back and look.
16:37And even it's not just a new defense, right?
16:40But it's also a new defensive coordinator.
16:42Who's never been a defensive coordinator in the NFL.
16:44You can't go back five years and see what he did somewhere.
16:47Right.
16:48Right.
16:48Yeah.
16:48We know what to expect from a Jim Leonard defense.
16:51You can say, yeah, he coached under Vance Joseph.
16:53He played under coached under Rex Ryan.
16:54You could do all that.
16:55You can go to his college days at Wisconsin if you want to do that.
16:58But I remember many times talking with bills coaches about this very thing.
17:03They'd be like, yeah, but you know, we know what he did back in when he coached in LA,
17:07you know, six years ago or something.
17:09And we can take some stuff from that.
17:10That's not the case here.
17:11So I think from that perspective, I like it.
17:14It was interesting.
17:15We talked with Mark Vandermeer, the Texans play-by-play guy on always game day in Buffalo
17:19the other day.
17:20And he said, he goes, you know, not from a Texans team standpoint, of course he said,
17:24but it's almost like, because the way that things have gone the last two years, he said,
17:28I'm not going to say like Texans fans are looking past the bills, but it feels like they just
17:32feel like, oh yeah, it's the bills.
17:33We handle them.
17:34We handle Josh Allen.
17:34So I I'm intrigued from that, that standpoint there.
17:38Yeah.
17:38I'm really, really interested to see how soon they, if they need to.
17:43I mean, I, I, I, I would respect, you know, new year, our guys are healthy, you know,
17:49Spencer Brown was not healthy in that game.
17:51And it really showed Dawkins had a tough time too.
17:55Um, and they really left them on islands almost all night, despite how badly it was going.
18:02I I'm, I'm all for trying that again to start the game, just to see like, can our, can our
18:09guys like rise to the challenge, so to speak, but boy, they better have a quick pivot.
18:13In their back pocket.
18:14Cause to my eyes, they really did not last year.
18:17And it's still one of the most confounding things I've ever seen them do.
18:20Cause it was clear that it was hurting them and they just didn't seem to have a fallback
18:27and like, wow, well, let's just hope this rep goes better.
18:30Nope.
18:30Okay.
18:31Let's try it again.
18:32What are we doing?
18:32So they better, I I'd be stunned even more stunned than I was last year.
18:37If there isn't something that they're ready to leave a guy into chip or whatever it takes.
18:43That's right.
18:44And at the end, during that game, of course, what happened, Josh Allen was, you know, just
18:47beaten up sacked a lot.
18:49You can't have that happen this time.
18:51You just can't put your quarterback in that position.
18:52This time you have to do something a little bit different.
18:54Not only do they have Daniel Hunter and they have Willie Anderson, they now have added
18:58Jadavion Clowney and, you know, talking to Mark Vandermeer again, like he said, like
19:02he's going to be a part of the rotation and he's going to be a guy they're going to bring
19:05on in certain situations.
19:06He's going to help them out.
19:07There's a fast defense.
19:09No doubt about it.
19:10I'll tell you this guys.
19:11I think tomorrow we're going to get a little glimpse at this on who's practicing, who's
19:15not.
19:15We talk about Khalil Shakir.
19:16I think Khalil Shakir is very important to this game, but I think Ty Johnson might be even
19:20more important because of everything you're talking about.
19:23Well, this is a third down back.
19:24The bills really trust.
19:26He's a very good pass protector, but also getting the ball out of Josh Allen's hands, giving him
19:31an opportunity to throw the ball to get to one of the running backs out of the backfield.
19:34These guys are coming there.
19:35You're coming off the edge.
19:36Bam.
19:37There's my guy.
19:37I'll just dump it off to him.
19:38Let him kind of do his work.
19:40So I think, I think Ty Johnson is a really important player here.
19:44And if he's going to be available to play for the bills or not, and that's going to start
19:47tomorrow and looking at that injury report.
19:50Reportedly Baker Mayfield and the Bucks have a deal.
19:53That was one where Mayfield had stopped negotiating with Tampa Bay and he would be up after this
19:59year, but reportedly a three-year extension for Mayfield at up to 165 million, you know,
20:06seems like about the going right.
20:09Yes.
20:10Do you have a thought on how the 49ers and Rams are approaching Australia so differently?
20:16Yes.
20:16My thought is there is no one right way.
20:19We can dissect it all we want.
20:21These teams can say they have all of their sports scientists on top of it.
20:25Go back and look.
20:26Some teams have gone to, and I know Australia is different.
20:30I get it.
20:30It's much further away.
20:32Some teams have gone to London or Germany early and won, and some have gone early and
20:37lost.
20:38Some have gone late and won.
20:39Some have gone late and lost.
20:40And I know the bills received a lot of grief for how they, you know, went to London a few
20:43years ago.
20:44I mean, they also, during that game, lost some really key players early in the game.
20:47Maybe it mattered.
20:48I do think they started the game slow and I think Jacksonville was there, but guess what?
20:52Jacksonville's, you know, they, they, they've gone there late and won.
20:55I think the Rams did that.
20:56So I think it's just really what your preference is for your team.
21:01And then you, and then you kind of Monday morning quarterback it, to be honest with you
21:04and say, Oh, I guess we'll do that differently next time.
21:07And we did this the right way.
21:08That's just how it works.
21:09The game I think about is when Rex Ryan was the bills coach and the bills went to Seattle
21:15like the, not the day of, but the, you might've been on that trip the day before the Monday
21:19night game in Seattle.
21:20And that was one where they just, you know, did not acclimate.
21:24They just, Seattle's almost as far as London would be for, you know, the bills in terms
21:28of travel, a little shorter, but still.
21:31And that was how, how Rex did it.
21:32We were talking about this then, you know, 10, 11 years ago, just what the right answer
21:37is.
21:38I mean, and that same year, I think that was the year that the bills flew out to LA played
21:42at the Coliseum.
21:43Nickel, Roby Coleman has a pick six and the bills trounced them.
21:46And I think if I remember right, being on the charter went out two days before that
21:50and LA wasn't as good, but again, here's an example of it just, it's football, right?
21:54I mean, and the bills, by the way, played a good game that night in Seattle and almost
21:57won the game right at the end of the game.
22:00Remember if all that happened, but you're right.
22:01I mean, it's just, it's something that's always going to be talked about and debated.
22:05Yeah.
22:062016, I believe was that game in Seattle.
22:09So that's Richard Sherman assaulting.
22:13Who's the depth receiver at the goal line?
22:15And I forget the name now.
22:17It does not, it's not a super familiar guy, but he was playing in that spot and Sherman
22:25just took all kinds of liberties with him.
22:27Yeah.
22:28It wasn't Andre Roberts, but it was someone.
22:30Yeah.
22:30Walt Powell.
22:31Yeah.
22:32Powell.
22:33Yeah.
22:34Good one.
22:34Had to look it up, but yeah.
22:36And it just was incredible that that wasn't a penalty, but you know, we had our thing,
22:41we did our dance about whether that would be interference as the quarterback in the pocket,
22:45has he thrown the ball yet?
22:46I'm like, you can't just murder somebody out there no matter what.
22:51Because Sherman clapped back about it because he got defensive about people thinking it should
22:55have been a penalty.
22:56Basically, he was like, know the rules.
22:58You don't know the rules.
22:59You can't just destroy a player, you know, defenseless receiver.
23:03You see that called for way less than what that play was, you know, but it was the end
23:08of the game and Seattle was good at home.
23:09He also hit a defenseless kicker in Dan Carpenter that night, I believe.
23:12Yes.
23:13That's right.
23:13Right before halftime.
23:14Is that what that was?
23:15It was a lot of nasty in that game.
23:17That team had that rep, though.
23:19That's the legion of boom.
23:21They were hard-hitting nasty.
23:22I dare you to throw the flag.
23:24Commit fouls until they, you know, just get tired of throwing flags and then you get
23:29away with it.
23:30That's a lot to be said for that.
23:32All right, Sal, thank you.
23:33We'll talk again tomorrow.
23:34All right, you got it, guys.
23:35Thanks.
23:35That's our Sal Capaccio on the Western Hotlines.
