00:00The reason for existence, what was the line?
00:04The sole reason, moving forward, the sole reason for our existence will be to win Stanley Cups.
00:12Do I have to say it again?
00:14You have a player who, this is rare, was seemingly available to the Sabres.
00:24His conditions were, as long as you're not a team in Canada, I'm good.
00:30He just won the gold medal for the United States of America in the Olympics.
00:35That seems cool.
00:36And our goaltending stinks.
00:39Ah, well.
00:41And I have four to six good young forwards that should be exactly what works in a trade.
00:48Ah, well, no.
00:49No, it's just whatever.
00:52Let's give away some, you know, t-shirts.
00:56I don't know.
00:57What's the point?
00:59Too harsh?
01:00I don't think so.
01:02The sole reason for existence is to win the Stanley Cup.
01:05No, it's not.
01:06It never was.
01:08That's 12, 13 years ago.
01:11Right?
01:12Mm-hmm.
01:1210 years ago?
01:13No, it's not.
01:13It has never been true.
01:15It's never been proven.
01:17It's, here was the perfect chance to announce that actually you meant that?
01:22No.
01:23Oh, well.
01:23Well, we'll just sit down.
01:24New Jersey.
01:26When?
01:26Who did they give up?
01:27When was that?
01:28It was 2011, right?
01:29Is that when?
01:2915 years ago.
01:30Yeah.
01:32Oh, well.
01:32Just kidding.
01:33Ha!
01:33Yeah.
01:34Just kidding.
01:34JK.
01:36JK.
01:36Not really.
01:38What is the reason?
01:40What is the point of the Sabres?
01:44To give away beer Sabres?
01:46Oh, that turned out.
01:48Yeah.
01:49I don't know.
01:50I mean, I didn't really even want this four months ago, but they did nothing else anyway.
02:00Like, just what was the, what was your impression of 109 points and the resurgence of the fan base?
02:11What's the point?
02:12What was the, the reason, what was the effect of that?
02:16No, there wasn't one.
02:17No, no, did it really happen?
02:19Thanks for coming back.
02:20Thanks for coming back.
02:21Do we have to tell the Sabres that that happened?
02:22Now we have you.
02:24Like, thanks for coming back.
02:26Now we have you.
02:26Jersey.
02:27Like, that's.
