00:22Madinah described RCI member and current Tabung Haji Chairman Abdul Rashid Hussain's claim that she wanted to attend the proceedings
00:30together with Mona as inaccurate.
00:33She was served with a subpoena to testify but was later told by an RCI secretariat officer that she did
00:40not need to enter the proceedings room and could go home.
00:43Yesterday, Rashid challenged Madinah's earlier claim that she had never been summoned.
00:48He maintained that the commission had served her with a subpoena but did not allow her to appear with another
00:54officer because witnesses are examined one at a time.
00:58Rashid said Madinah was instead given 75 questions to answer in writing, which she submitted as a statutory declaration.
01:07But Madinah argued that this could not replace oral testimony, insisting the RCI needed to hear what she had to
01:14say.
01:15The RCI found that Tabung Haji had concealed its true financial position for years and criticised the National Audit Department
01:23for not conducting stricter audits between 2014 and 2017.
01:28Madinah, who was AG from 2017 to 2019, continues to stand by her audit of Tabung Haji's financial statements during
