00:00Yeah. So we start here with the fourth. This, this is, I believe it's called Klondike.
00:04Yeah. And this is a par, a 470 yard, 475 yard par five, correct?
00:10Yeah. Yeah. So like it's, it's quite a short par five by today's standards, really narrow fairway.
00:17So you'll see the guys play this probably a couple of ways. You know, there's banks on both sides.
00:23If you want to just pause it there for a second. Yeah. So there's banks on both sides that you
00:26can
00:27use to kick the ball in. It might only be a two iron. It's so narrow. I mean, look at
00:31that fairway,
00:33dude. That's so good. So you can kind of, you lay up to just behind the hill, the Klondike hill,
00:40and then you're hitting a blind, what's maybe a five or six iron for these guys over it.
00:45What you'll probably see, especially if it's downwind, there's a lot of guys take driver
00:49and smack it over there to the right of the fairway to get a clean shot into the green.
00:54Uh-huh. Um, but there is like over here where these, yeah, or more. Okay. In this general area. Okay.
01:00Yeah.
01:00Yeah. So you're right at 300 yards to the base of that hill. Um, so that's kind of around where
01:06they're carrying it, but, but they'll go right and hit, you know, maybe a nine iron or a wedge if
01:10they get a good lie and avoid those bunkers and a lot of the marm grass that's around there.
01:15Where's the predominant wind? Downwind on that hole. Yeah. Coming off. Oh, so they're sending
01:19it over this thing. Yeah. Yeah. And actually during the, we had the Arnold Palmer cup in 2024 and,
01:24uh, Gordon Sargent played in that. And a lot of those guys were just driver straight over the top
01:29of the hill. The hill wasn't even there. Wow. Um, I think, I think Sargent was nearly in this bunker
01:34that you see way up nearly green side, which is like, stop on a par five, 20 yards right up
01:40here on the
01:41right side here. Wow. Yeah. Pitch and putt. Wow. Um, but that was a strong wind, you know? So I
01:47think
01:47you'll see guys either hit two irons into the fairway or take the risk and go out the right,
01:53but it's a great match play hole, you know? And especially if, you know, depending on what your
01:58opponent does in front of you, obviously you're kind of, you're kind of make your decision and go
02:01there, but it's, we have what, what we call a hill man. Um, so on the top of this hill,
02:07we have a guy who stands there all day, every day. Cause the 18th crosses,
02:12crosses the other way. So he's got a red flag and a green flag. Uh, he's kind of our traffic,
02:18you know, traffic control man. So if people are walking up the 18th, you get a red flag
02:22and, uh, there he is. Are there Klondike bars in there too? Just asking for a friend.
02:30TJ, are you familiar with that? Or is that a, is that a U S thing?
02:34No, no, no, no. They're just the Klondike ice cream bars. It's like a brand. I don't think
02:38it's spelled the same, but still nice to see, get a little ice cream on the way through the
02:42fourth hole. Yeah. Yeah. There you go. Exactly. So that's, that's a unique job to the Hinch. I
02:47mean, there's kind of one-on-one hill man in the world, I think. Um, that's so good.
02:51That's a cool feature.
02:52That's a cool feature.
