00:00Yep.
00:01All right, so let's sort of like test our theory a little bit.
00:03Okay.
00:05Like, try to squeeze like an extra six yards out of this one.
00:11Okay.
00:12All right, just really hammer this one.
00:12Yep.
00:14This is the old step on it smiley swing here.
00:16And when in doubt, just take less club and hammer it.
00:23Okay.
00:26One more of those.
00:27Okay.
00:30Still eight.
00:31Wearing this eight iron out.
00:32This is, uh, we've got half the state of Georgia in my grooves over here, buddy.
00:39Better where we started, though.
00:41Could have been cleaner after about five volts.
00:48All right, so still a little draw, but our start line moved more to the right.
00:51It did.
00:52Yep.
00:52So that matches up with what you think.
00:54Yep.
00:55Yep.
00:56And, like, we're right in the neighborhood.
00:57It's just, you know, you could, you could soft step those.
01:01We could try something slightly different.
01:04I mean, it's right in the neighborhood.
01:05I just think, oh, it's long.
01:06What would you do?
01:09The, this particular shaft can play stout.
01:11Oh, stiff.
01:12Like, really rigid through here.
01:13I just, I don't think he's getting enough lag.
01:15I mean, he's getting height.
01:17It's like, what is the player trying to crave with an eight iron?
01:20But a lot of times, you're getting, because you don't have as much lag, you're getting,
01:25you're getting an actual true loft of the eight iron.
01:27Yeah.
01:27Where Smiley, when he creates lag, that eight iron, that impact more like six iron.
01:31Yeah.
01:31Right.
01:32So that's where we're not, that's why your ball is almost like riding up the face and
01:35going.
01:35It's, it's that what I was talking about, that kind of underneath scoopy sort of mist there,
01:39you know, where I'm not really compressing the ball.
01:40Like, yeah, it's high.
01:41It looks high, but how am I doing it?
01:43I'm not, you know, achieving it through a good swing.
01:46Yeah.
01:47Yeah.
01:48Okay.
01:48Five iron.
01:49The ZX5's now.
01:50Big step.
01:51Here we go.
01:56Oh, that's a really good one to start with.
01:58Hello.
01:59Back to the pin.
02:00I had a nest though.
02:01That is, it's funny because when I originally got like fitted for these, I, I think I did
02:07the exact same thing.
02:08But you had to, you had to hand me a four iron, ZX5's, and I, and I like, I almost
02:13whiffed
02:14the golf ball.
02:15And he's got the, show me how forgiving these are.
02:17And he's, he's like 220 carry.
02:19Like, you gotta be kidding me.
02:20Yeah.
02:20It's like, that's what I love about these guys.
02:22The way we talked when we started, you know, we've seen pretty much every guy we have on
02:26tour, at least with one ZX5.
02:30Most guys have a four and a five, some guys down to the six.
02:33And I think we talked on the phone, like, we look a lot at, like, strokes gained on tour
02:37looking at stats.
02:38Yeah.
02:39And against the very best players in the world from over 210 yards, if you hit it on the
02:43green, you're gaining shots against the competition.
02:46So, like, why would we not hit it higher, softer, more forgiving?
02:51You know, you're not trying to carve a four iron to a back right 10, like, especially for
02:56a five, six handicap.
02:57Like, get it on the green, man.
02:58Make it as easy as possible.
02:59So, if I'm having the same combo set as those guys on tour, you know, obviously they're
03:03doing it for a different set of reasons.
03:05But for someone like me, you know, the benefits are higher arc, more spin, more forgiveness.
03:13That's kind of the package there you're looking for, the ZXI 5s, right?
03:17Yep.
03:18And then when you're hitting a 200-plus yard shot into a par five, you have a better chance
03:23of holding the green.
03:23Without a doubt.
03:24So, like, any amateur, like, looking for that sort of, you know, shot is, you know, you'd
03:28be foolish not to try something a little more forgiving at the top of the bag.
03:36That's a good hit.
03:38I still like that pass, you know?
03:40That's what I'm saying.
03:41It's a good pass.
03:41Yeah.
