00:00the on this training on this video uh we're going to be treating how to set up the inventory
00:05the unit of measurements how to stock in how to use the stocking option within the inventory to
00:10stock in items and also how to use the receive goods to receive items that have been purchased
00:18so uh let's begin so to make this video faster i've opened the inventory
00:23module already you can see it's totally empty uh also i've opened the settings module so let's
00:30proceed first of all this is the settings module here and this is the inventory module let's go to
00:35the settings module i want to set up the unit of measurement call event online inventory settings
00:41go to units let's create units let's call this units units to make it fast i'm going to copy and
00:52paste
00:54units clear uh we don't need clear okay units then correlation rates which is one that was one item
01:06it equals to one unit so uh yeah we can add more we can have two tunes or you can
01:14have more uh for now
01:16let's just stop at that so the next thing is for us to go down to the inventory
01:20once we are done it has been saved we go down to the inventory now let's create inventory now before
01:27we create eventually we have what we call the inventory category now i've already created the
01:32an inventory category previously so let's create another new one now there are two places in which
01:36you can create an inventory category you can create them within here or within categories here
01:43so we have two days so let's create a new categories let's create it yeah yeah let's call it uh
01:54what should we call it okay let's call it equipment
02:01all right so within this equipment we have what we call tractors
02:14factors factors then all right so uh we have the tractors then the next thing is added description
02:24let's call it factors let's call it factors
02:31the unit type let's select units
02:38the stock units the inventory type physical you can add the selling price
02:46the cost price if necessary but for this training i'm not going to be adding it
02:52also you can also add the selling price
02:57the selling price so once i'm done i'll create the inventory
03:13so all right so it's done
03:20so now that the inventory has been created once you go down to all inventories
03:23which you see the cactus exactly now we just need to
03:28you just need to stock in currently we have no stock of tractors it's totally empty so let's stock in
03:36to do that just go down to the move stock option go to stocking
03:44then you can record new stocks
03:48now when you record new stocks add items select the category equipment within this category
03:55yeah equipment then we have items tractors unit of measurement units uh we can say okay we are
04:06adding five tractors as we are stocking in five tractors we need to select the dates
04:13and also the vendor though this is currently a test vendor
04:22now you can submit
04:25now you can submit
04:26so once yeah it has been stocking that's the five items so we can go down to inventories in stock
04:35and you get the five quantities
04:40that's what we just did now so also you can also use the receive
04:45goods and under the receive goods you get it under procurement
04:55so once you go to procurement receive goods
04:59new though by default procurement is used for requesting item for
05:05purchasing item when you want to raise the request for things you want to purchase and store
05:09in the venture use the procurement model and use the purchase order then once you've received the
05:16item use the receive goods but you can also use the receive goods without using the purchase order
05:21so that's what i'm going to be doing now so first of all let's fill in the dates
05:25the vendor can use any vendor now since we don't have any purchase order for tractors let's just receive
05:33the item now we have item called tractors
05:40unit of measurements unit sorry
05:46the accepted quantity let's say 10 delivered quantity 10
05:52meaning how many was delivered how many was accepted 10
05:58so test what's it done oh sorry we didn't add the price so if you add the price when you
06:07equated the inventory it will populate here but since we didn't add the price it didn't populate so let's
06:15just add the price here then once we are done we add goods so the next thing let me approve
06:25this
06:26receive goods
06:33so now once it has been approved we can go down to our inventory and it should increase by 10
06:40making it the total 15
06:51inventory
06:52inventory in stock you can see it has behind making it 15 units all right thank you that's how you
07:00can use
07:01how you can set up your inventory use your receive goods to accept inventory and use the stocking track
07:06to accept items into the inventory and how to keep track of the items also you can also
07:15stock out
07:17from the inventory let's uh okay let's just click do a quick stock out
07:26stock out today so stock out is to remove item from the inventory we have just one item so uh
07:35unit
07:39quantity want to stock out six quantity
07:44once we've done remember the price we use in purchasing so it has saved now sorry for that
07:50so once you are done filling all the information you submit
07:59so once it has been submitted let me see
08:06all right it has been submitted so the next go down to the inventory in stock
08:13you can see it has reduced by the six item making it nine so that's how you stock in you
08:18stock out to
08:19set up your inventory and you receive items into your inventory thank you very much and have a nice day
08:24you
