00:05so how does the material acquisition work now if you see right here i have some tabs open
00:11which are the inventory app inventory module and the requisition module what i want to do
00:18what i want to show is i want to show what material acquisition does a material acquisition this is
00:23when you are requesting physical items from your inventories now what do i mean by physical items
00:29for example this is a medical i'm going to be using this medical
00:34demo account as an example now most for example you have a real estate company and the real estate
00:43company they have things like cement uh troubles uh rods new all those materials within the inventory
00:52that you use that are not that are not machineries that can be returned back these are just what you
01:00use and it does not come back sometimes it comes back sometimes it does not come back like your
01:05smith so uh for example using this hospital we have some items in the inventory uh let me go to
01:12the
01:12inventory whatever we call in stock so we have items like drugs we have process i'm going to be using
01:20this
01:20system as example we have 10 000 peracetamol now imagine somebody want to request this peracetamol for
01:26the inventory how does it do that now this is where the material acquisition comes material acquisition is
01:31different from this requisition requisition is just what you request for like data uh like transportation
01:39feeding those are those are requisition but material acquisition these are what you have within your
01:45inventories now for example if i want to select for that process amount uh what i do is i will
01:50come
01:50down to yes select a date select request remember request is different from who is creating the account
01:58now the request can be who owns the account or can be somebody else it can be it can be
02:03someone a staff
02:05that is not attached to this account so you can select for your staff or you can select for ourselves
02:10now you select the department uh after that you can select the watchers now watch us are who should
02:16be aware of this request they are not necessarily who will approve the request they are just who should
02:22be aware who you want to carry along with this request so once that has been done you click on
02:28next uh the
02:30next thing you do is select the date when is it needed when is it expected to be delivered uh
02:35you'll select
02:35on the 11th then at this point this way you select the item now if you notice the items here
02:41they have
02:42quantity numbers and the quantity numbers here like tracetamol and ibufem you can see it in stock
02:50in bofem you can see the quantity and the pracetamol they all match what is right here you get so
02:57now i want
02:57to request uh 100 let's say uh 500 from the amount of this pracetamol here we have 10 000 pracetamol
03:09so we can select units so once we click on enter uh what again then you select the description why
03:18do
03:18you need need it uh drugs for patients now please be aware that it can be for anything this i'm

03:30using a a medical demo account just to demonstrate how this works now once what once i've done that
03:43the next thing is for it will create then it will go down to our material now this is it
03:52so once you come down here you see it needs to be approved here is it uh material acquisition
04:03so this is it so you can see it's requesting an approval an approval now this approval let me log
04:11to the approvals account on my mobile device and approve it
04:18so i will approve it now it's currently showing pending so let me just approve it now
04:30now i'm going to be using the mobile app to approve these requests is the mobile app i'm going
04:36to be using to be using to approve it just to show that it can also be approved via the
04:41mobile app

05:45still the same amount but once we stock it out we select the item then we stock out once we

05:53you see it's you see it's going to reduce from the inventory by 500 that's 10 000 it should be
