00:00Dodgers will take on the Cubs, and right now, you know, so much in flux, I think, for both teams.
00:06The Cubs certainly looking to make moves. The Dodgers probably not done.
00:10Monday, Robleski will start against Matthew Boyd, and then things get interesting,
00:15because I wonder if Skubal will start this Tuesday game against Assad instead of Lauer,
00:20but we'll see. As of right now, it looks like Wednesday will be the Skubal debut in Chicago,
00:26and so Sasaki would get moved back a day against Imanaga.
00:31So, wow, what a debut that would be. Wednesday night, Tom, that'll be must-watch television.
00:37Yeah, Skubal's first start with the Dodgers is certainly going to be interesting,
00:42but this is just an important series for the Cubs. That's how I really look at this.
00:46No matter how good Skubal has been, he's been unbelievable.
00:49Coming back from the elbow surgery, he barely missed any time for that.
00:52He looks like his old self. He looks like he never had any issues.
00:55But this is a series more about the Cubs, and I think this is a good measuring stick
01:00and a good litmus test for the Cubs is, you know, can they really go toe-to-toe with the
01:05Dodgers?
01:05Now, if they lose 2-3 in this series, I'm going to say, you know, do they lose these games?
01:10Are they losing them 10-2? Are they losing them 5-4? Is it 3-2?
01:14Because putting up good performances, I think, is at least a good indication of where they're in,
01:19because, again, this is a rollercoaster of a team.
01:21If they take 2-3 the Cubs do, great. They'll be in a good spot.
01:24I think they'll instill a lot of confidence, and that's a Cubs backer out there for any type of ticket
01:27you have.
01:28But if they're getting blown out in this series, we're going to be looking at them as a third-class
01:32team
01:32behind the Dodgers, the Brewers, the Braves, the Phillies.
01:35They'd be a full two steps behind.
