00:00My brothers, yesterday I made a video here on my channel talking about Nepal
00:05and the great tragedy that happened there, this flood that you are seeing in
00:09the video. Brothers, I started to discover some things that really scared me. I'm
00:16going to show you here a video where a missionary who was there in person, she
00:21shares accounts, of course she was still careful with her words because she
00:26definitely saw some heavy stuff there. And now you're going to start putting the
00:30pieces together, not just about Nepal but about several events that are coming
00:35upon the world. And you're going to start seeing that in fact all of this could
00:41actually be God's judgment. It's not for you to be afraid but for you to have the
00:46fear of the Lord. The Bible says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
00:51I'm going to show you now the video where this missionary talks about something
00:55terrible that was happening there in Nepal. And I do believe, yes, that it has to do
01:01with this tragedy, but let this be a warning for me and for you because we
01:05can't play around with God, brothers. God is holy, God is love, but God is also a
01:11consuming fire. That's what the Bible says. God is just and no evil escapes God's
01:18notice. Watch with me this brief account from missionary Ariadna where she took part in
01:25the Jesus Cop podcast with Douglas Gonçalves. Pay attention.
01:31There is a region in Nepal where genitals are worshipped as gods and parents sell a
01:39local culture, local. They are daughters for child prostitution. And there are stories of
01:47children aged 5, 6, 7 who are sold to brothels and some of them have to service up to 30
01:57adult
01:57men a day. So, I am a documentary photographer by profession. I even chose this as a strategy.
02:05And a documentary photographer goes into a brothel like that. And he has permission to take pictures.
02:14And the bedroom door opens. And a little girl between 8 and 9 years old had just serviced an adult
02:23man. The door is open. The man leaves. And she is waiting for the next client. She pulls the sheet
02:30to cover her small naked body. And she looks. The image is taken. And the image is sent to us.
02:36And in that girl's eyes, Douglas, there was complete hopelessness. It's as if she was screaming in the
02:45silence of that photograph. That's it. It comes down to that. I was raised for this. Yeah. You
02:52understand? So, there are things beyond what we as the Western Church have seen. And we need to find
02:59ways to get involved. So, understand, Lord, what it is that you want from us. How we can be a
03:08part of
03:08this. How to avert this. So, I think that the Brazilian Church is very privileged because of
03:18everything it carries. And this is not a criticism. Not at all. It's more of a calling. But this is
03:24a
03:24reflection for me, first of all. Because the Father is ours. The bread is ours. But the sin is also
03:31ours. So, it's a reflection for me. You know how we, as the Brazilian Church, can move toward what grieves
03:38God in this moment. Do you understand? To make you afraid. I know that at this moment, some people say,
03:48Pastor, but this makes us anxious. Yeah, afraid. Brothers, as I said, it needs to create fear in our
03:58hearts. I know that when faced with a report like this, many doubts remain, right? Like, yeah, so why did
04:07judgment come upon everyone? If this earthquake that caused the flood ended up killing innocent people,
04:16tourists, ended up killing people who had nothing to do with it?
04:22While sometimes the people exploiting these children end up unharmed. Why is that?
04:29So, I prepared a message here that I want to share with you for reflection. But there's one thing I
04:34want to tell you first. Here's the thing. The Bible says in Revelation chapter 19 that Jesus will return
04:41one day, but he won't return as a defeated man, like someone who was suffering on the cross. No,
04:47he will return with an iron scepter. He will return riding a white horse. He will return as the King
04:54of
04:54Kings, Lord of Lords. A sharp sword will come out of his mouth, and the Bible says he will judge
05:01the
05:01nations with an iron scepter. Brothers, this will happen during the period of the Great Tribulation,
05:07with seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls. In light of the judgment God will
05:13pour out, look, nothing will go unnoticed. God, he will judge people and nations. And let me tell you
05:21something you might not know. When a nation experiences something like this, and I even started researching
05:28other terrible things related to it, and I found out a lot of heavy stuff. I can't even report everything
05:36here, but I'll tell you about some of them in a bit. When the nation allows this kind of thing,
05:42it is bringing a curse upon itself. It is bringing God's judgment. And so I felt very strongly in my
05:49heart just now to bring you this teaching so you can understand who this God is. Because many people
05:55think, brothers, that God is just a nice God, a domesticated God, a God who sees everything happening
06:02in the world and does nothing. My brothers, look, a lot is yet to come. I will show you in
06:08the Bible
06:08what God has already done in the past. And he hasn't changed it, right? The God of the Old Testament
06:14is the God of the New Testament. He is the God of today. So I'm going to share some teaching
06:19here,
06:19but I really want you to watch until the end. And don't forget to share, because this account is
06:24very powerful, but people need to open their eyes. Am I? So follow along with me in this message.
06:31I know that when I showed the video yesterday about the catastrophe in Nepal, a lot of people
06:35commented like this, Pastor, this is the work of man. That happened because nature is being changed
06:42by man. There's climate change going on. But brothers, do you really think that's normal?
06:49So many catastrophes happening overnight. In fact, Jesus said in Matthew 24 that there would be
06:57earthquakes in various parts of the world. And when we look at the Old Testament, Isaiah chapter 24
07:03also talked about earthquakes. And he said that the earth would stagger like a drunkard. And that's
07:10what we've been seeing these days. And when I heard the account from this missionary, Ariadne,
07:15I went straight to documents from international organizations to understand the true scale of
07:21this problem. I started researching here on the internet and my brothers, the official data shows
07:27a frightening situation. Just so you know, this has been happening for many years. We're not talking
07:34here about something that's been happening for just a year or two. No, brothers, the childhood of
07:39girls and boys has been stolen for a long time. And it seems like everyone is turning a blind
07:44eye to it because unfortunately, it's very profitable. You already know about trafficking
07:50and all that, right? Human trafficking. I don't need to get into that here. And I can't say much
07:55because otherwise, YouTube will take down this video. But I want to tell you that there is a very
08:01dark spiritual side behind all of this. And I want to show you, according to the Bible, what happens
08:07when evil reaches such a point that God himself urs out judgment. Here's the thing. The first thing we
08:14ask ourselves is, is God really behind all of this? Or is it the work of the devil? Because I
08:21know there
08:21are people who believe it's Satan who causes these things. But brothers, the one who is in control of
08:26everything is God. And God allows things to happen. Many times we look here in the Old Testament and we
08:33see that God himself caused that tragedy. Not because God is evil. On the contrary, God is good and he
08:41is love itself.
08:42That's what the Bible says. God is love and whoever does not love does not know God. So, the Bible
08:49makes it
08:49very clear that God's love lasts forever. His mercies never end. But God also, because he is just, needs to
08:57condemn evil.
08:58Imagine that you had a relative who suffered abuse. A terrible thing. And then, suddenly,
09:05this criminal comes before the judge and the judge simply asks the criminal, have you repented of your
09:12actions? And he confesses, yes, I repent of everything I did. And then, imagine that this judge simply lets
09:20this man go. Don't arrest him. Don't punish him. What would you feel at that moment? That you were wronged.
09:27Isn't that right? And in the same way, God needs to deal with evil in a just manner. Of course,
09:33Jesus,
09:34there on the cross of Calvary, he took sin upon himself. And when we repent, we are forgiven,
09:41we are saved, because salvation is by grace. But the consequences, they come. And the account of this
09:48missionary is about those cruel men who do not repent of anything. They are wicked. They do not follow God.
09:56They don't want to know about God. And they even do the opposite of everything the Bible teaches.
10:02So, brothers, judgment needs to come. And I know that nowadays, it's hard to explain this to people,
10:08because they believe that our God is nice, our God is tame. And he just watches everything from afar.
10:14And he never acts in the history of mankind. But that's why I want to explain to you now,
10:20some things that have already happened in the past, so you can see that they will happen again
10:25in the future. For example, back in Genesis chapter 6, the Bible talks about how people's
10:30wickedness had grown so much. There was so much violence and corruption that God sent the flood,
10:36remember? And God wiped out humanity there. Then we see in chapters 18 and 19 of Genesis,
10:42the case of Sodom and Gomorrah. Brothers, God destroyed two cities at once by sending fire from
10:49heaven. And all because there was a lot of prostitution there. So, little love. Just like
10:56we're seeing happen today, brothers. And God still spared Lot and his family. And I believe that God
11:01gives deliverance to his people. I remember when there was a tsunami in Indonesia, remember?
11:07More than 200,000 people died. One day, I was at a service and I heard a missionary's account,
11:16who said that a pastor had a vision from God to call the whole church, all the children of God,
11:22to go up the mountain that day. Brothers, thousands of Christians escaped death at the exact moment
11:29the tsunami was happening down there, because they stayed on the mountain praying. So God provides a way out.
11:36He gives deliverance. But we have to understand that God does put out judgment. Remember when God
11:42made a covenant with Abraham? The Bible says that he promised Abraham's family would receive a land,
11:49a promised land. But he warned that they would have to wait four generations before taking possession
11:55of that land. Look at what the Bible says in Genesis 15, verse 16.
11:59After four generations, your descendants will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites
12:06has not yet reached the point of requiring punishment. Look how interesting this is, brothers.
12:12Here, God is saying the following. The Amorites are sinning. They are doing wrong things.
12:18I see everything. But the measure of their guilt is not full yet. And these brothers should cause
12:24great fear in our hearts. Because they were people who could keep living life as usual.
12:30The shops would open every day. People would get married. They would live their lives normally.
12:36And anyone looking from the outside thought nothing would happen. In the same way, brothers,
12:42God is merciful and patient. And that's why he hasn't poured out judgment on certain places,
12:48on certain people yet. And I know there are a lot of people who are arrogant enough to think this
12:53way.
12:53People think like this. If God really existed, he would have already punished us. Since he hasn't
13:00done anything, I'm going to keep doing everything wrong. But brothers, God's patience has a limit.
13:06That's what we learn here, in this verse. Many times he delays punishment simply because he hopes
13:12the person will truly repent from the heart. And of course, at this moment, many other people might
13:18ask themselves, Pastor, but if God punished Nepal, then, because of this, because of this serious case
13:25with the children, why doesn't God destroy us? Also, other cities where children are exploited,
13:31where they are sold like merchandise. And the answer, brothers, is that God is not in a hurry like we
13:37are.
13:38God knows the right time to act. The truth is, if God wanted to destroy the whole world,
13:43he would have already done it. Jesus himself said, I did not come to destroy people,
13:49I came to save them. But brothers, the time of grace is running out, the door of grace is closing,
13:56and we have to look to the Bible to understand what he is going to do and what he has
14:01already done.
14:02Look at what the Bible says, for example, in Amos chapter 1, verse 6. This is what the Lord says,
14:20Brothers, here God is speaking to an entire nation that had accepted this kind of sin,
14:26and they were trading people, selling human beings as if they were animals. And this deeply hurts God's
14:33heart. Brothers, the account of this missionary, if it touched your heart and it touched mine,
14:38imagine God's heart. Because these people are messing with the little ones,
14:44and Jesus himself defended the children. He even said that if we make one of these little ones stumble,
14:51it would be better to tie a heavy stone around our neck and be thrown into the depths of the
14:56sea.
14:57Brothers, this causes great indignation in God. So, whenever a nation, whenever a people or individuals
15:05start doing terrible things and think that nothing will ever happen, in fact,
15:11they are in the sights of God's justice. As I told you, in Revelation 19, Jesus will judge the
15:18nations with an iron scepter. Woe to those who today keep toying with God and think they will escape
15:25unscathed. Brothers, we need to have our hearts turned to the Lord, because the Bible also tells us,
15:32there, in Revelation 18, that one day, Babylon, this corrupt system of the world, it will collapse.
15:40And precisely, those who profited off of people, they will pay a greater price.
15:46Of course, there's no such thing as a small sin or a big sin, but there are greater consequences.
15:53Jesus, for example, spoke to Caiaphas, one of the religious leaders who had Jesus arrested to be
15:59crucified. Jesus said, the judgment upon your life will be greater. And in the same way, in his time,
16:07Jesus said that some cities, even after witnessing miracles and still not changing their ways,
16:13would face greater judgment. Of course, brothers, not everything bad that happens in this world
16:19is because God is putting out judgment. We know that tragedies happen. In fact, in Luke chapter 13,
16:26Jesus talked about 18 men who died while they were at the Tower of Siloan, and they were not to
16:33blame
16:34at all. In fact, they were serving God. But Jesus said, those men died that way, and there are people
16:41who will die in a much more peaceful way. But Jesus went on to say, if you do not repent
16:47of your sins,
16:48you will suffer eternal judgment. So brothers, the invitation for you and me is this. We need to
16:55repent of all our sins. We need to turn to the Lord. To believe in Jesus as our Lord and
17:02Savior,
17:03because He is good, He is merciful. The Bible even says in Romans chapter 2, that we cannot despise
17:11God's patience. Because God is patient. But we cannot continue living a life of sin.
17:18We need to repent. Because in 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9, it says,
17:25The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some think. On the contrary, He is patient with you.
17:32He doesn't want anyone to be destroyed. But that everyone should repent. Amen.
17:39So, the only way for you not to be under God's judgment is to repent of your sins and walk
17:45with
17:45Jesus and do the will of the Father. Amen. God will not condemn His children, but those who do not
17:53believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, as Jesus Himself made clear, they are already condemned.
18:00Brothers, may this message bring fear to your heart. And now, I ask you to share it.
18:06I believe that many people need to hear these words and need to know what really happens
18:11behind the scenes, as this missionary's account shows. God bless you. I'll leave the video here
18:17on the screen. I really want you to watch it. May God speak to your heart. Much love. God bless.
18:36God bless.
18:36You
