00:00Brothers, the message I want to bring here today is for you who are feeling tired and
00:05often think that your faith hasn't been enough.
00:09It's as if you are facing a giant and your faith seems so small.
00:15Look I am going to share a perspective today that I think you've never heard before.
00:20I truly believe that this message will open your eyes to how the spiritual world works.
00:28How do things work?
00:30From the moment you pray, from the moment you put things in God's hands, will God really
00:35answer the way you expected?
00:36Brothers, let me give you a brief illustration.
00:42Let's imagine that you planted the little seed in the ground.
00:45Then the next day you go back and nothing has appeared.
00:48Then you go back in two days, after a week and nothing has happened.
00:52At that moment you might think, is this seed not going to grow?
00:56Is the soul not good?
00:59Brothers, in the same way that's how we treat our faith.
01:02We think that just because we prayed with faith, just because we are doing everything right,
01:08God is going to answer the way we want.
01:10But just like what happened with that little seed, God is actually working behind the scenes.
01:16Why?
01:17The little seed, it's there, under the ground.
01:20And we forget that in that dark place, in that closed place, actually the root is growing
01:26deeper.
01:27It's getting stronger.
01:29It's searching for water to strengthen that plant for when it finally sprouts.
01:33And you don't see that, you don't notice.
01:36It's not being seen with natural eyes, but it's happening, right?
01:41In the same way, many times we think that God has abandoned us just because he didn't
01:46answer us the way we wanted, in our time, in our way.
01:51Brothers, I will never forget the greatest lesson I received from God once when my uncle
01:56was very sick.
01:58I prayed for him, brothers, with all my faith.
02:00I was a new convert.
02:02I had just started walking in God's ways.
02:05I had given my life to Jesus and I was in that first love, you know?
02:10And I told my whole family that my uncle would be healed.
02:13I prayed for him, brothers.
02:15I took him to church.
02:16I called the pastor to pray for him at home.
02:18The pastor prayed for him, brothers, he even showed signs of improvement, it's true.
02:23For a day, two days, it seemed like he was 100% healed, but unfortunately, he ended up
02:29passing away.
02:29Unfortunately for us, right?
02:31Because in fact, it wasn't God's plan and God knows what's best.
02:36Brothers, after he passed away, I confess, I felt so frustrated.
02:41I felt ashamed because I had told everyone that he would be healed by Jesus Christ.
02:46Brothers, that was such a huge disappointment for me.
02:50But today, I thank the Lord because it was a great lesson that I learned.
02:55I learned that God didn't want to heal my uncle in the way I thought.
02:59But actually, his soul was healed.
03:02He was born again.
03:03He prayed a prayer of surrender.
03:05He gave his life to Jesus Christ.
03:07Brothers, is there a greater miracle than that?
03:10Is there?
03:11Tell me.
03:11Brothers, God wants to populate heaven.
03:14He has no interest here on this earth.
03:17Because Jesus himself said, I am going to prepare a place for you because my kingdom is not of
03:24this earth.
03:24This world, brothers, is contaminated by sin.
03:28And the Bible says that there will be a new heaven, a new earth.
03:32And there will be no more sin, pain, sadness, or suffering, longing.
03:36None of that will exist anymore.
03:38So, brothers, you know what I often notice?
03:42We Christians, we've lost sight of what's waiting for us ahead.
03:46We've lost faith, the hope in the resurrection, you know?
03:51We have to start dreaming again, brothers, about eternal things.
03:55About what God truly values and prioritizes.
03:58I know that God has the best for us on this earth, because the Bible says so.
04:03In Isaiah 1, it says that if we are willing and listen to the Lord, we will eat the best
04:09of this land.
04:10God has the best for us here on this earth, but our hearts need to be set on things above.
04:16Amen?
04:17Our thoughts, our attitude, our motivation must always be focused on what is eternal.
04:24Brothers, I'm going to bring a message here today that, look, will really speak to your
04:29heart.
04:29And I don't want you to feel sad at the end of this message, because actually, it's a
04:33message of hope.
04:34So stay with me until the end, I will explain everything the Bible is going to teach us here
04:40today.
04:40And I ask you to subscribe to my channel.
04:43Also turn on the notification bell and select the all option, so you can receive the next videos
04:49I post right on your phone, okay?
04:52I want to help you every day, so come join me.
04:56Brothers, today I want to touch on a very delicate subject here.
04:59I know it's one of those topics we avoid talking about with people.
05:03We don't bring it up because it's really uncomfortable.
05:07The truth is that we've learned a kind of faith math that doesn't really work in real life.
05:13We hear that if we have faith, we'll move mountains.
05:16If we are faithful to God, He will deliver us from all evil.
05:21But then brothers, we know that in this life everything can change.
05:25Nothing is under our control.
05:27Then suddenly an illness comes, or a disappointment, or sadness, or the answer doesn't come.
05:34And then we ask ourselves, where did I go wrong?
05:37Isn't that right?
05:38And what if I told you that the fact that a cure, a miracle, or what you asked for didn't
05:44come, could they actually be God's purpose, which is much greater than you can imagine?
05:49Brothers, for this I want to read with you the story of a man named Epaphroditus.
05:54I know it's a complicated name, but this character from the Bible brothers, he is not just any
06:00man.
06:01He was a warrior of faith.
06:03In the Apostle Paul describes him as, my brother, co-worker, and fellow soldier.
06:08So, Epaphroditus was a partner in Paul's ministry, and the Bible shows that he left
06:14his home, his family, his city, to travel, and to take an offering from the church of
06:20Philippi to help Paul who was in prison in Rome.
06:24Now imagine the courage and dedication of this man.
06:27He was literally serving God in the middle of his mission, risking his life because at
06:32that time, there was fierce persecution.
06:35That's why Paul was in prison.
06:37And do you know what happened to him?
06:39Was he blessed with good health, with prosperity for being such a faithful man?
06:44Brothers, that's not what happened.
06:46The Bible says he got sick, and it wasn't just a mild flu, he was at death's door.
06:52Now think about this with me.
06:54Paul was the apostle God was using to heal the sick.
06:57He even raised the dead brothers.
07:00There was a young man who was listening to his preaching, sitting in the window.
07:04And he fell out of the window down below.
07:07When he fell, he died instantly.
07:09Paul then went there, prayed for him, and he came back to life.
07:13Brothers, think about this with me.
07:15Paul who was there beside his friend, surely prayed for him.
07:20And suddenly, this man here almost died because of his illness.
07:25Of course, we would think that way.
07:27This man was healed right away because the power of God was there in Paul's life.
07:33But brothers, look at what is written in Philippians 2, verse 27.
07:37Look at what Paul said.
07:40In fact, he was sick and near death, but God had mercy on him, and also on me, so that
07:46I would not have sorrow upon sorrow.
07:49Look at this brothers, I don't know if you noticed, but Paul didn't say it like this.
07:54Oh, our faith healed this man, he didn't say that either.
07:58We rebuked the illness, and the illness left immediately.
08:02But Paul simply said, God had mercy on him, and that's it, period.
08:07It was purely an act of God's sovereign mercy that that man survived.
08:14The illness was real, the risk of death was real, and that man's survival was a gift of God's grace.
08:21It was not the result of those man's faith.
08:24Brothers, this here tears down that transactional theology, you know.
08:28That idea that our faithfulness forces God to act the way we want.
08:33Brothers, Epaphroditus was a faithful man, he was at the center of God's will, and even so, he got so
08:40sick that he almost died.
08:41And then we ask ourselves, right, why did this happen?
08:45Brothers, the truth is that many times, for God to deal with our soul, he uses a sick bed, he
08:51uses disappointment with someone, he uses a financial loss.
08:54He uses whatever is necessary, brothers, to deal with us.
08:59It doesn't mean there's something wrong with us, but it means that God wants to refine us, just like gold
09:05is refined in the fire, you understand?
09:08And yes, God allows it, brothers.
09:10God is God.
09:11Who are we to question him?
09:13God allows pain in the body to cure pride, impatience, and self-sufficiency, you know.
09:18There are people, brothers, who won't humble themselves.
09:21There are people who don't recognize that they really need God.
09:24Of course, they might even pray, but it's just lip service, and it's only in the wilderness, it's only in
09:31times of testing, that the person really starts to understand that they don't have control over their own life.
09:38And maybe you're asking yourself, but pastor, I admit that I find this very confusing.
09:42Because a man of God, a prophet who performeth miracles, if he dies sick, doesn't that nullify God's power?
09:49Brothers, on the contrary.
09:51In fact, this actually shows that God is sovereign.
09:54And I want to prove this to you now by showing you another case, even more shocking.
09:59And you'll be amazed to see how God is in control of everything.
10:02The story is about the prophet Elisha.
10:05Do you remember him?
10:06Elisha, he was the successor of the prophet Elijah, the man who received the double portion of his spirit.
10:12Just so you know, Elisha parted the Jordan River with his cloak, he purified the waters of a city, he
10:19multiplied the oil of a widow, he raised the son of a Shunammite woman, and he healed Naaman, who was
10:26a general of Syria and had leprosy.
10:29I believe you must have already heard his testimony.
10:32Naaman dipped seven times in the Jordan River, and his skin, which was all covered with open wounds, became like
10:39a baby's skin.
10:41All because Elisha was used by God to give an instruction.
10:45If he dipped seven times, he would be completely healed.
10:48So, brothers, Elisha's record of miracles is impressive.
10:52He was a direct channel of God's power here on earth.
10:55And do you know how this man ended his days?
10:58The Bible speaks very clearly about it, brothers.
11:01In 2 Kings 13, verse 14, it says this.
11:07Elisha became sick with the illness from which he would die.
11:10Wait a minute, is it really true what the Bible is saying?
11:13The man who healed everyone.
11:14The man who had authority over life and death, because he was greatly used by God in his generation, suddenly
11:21died from illness.
11:23Brothers, that's exactly what happened.
11:26And here is a lesson for us.
11:28If Hili wore an obligation from God for those who have faith, Elijah and Elisha would certainly be the first
11:34in line to be healed.
11:36Brothers, but that's not what happened.
11:38But did this man's faith weaken at the end of his life?
11:42Did his faith run out?
11:43Of course not, brothers.
11:45The truth is that the illness actually strengthened that man's faith.
11:49Brothers, everything depends on our point of view.
11:53Everything depends on the way we see the things that happened to us.
11:56I don't know why I am bringing this message today, but it was something that God laid on my heart.
12:01I know that many of you have relatives who are sick.
12:04I am not here saying that God won't heal.
12:06In fact, we are going to pray in a little while, okay?
12:09I believe that God can indeed perform the supernatural miracle, and for our part, we should believe until the last
12:16minute, until the last moment.
12:18I have seen several testimonies, brothers, like this.
12:23God turning situations around, resurrecting what was already dead, and bringing back that hope.
12:29So, God can do anything, but what I want to show you in this message here, is that even men
12:35and women of God go through trials, through difficulties.
12:39And the proof that Elisha's illness was not a sign of abandonment, or even a lack of power, is in
12:45what happens after his death.
12:47It's one of the most incredible scenes in the Bible, brothers.
12:51There in the book of 2 Kings 13, verse 20, it says that,
12:55Some men were burying a dead man, and suddenly, they saw a band of enemies approaching, and in a hurry,
13:02they threw the body of that dead man into the first grave they saw,
13:06which, by chance, was the grave of Elisha.
13:10And at the very moment the dead man's body touched the prophet's bones, that man came back to life and
13:16stood up.
13:17Look at this amazing thing, brothers.
13:19What a wonderful thing.
13:21Think with me about something here.
13:22The disease took Elisha's body, right?
13:26But it couldn't touch the anointing that was on his life.
13:29So, the illness was the way God used to take him to glory.
13:33But that didn't invalidate his purpose.
13:36Here on earth, even after death, he was a channel of blessing.
13:40He was a channel of life.
13:42God was showing that his power is so great, that it surpasses the barrier of death, of sickness, and even
13:49of our own logic.
13:51Brothers, I believe that when a Christian, when someone who is born again dies, when they leave this earth, they
13:57continue to be used by the Lord.
14:00The Bible says that many, even after their death, they continue speaking.
14:04And what does the Bible mean by that, brothers?
14:07That the testimony remains alive.
14:09God continues to use these examples of men and women from the past.
14:13Even you, who have a relative, who has already passed away, maybe a woman of prayer, maybe your mother, your
14:20father, they were people of God.
14:23Their testimony still speaks to us today.
14:26Amen?
14:26Don't think that death is the end, brothers.
14:30Death, in fact, is the beginning of something great and powerful that God is doing in eternity.
14:35And one day, we will recognize these with total clarity.
14:39We will see that this body really held us back.
14:43This body limited us.
14:45But when we have a glorified body, when we are with Jesus forever, brothers, every tear will be wiped away.
14:53God will bring eternal joy upon us.
14:56Amen?
14:57So, I could mention examples of men and women in the Bible who went through great afflictions, even while being
15:03faithful.
15:03This can happen to anyone.
15:05And I even remembered another example here now that the Apostle Paul experienced.
15:10In practice, the fact that he prayed for people and many times God did not heal.
15:15This can also happen, you understand, brothers.
15:18There is a passage in the book of Timothy where he says something very interesting.
15:22He says this to Timothy.
15:24I left the man named Trophimus and he is sick in me lethus.
15:29Brothers, here the Bible doesn't say whether Paul prayed for him or not.
15:33The Bible only says one thing.
15:35The illness came and life went on.
15:37This man remained sick.
15:39And then the issue is that many times we suffer for lack of knowledge.
15:43For not understanding how God works, the way God acts, we get frustrated.
15:48Isn't that true?
15:49But I am here to tell you today, God has not forgotten you.
15:53Maybe you are hearing this message here from a hospital bed.
15:57Maybe you feel abandoned.
15:58You think that because you have prayed, fasted, served in the church for so many years, does
16:04that mean you should be free from these afflictions?
16:07Taking care of brothers and sisters, brothers.
16:10Even Christ himself went through so many things.
16:13Isn't that true?
16:14And many times we think like this.
16:16My problem is the biggest of all.
16:18No, brothers.
16:19Jesus faced terrible things.
16:21But he persevered and he himself told us,
16:23Take heart, because I have overcome the world for you.
16:29Glory to God.
16:31He spoke to me today.
16:32I needed this word.
16:34Hallelujah.
16:36So now we are going to pray.
16:38We are going to believe for a miracle.
16:41We are mainly going to put our future, our lives and the lives of those we love in God's hands.
16:49And at the end of the prayer, I ask you to share this with your friends and family.
16:54Let's share, brothers, because there are many people who need a word like this.
16:59Alright?
16:59So let's pray.
17:00Close your eyes.
17:01And I want to start this prayer now.
17:03But also pray with all your heart.
17:06Hallelujah.
17:07Lord, my God and my Father, we want to thank you for another day.
17:12We want to thank you for your word, Lord.
17:14Thank you, my God, for having nourished us, for bringing answers to our prayers.
17:20Hallelujah.
17:21Father, I believe that you have answered many people here today.
17:25You have opened our minds, our vision and especially our understanding.
17:30Father, thank you, my God, because many times you speak not what we want to hear,
17:35but what we need to hear to increase our faith, to mature in faith.
17:40Oh, my God, I place before you the life of this man and this woman.
17:44These people, Father, who often feel like dry land.
17:47This person who seems to pray, who seeks.
17:50She fasts, but she only finds silence.
17:54How many people, my Father, are now looking at a medical diagnosis, at a pain in their soul,
18:00at a problem that seems like it never gets resolved.
18:03And they keep asking themselves,
18:05Where are you, Lord?
18:06Why don't you answer right away?
18:09Why don't you do what we ask?
18:11Oh, my Father, minister to the hearts of these people now.
18:15Breathe upon them, my Father,
18:17your presence, your strength, your power.
18:20Show them, Lord, that you are the ever-present help in times of trouble.
18:24Show them that you are in the midst of this storm.
18:28Father, we ask you for forgiveness,
18:30because so many times we try to bargain with you.
18:33We demand proofs, signs, so that we can believe.
18:36Father, forgive us, Lord.
18:38Our faith is too small.
18:39How many times, my Father, do we want to have the faith of Job,
18:43who, even after losing everything, declared,
18:46The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away.
18:49Blessed be the name of the Lord.
18:51But instead, Father, we keep complaining,
18:54we doubt, we grumble.
18:55That's why I ask you, Lord,
18:57have compassion on us,
18:59have mercy on our lives.
19:02Father, at this moment,
19:03I rebuke every spirit of unbelief,
19:05every arrow of doubt that the enemy has thrown into the minds of your children.
19:10May every voice that says,
19:12God has abandoned you,
19:13your faith is not enough.
19:15You seemed, and that's why you are suffering.
19:18I rebuke these voices now,
19:20now in the name of Jesus Christ.
19:22Father, your word assures us,
19:24that nothing can separate us from your love.
19:27Neither tribulation, nor anguish,
19:30nor sickness,
19:31nor even death.
19:32That's why I exalt you, my God,
19:35because our hope is in you.
19:37You are powerful to heal.
19:39You are powerful to deliver.
19:42And at this moment, my Father,
19:45I pray for those who are sick.
19:47If there is a sick person now,
19:50may your restoring power reach every cell,
19:53every organ,
19:54bringing life,
19:55bringing health.
19:57I rebuke every disease now, cancer.
20:00Leave this person's body now,
20:02in the name of Jesus.
20:04Headache,
20:05back pain,
20:06mobility problems,
20:08problems in the internal organs.
20:10In the name of Jesus,
20:12be healed,
20:13be freed from this sickness.
20:15Oh my God and my Father,
20:18I place before you, Lord,
20:20the lives of those who are sick in their souls.
20:23So many right now, Lord,
20:25are sad and shaken.
20:26They are tired of facing life.
20:29They are overwhelmed,
20:30tired of suffering.
20:32Father, fill their hearts with your peace,
20:35with your presence.
20:37Lord, perform the miracle.
20:39Lord, it is by your grace,
20:40not by our effort,
20:42not by our merit,
20:43but it is by your grace
20:45that we are saved and transformed.
20:48Oh my dear brother,
20:49my dear sister,
20:50if you for the first time
20:52truly wish to give your heart to Jesus,
20:55you recognize that he is your savior
20:57and you want to be with him for all eternity.
21:00And have you already repented of your sins?
21:03Then say this prayer with me.
21:05Repeat these words and let's pray together.
21:08I believe that Jesus is now looking at your heart.
21:12Say this,
21:13O Lord Jesus,
21:16I recognize that I am a sinner
21:18and that I need you.
21:19I give my life,
21:21my pain,
21:21my future into your hands.
21:25Forgive me,
21:26cleanse me, Lord,
21:28transform me and save me.
21:30I ask you for forgiveness for all my sins
21:33and I believe that you died on the cross
21:35for all of them.
21:36But you rose again
21:38to give me eternal life.
21:40So write my name in the book of life, Lord.
21:43I want to be with you every day
21:46and I receive you
21:47as my only all-sufficient savior.
21:51I renounce all religions.
21:54I renounce everything
21:55that keeps me away from you.
21:57I give myself to you,
21:58body,
21:59soul and spirit.
22:00Jesus,
22:01my life is yours.
22:02Hallelujah.
22:04O my father,
