00:02With our Bornean Sun Bearer Cubs, they are about five months old, born October 25th last year.
00:08They come out of the den a lot sooner, but we want to give them time to learn how to
00:11walk and crawl and climb before they experience the exhibit.
00:16The male is somewhat reserved. I think that's a good word to describe him.
00:23His sister, on the other hand, is the first one to greet us in the morning. She's always very curious
00:29to know what's going on outside their bedrooms,
00:31and it doesn't take long for her brother to follow up behind.
00:36So it is indeed a rare occasion to have Bornean Sun Bearer Cubs. San Diego Zoo has had the only
00:42Bornean Sun Bearer Cub births in this hemisphere.
00:46They've only had three litters, and this is the first time that they've ever had twins.
00:53Well, she has proved to be a very good mother. It was a little confusing for her in the beginning.
01:00She wasn't sure how to deal with two cubs at a time, but it didn't take her long to settle
01:05in and learn how to nurse both at the same time, cradle both at the same time.
01:11We will probably wean about 18 months of age, which is pretty standard, and at that point, Marcelo gets to
01:18be a single female bear again, and the cubs will go on to be adults.
01:23We'll be right back in the middle of the next round.
01:26We will be right back after the battle.
01:28We will be right back after teaching in the beginning.
01:29We will be left with one minute in the beginning.
01:29We are also very excited to have a new tigers, and so we have another lucky Consideration,
01:29and this is a very lucrative example.
