00:09We at GE Vernova, we have been developing G-Cube as a technology as an answer to the decarbonization
00:16request and especially the SF6-free solution for our customers. But today it's not only
00:26about decarbonization, we are also looking in our designs to optimize footprint, weight, LCA so means
00:34CO2 equivalent and making sure that we optimize the full solution. Our customers today they are
00:43getting life tank breakers in CO2O2, gas insulated switchgear in G-Cube and all the time we are
00:50looking at optimizing the footprint so that we can come with affordable solutions to our customers.
01:08Resilience in practice means thinking holistically about the life of the asset, thinking about its
01:13resilience from the engineering stage, reducing the time to market during execution and thinking
01:18about things like standardization, modularization to make things simpler, more reliable and with a
01:26better time to market. It also means partnerships, it means working together in order to get those
01:30solutions, those great ideas to the market and making it a reality.
01:43I think smart grids provide the adaptability and they provide the capability of enabling a grid.
01:51So what does enabling a grid mean? It means that one has the capability of managing data flows,
01:56operating capabilities that the grid needs. It also then provides the flexibility requirements of dealing
02:05with the grid. So all in all you know smart grid really provides the broad technical capability of
02:14dealing with a grid that is able to be more reliable, more efficient and also provides a platform for future
02:24use
02:25solutions that our customers need on a daily basis. Thank you.
02:39The next generation network is a really unique balance where in the next seven to ten years there have
02:46been industry studies published that there needs to be a 200 percent increase in power systems professionals
02:50and there's so much to learn. There is old infrastructure, new infrastructure, there's an
02:55incorporation of AI and where to start. The secret next generation network is a great place to do that.
03:01They have working groups and study committees where even as a young professional coming in new to the
03:05industry you can work alongside the global leaders and experts and find an easy path into technical
03:12expertise, mentorship and being able to change the way that the power system is going to continue to
03:17grow to support strong reliable power around the world.
03:29The national committees have a number of responsibilities that include the promoting the benefits of
03:37cigarette within the country, also organizing workshops, conferences, meetings and so on.
03:45also they have the responsibility to revise and coordinate all the contributions from the members
03:55through the different meetings or symposium and the more administrative duty which is the collecting the fees for the members.
04:07But I would highlight among all the responsibility to engage the experts within the country creating the ecosystem
04:19to share the knowledge among the experts and also attracting new talent to the to the SIGRE which is
04:29the most important duty for the national committee.
