00:28inclination that this was close. It seems like two sides that are very dug in, and it depends
00:35who's going to give, when, can they meet in the middle? Is that possible? I'm not sure,
00:41but I was talking to one agent who has had a lot of dealings with the Patriots in the past,
00:47and he was like, it'll get done three days before the regular season opens. Is that right? Yeah.
00:51Yeah. And so, I think last time we talked, so this coming Monday, or whenever they're back,
00:58I forgot to look at the schedule, they might not be back until Tuesday on the practice field.
01:04That's sort of the next marker for me, because that's when, all in on Seattle, here we go,
01:10you would like to have it done by then. And then we're talking about, you know, Monday,
01:16right before the Seattle game. So, that's what the agent thinks. Is that, do you buy that? Do you feel
01:22that? Yes. I feel like there will be some resolution by Monday right before the Seattle game. Yes. And
01:32do I think it'll be a long-term contract extension? Why do you feel that way? Because just knowing how
01:40the Patriots do things over the years, and again, this is when Bill was here. So, I'm just sort of
01:47going off that. They don't really do anything until there's a hard deadline to where it's, you know,
01:55and Gonzalez being cagey about whether he's going to play week one yesterday, totally would have done
02:00that, agree with doing that. I think him speaking yesterday and the way he spoke, I think put pressure
02:08on the organization. I think it was designed to do that. And him not giving an indication whether
02:16he's going to play week one. They get to that week, and they get to that practice Monday, like right
02:22before, they're getting ready to leave. And he's not out there or pulls a hammy. I mean, good luck
02:29with that. Good luck going out on national television in front of the whole NFL world. And there's Devin
02:35Witherspoon with a contract extension, blitzing off the slot and sacking Drake May. And where's
02:41Christian Gonzalez? Standing on the sideline? Not there? Don't forget Jackson Smith and Jigba.
