00:00Are you guys already thinking about vacation 2027 always? Yeah, this is a topic that's going on in my house
00:06right now
00:06Because we often vacation with my friend Jane and her family and she's like, hey, we're like budgeting and planning
00:12for next year
00:13Are you guys in so we've been thinking about it a lot? It turns out we're not alone
00:17Lonely planet is a publication that has also been thinking about it and they just announced their best travel 2027
00:23list
00:25Now they say the goal is not to tell everybody to go to the same spot, right?
00:29It's to help people find experiences that make them want to go to someplace new
00:34So they're highlighting places that may not normally be at the top of your list
00:39Okay
00:40So I will say that these have been chosen by their more than 1,000 travel experts
00:45There are spots all over the world, but there are seven in the United States
00:49So I thought we could play a little game with you and Jeff and Donnie
00:53And I'll give you the region and you tell me what state you think they're telling us to go to
00:58Okay, this is fun
00:59So we're going to start in the mid-Atlantic region
01:03I think you got a mid-Atlantic
01:06D.C. Go to D.C.
01:08Go to Maryland
01:09It's actually Maryland
01:10Just in general
01:10Yeah, which I thought you would love, Jeff
01:12My home state
01:13Born there, yes
01:14Okay, there's also a spot in New England
01:19Connecticut
01:20Not Connecticut
01:21Maine
01:22No
01:23One more guess
01:24Is it Boston?
01:25I mean, let's
01:26Vermont
01:26Well, it should be
01:28We should all spend more time in Boston
01:29But no, it's Rhode Island
01:30Rose Island
01:31Rhode Island
01:32Beautiful this time of year
01:33Dr. Christy K's state made the list
01:36Minnesota
01:37Minnesota
01:38Wow, go to the Midwest
01:40Yeah, northeastern Minnesota is what they're saying there
01:42Okay, so this state is not part of the contiguous United States
01:47Puerto Rico
01:47Nope
01:49I don't know what that means
01:50So, I'm gonna
01:51It's not part of the 48 that are attached
01:53Oh, Hawaii
01:54Alaska
01:55Alaska
01:56Let's go
01:5650-50 shot, Nani
01:58Yeah
01:58Okay, there's just two more on here
02:00Southeastern U.S.
02:02Southeastern
02:03Yeah
02:03That would be
02:04But we don't really think of it as a southern state
02:07Although it is
02:08But, you know, like you think of your southern states
02:10There's like a cluster of them
02:11And then this is a different one
02:13That is a huge vacation destination already
02:16South Carolina
02:17Asheville
02:18I mean, I guess we consider that a southern state
02:20Yeah
02:21And South Carolina
02:22We consider a southern
02:23No, Miami, Florida
02:24Oh, okay
02:24I feel like we just
02:25The floor is almost like its own country
02:26That is not the south
02:27Yeah, yeah, right
02:28I'm agreeing with you
02:29Like, that
02:29I would not be like
02:30Oh, I'm going
02:30I'm going down south
02:32Where are you going?
02:32Miami
02:32It's like, eh
02:33Yeah, I mean, it definitely is south
02:35But it's not a southern
02:36Totally
02:37They all don't have that
02:38Drill and all that
02:38Yep
02:39Alright, and then finally
02:40There's an area of northern California
02:43That made this list
02:44California
02:45And I don't really know anything in California
02:47But they say
02:47Visit the Redwoods Park
02:49Oh, wow
02:50The parks up there are gorgeous
02:52So go check that out this summer
02:53That is a great
02:54I mean, listen
02:55Me, I prefer my woods green
02:56But like, red
02:57Definitely, I think, would work
02:59Maybe because you just haven't seen them
03:01That's true
03:02Good point
03:03I got to be more open
03:05More accepting of different colored wood
03:07You know what I mean?
03:07I like Tiger Woods
03:08Tiger Woods?
03:10That's a different kind for sure
03:11Yeah
03:11Yeah
03:11Yeah
03:12Yeah
03:12Yeah
03:12But I know
03:12I think it's going to be better
03:12I think it's going to be better
03:12But I know
03:12Yeah
03:12Yeah
03:12Yeah
03:13Yeah
03:13I think it's going to be better
03:14You
