00:00Day 16 of building and British inspired village. Today we're getting straight in with the first
00:04build which is this small brick house. I used deep slate for the roof before then texturing
00:07the walls with granite. I feel that these blocks just work perfect together. From here I added
00:11some windows to the front as well as to the side and then added this simple drain pipe design using
00:15fences with a hopper on top. Next up was to add detail and colour. Easily the fastest way to take
00:20any build to the next level. I finished by fencing off a garden to the side and that completes the
00:25first house. Now just across the road from this I'm finally building something you've all been
00:29asking for. Something every British town needs. That is of course an chip and fish shop. I've gone
00:33for a stone and deep slate design here with mossy cobblestone mixed in to show a sign of age and
00:38like
00:38what seems to be with every chip shop there's going to be some housing on the upper floor. So I've
00:41added
00:42a staircase on the outside for direct access. After adding a small extension to the left side it was
00:46time we made the most of the riverside location. So I first expanded the land to give us more space
00:50and then added some outside seating for those few days a year we don't have any rain. I finished with
00:55a small dock to give access to the boats and then hung a sign above the front door and that
01:00completes
01:01our chip shop. Now next up one of you guys asked me to add an allotment and I thought this
01:05was a
01:06great idea. A place where the villagers can rent a plot to grow their own crops. So I decided to
01:10replace a small field we had and divided it up into 12 sections. I then added all different kinds of
01:14crops for a nice variety of colour and finished by designing a few small sheds and dotted these around
01:18two and we're done. I love for day 17.
