00:00day 17 of building and british inspired village where today we're getting straight to it and
00:04finally building a train station now the first thing to do was to clear some space to make room
00:08for building and i chose this spot just above the farm next i lay down a simple track design using
00:12stairs and slabs with some dirt and gravel underneath now i'm going to be extending this
00:16road and building a level crossing but we'll get back to that a bit later but now the focus is
00:20on
00:20the main platform and the station building i wanted to go for that classic old school train
00:24station this is inspired by one from the late 1800s now after adding some texturing to the roof
00:28it was time to add the doors and windows to the front and i then built a small extension off
00:32to
00:32the side i added some windows and detail to the back wall and then it was time to add our
00:36overhang
00:36above the platform essential for those rainy british days i topped the roof off with some
00:40chimneys and then built some small brick walls around the edge all that's left was some finishing
00:44touches starting with this buffer stop at the end of the track and i finished with some benches to
00:48sit down along the platform and that completes our train station now it's time to get to that level
00:54crossing i mentioned earlier so i started by continuing our road design across the other side
00:58and then built both the gates and lights to complete the crossing now if you're interested
01:01you can download this world over on my patreon and explore this entire village for yourself
01:05now after adding a small path i placed custom trees all around the outside to help blend it
01:09in with the surroundings and then decided that i also wanted a car park so i removed some of
01:13these trees and built one just next door of course riddled with potholes just like real life
01:17and we're done well for day 18
01:19you
