00:00Day 24 of building and British Inspired Village, where today we're expanding and adding a road of
00:04larger houses. The first step was to create a space for building, and I chose this spot at the
00:08top of the village along the river. Now after clearing the land and smoothing the terrain,
00:12I laid down some blocks to plan out the road, which we'll get back to later.
00:15For now, it's time to work on the first house, and for this one I've gone for a Tudor style,
00:19where the exposed wooden beams really define this whole look. I copied this to the back,
00:23then topped it with a spruce roof with a dark oak trim. It was then time to add the door
00:27and
00:27windows to the front, and to make the roof a bit more interesting, I placed in a dormer window on
00:31this large section, and then textured it with mud and copper stairs. Next, it's time for the details,
00:36and adding leaves and flowers really helps bring life and colour to any build. I built a simple
00:40stone chimney on this side wall, and then it was time to add the gardens around the house,
00:44of course including a nicely mowed lawn on the front, and for the back, I first surrounded it
00:48with trees, and then added in some small details like this bench and this garden shed. Now we had
00:53a bit more space behind this, so I extended the garden and built a swimming pool back here,
00:57something a lot of rich houses have, but it would only be warm enough to use for about two weeks
01:01of the year. And that completes the first house. Moving over to the second house now,
01:05and for this one I've gone for more of a modern style, using brick and sandstone for a nice
01:09contrast. I added the door and windows to the front, and then and double garage off to the side
01:13to store some expensive vehicles. After adding some texture, I added the windows to the back wall,
01:17as well as a chimney to the side. Now we need to blend it in with the rest of the
01:20village,
01:20starting with the front garden, then heading round the back and adding some smaller details,
01:24and of course, and tennis court. And that completes house two. To finish, we need to add the road and
01:30connect it to the rest of the village. And if you're interested in exploring this for yourself,
01:34you can download the world over on my Patreon. To finish, I built a small path through this
01:38woodland that we had, and connected it through to the church. And we're done. We'll have a day 25.
