00:00The other big story, of course, and this is the story that goes round and round,
00:03and we really don't know where it's going to end,
00:06the Los Angeles Dodgers and their owner, Mark Walter, under a ton of fire
00:10over some loans and insurance companies and certainly money
00:13as to how the Dodgers were able to sort of fund their payroll
00:17and fund some of the things the team is doing, their TV contract also into play.
00:22Stan Kasten, the Dodgers president and part owner,
00:26said on a potential sale by Mark Walter or even the Guggenheim company,
00:30the Dodgers are not being sold, they're not going to be sold, they're not for sale,
00:34there's no process that has been started to sell it, period.
00:38Meanwhile, Walter, in some reports, is selling his shares of the Lakers.
00:43Also, his soccer team could be involved to maybe pay off some of these fines
00:50or money that's coming in.
00:51My understanding, Tom, is what Kasten says I think is accurate.
00:55I think the Dodgers are not going to be sold, and I think they're not for sale,
00:58and I think that someone else will step in.
01:01But Mark Walter's future, I think, in all of this is definitely a question.
01:04I think that's the one part of this that is yet to come down.
01:08Yeah, this is also a bit of a confusing situation.
01:11To your point, I don't think the Dodgers are going to be sold.
01:13This is not like when a GM says, oh, we're not trading a player,
01:16we're not trading a player.
01:17I think that's a little bit different.
01:18I think the Dodgers will end up being fine.
01:21Whoever's at the helm, that may be different in a year or two.
