00:42But in a short game series, I'm still taking the Brewers or the Dodgers over them.

01:20It looks like they have one out to go.
01:22And Ryan Webb is doing a good job here closing out the game for the Cubs in the ninth.
01:26So, look, the Cubs have, if not the best player in baseball, they have one of them in Pete
01:33Armstrong.
01:33We would acknowledge that.
01:35He's going to go 30-30, maybe 40-40 this season.
01:39He's an MVP-type candidate.
01:40They have Alex Bregman.
01:42They have a really good team.
01:45But was Clay Holmes enough at the deadline where, in a five-game series, you feel scared
01:52of the Cubs pitching staff?
01:53I personally don't.

01:56So, I still think a long way to go before the season ends and anything can happen.

02:15They had, I think, a 10-game lead on the wild card, and they completely fell out of it.

02:47So, listen, they made the moves they felt they needed to make in order to give themselves

02:55And they did just get that final out here.
02:58So, 7-6, they will have won this one right on the heels of the Milwaukee Brewers, who don't
03:05seem to have a lot of breathing room.
03:07We'll see how it continues to go there.
03:09But, my goodness, Cubs looking good there.
03:14Bregman finally starting to hit.
03:15And, of course, they got a guy that's right up there for the MVP, like you mentioned,
