00:00and I'm looking forward to this Dodgers Phillies game because you have Aaron Nola going for the
00:07Phillies who the Phillies never win his games when he starts and then you have Eric Lauer who
00:14everybody runs to the window to look to fade like his name is Patrick Corbin the problem is the
00:19Dodgers never lose any of his starts so something has got to give in this game here obviously Nola
00:26not having the kind of year that we thought he would whether it's on the road or at home in
00:32the
00:33weather last night Dodgers squeaked one out got one back what happens in this one you think here Craig
00:39well going back to last night it was I look I don't know that the Phillies would have won but
00:43they certainly gave the last couple outs away unfortunately my good buddy JT Real Muto
00:49I mean an all-timer for him I think he's going to look back on that one running back to
00:54second base
00:54when they threw the ball in a run down to third base haven't seen that one in a long time
00:59so
00:59was not happy to see that for for my guy there JT who is one of my favorites ever in
01:04the history of
01:05the game but uh look I I think you know this is one of those games that probably comes right
01:11down
01:11to the end Joe it feels like these teams on paper are pretty close everyone wants to believe that the
01:16Dodgers will run away with everything and they may for the division but as we saw in the World Series
01:20last
01:21year when you get two very competitive teams and two teams that could be playing each other in the
01:26NLCS or maybe even at any point in the postseason you know it's going to be a battle look there's
01:32no
01:32question that Aaron Nola is not having his best season you would wonder Joe if the Phillies acquired
01:37a pitcher next week what would Aaron Nola be I mean I think they owe it to Aaron Nola to
01:42keep him in that
01:42rotation but I don't think I don't know about you but I don't think he's part of a postseason
01:47rotation that has Christopher Sanchez and Zach Wheeler and Jesus Lizardo and if they get another
01:52I don't know where that would leave Aaron Nola but certainly he's been one of the greatest pitchers in
01:57the history of their franchise it just doesn't look like he's got a ton left in the tank so I
02:02would
02:03play the first five in this one I would probably play LA but I wouldn't guarantee that that's a win
02:08because it could be two to one in the fifth inning and I certainly don't have full trust in the
02:12Dodgers bullpen until they get some of those guys back healthy namely Edwin Diaz who seems like he'll
02:17be back in the next week or two so Dodgers bullpen still very strong but to me his shoe's going
02:22to
02:22drop eventually on Lauer and the question is can his left-handed arm get out Schwarber get out Bryce
02:29Harper get out Brandon Marsh those are the kind of the key figures I think involved in that game today
02:35yeah and it's I think it's going to be one of two things either it's going to be a back
02:40and forth
02:40slugfest or it's it's just going to be runs are going to be tough to come by I don't think
02:46it's
02:46going to be anything uh in the middle here but as bad as that was with Romero last night I'm
02:53not sure
02:53Otani trying to take second base and then not hustling at home for the third out was just
02:59another one of those I've seen little league teams execute this better than anything else but
03:06you went from a 10-7 game on Monday to the series opener to a 2-1 game last night
03:12what are we going
03:13to get tonight with two less than stellar pitchers I think that should be a fun one that is coming
03:19up
03:19in just a little over an hour here
03:22you
