00:00I got to ask you what Troy Aikman's comments about your,
00:04your opinion on Troy Aikman's comments here, you know,
00:07this week he comes out and he was asked about the fans of the Cowboys.
00:12And he basically came out and said, Hey,
00:14it starts at the top right now.
00:15And the issues with this football team over the last 30 years has started at
00:20the top with Jerry Jones.
00:21Why do you think there's such an adversarial relationship between Troy and
00:25and Jerry,
00:27how has Troy Aikman working in the front office with the Miami Dolphins and
00:31not working in the front office with the Dallas Cowboys?
00:35I mean,
00:36is it just really that Troy reminds Jerry Jones of Jimmy Johnson?
00:45Well, keep in mind, there's probably many reasons,
00:48but among them,
00:49one of the reasons Bill Belichick is not in Dallas right now is Jerry Jones is
00:53not willing to secede power to anybody.
00:56You know, Jerry Jones is the voice.
00:58He is the face.
00:59He is the decision maker.
01:00And you can't have someone with Troy Aikman's hopeful influence in that
01:04structure.
01:05He needs to go to Miami where his voice can be heard.
01:07Like Tom Brady had to go to Vegas for his voice to be heard.
01:10You can't have Jerry can't be surrounded with other people that aren't going to
01:13be yes men in his direction.
01:15It's why it doesn't work out with various coaches along the way,
01:18but you know,
01:19I'll tell you what,
01:20and it's a longer conversation,
01:21but the Micah Parsons trade is looking at least right now,
01:25like it could be a win for Dallas.
01:26And I'm happy to do that.
