India are in a strong position to beat Sri Lanka on the final day of the opening Test in Galle.

The visitors were all out for 193 in their second innings to set the Sri Lankans 372.

But the hosts closed on 84 for 4, still requiring 288 with six wickets in hand.

00:23Rahul chipped in with 35 and Padikal scored 44.
00:29By the time both were dismissed, it was 111 for 4 with India aiming for a huge lead.
00:37The man to shine with willow in hand in the second innings was keeper batter Rishabh Pant.
00:44He was scoring rapidly and went on to get 66 of 69 walls.
00:48He kept picking his deliveries and the moment he found a little bit of room, this was short as well.
