The West Indies were trounced by 238 runs by hosts England in the opening ODI in Birmingham.

Four batsmen scored fifties for the English to take them to 400 for 8, while Jayden Seales took 4 for 84 from nine overs.

In reply, the West Indies were bundled out for 162 from 26.2 overs, with Seales scoring 29 not out.
