00:00A Wawasan leader has dismissed as baseless Bersatu Vice President Ahmad Faizal Azumu's
00:05claim that Wawasan controls or influences all decisions made by the Perikatan national
00:10leadership.
00:11Wawasan Information Chief Wan Ahmad Faizal Wan Ahmad Kamal pointed out that his party
00:16was much smaller than past and described the accusation as the ravings of someone who had
00:21clearly lost support in PN.
00:23He told FMT that PN's component parties had good relations, except with Bersatu, which
00:28he claimed had frequently gone against decisions made by the coalition's leaders.
00:32Wan Faizal argued that PAS's position that Bersatu had automatically ceased to be part
00:37of PN after announcing plans to form a new political coalition was evident in itself.
00:42He likened Bersatu's position to the Malay idiom,
00:45Hidung tak manchung, pipi tersorong sorong,
00:48referring to someone pushing themselves forward despite being unwelcome.
00:51PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang previously maintained that under PN's constitution,
00:56any party choosing to join or form another alliance would automatically lose its membership.
01:02However, PN Chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar later stated that Bersatu remained a component
01:07of the coalition.
