00:25Thank you for watching.
00:30My dear believing brothers and sisters, Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was one of the shining stars in the heavens of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
00:38Hopefully, today we will try to turn the pages of our lives together here.
00:42My brothers and sisters, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) offered a prayer concerning Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him).
00:51And he said, "O Lord, make Abdullah knowledgeable in religion and teach him the science of interpretation."
00:56And as one of the miracles of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Allah Almighty accepted his prayer and guided Abdullah in the faith.
01:05He made him a jurist and taught him the science of interpretation.
01:08So, my brothers, look, our master Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was called Hamrul Ilm (the Bear of Knowledge) in the place known as the Arabian Peninsula.
01:18So he was called a genius of science.
01:20He was also called Hamrul Arab, the genius of the Arabs, the prodigy of the Arabs.
01:25So much so that, because of this prayer made by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was called by the sultan of commentators.
01:34it was said.
01:34So people called him the sultan of commentators.
01:39My brothers, our scholars say that everyone wants to be a scholar, everyone wants to be a devout worshipper, everyone wants to be a jurist, but to be a jurist...
01:48They said three conditions are needed for that.
01:51In other words, to be a master of interpretation, to be the essence of knowledge, to be a genius of science, one must be sent by Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
02:00He said that three conditions are necessary in order to be able to gather all the knowledge one possesses within oneself.
02:06They stated that unless these three conditions are met, a person cannot progress on the path to becoming a scholar; they will stumble.
02:14One of them said, "My dear brothers, the first condition necessary for a person to become a scholar is divine employment."
02:23In other words, unless God wills it, unless God desires it, a person cannot become a scholar.
02:31What is the best proof of this?
02:33We know that those who are called learned, those who know a lot of information, are not actually learned.
02:38Look, for example, at the people in the Faculty of Theology today, look at the professors, the associate professors, they know so many verses from the Quran, so many...
02:47Those who have memorized the Quran know so many of the Prophet's hadiths that...
02:50But because they did not act upon what they knew, and because they concealed what they knew out of fear or for fear of losing their positions,
03:00Unfortunately, my dear brothers and sisters, they are people who, by God's divine will, do not possess the capacity to become scholars.
03:09Therefore, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him),
03:15He said, "O Allah, make him poor in religion," and Allah accepted his prayer, and Allah made Abdullah ibn Abbas a scholar.
03:23to be,
03:24He wished for him to become a sultan of interpretation, and so he became a scholar, my brothers.
03:28They said this is the first point. The second point, they said, is what a person needs to be to become a scholar.
03:34Our scholars need to be in a very good position.
03:38So what do we mean by that?
03:40The home environment in which this person grew up was not one where the mother was obsessed with furniture,
03:47rather than a mindset where the father is engaged in the capitalist system
03:53They say that only learned people emerge from a home environment created to glorify the name of God and the Prophet.
04:00Or has the mother become enslaved to worldly possessions?
04:05They say that a scholar can never emerge from a house where the father is consumed by worldly ambition and a lust for power, and that this is the only worldly perspective they have.
04:14Doesn't it happen a little bit like that here too?
04:17For example, in our own world, we want our children to be like Abu Hanifa.
04:22We want it to be Imam Shafi'i, or perhaps Imam Malik's.
04:26But while we speak like Abel, what are our actions like Cain?
04:31We make vows, don't we?
04:32Remember when Abel and Cain offered sacrifices to God, and Abel's sacrifice was chosen by God in the best way?
04:39His sacrifice was accepted, while Cain's was rejected because it was a very bad choice.
04:46What are we doing as the parents of our children?
04:49We're trying to make the best child in the family a doctor or an engineer.
04:53They sent even the child considered perhaps the most dim-witted in the house to an Imam Hatip school,
04:58Because we have dedicated such a child to God so that he may learn God's religion, become an imam, and a preacher,
05:04God will neither produce from this child an Abu Hanifa, nor a sultan of commentators like Abdullah ibn Abbas.
05:12People create them.
05:13Then, my brothers, from the environments in which those who will become scholars are raised,
05:20One of the sources they mentioned was:
05:23Our scholars should have a school, a school.
05:26Therefore, a person who wants to become a scholar needs to have a respected teacher to whom they have pledged allegiance.
05:32It needs to be a Sufi lodge.
05:35Or is it that what we call today's faculties of theology,
05:39My brothers and sisters, no scholars will ever emerge from these places we call Quran schools today.
05:44Only those who come from these places study the sociology of religion, study the philosophy of religion,
05:49There are critics who question the verses of the Quran and the sayings of the Prophet, aren't there?
05:54That's usually how it turns out.
05:56And what is the reason?
05:57Because the environment in which they found themselves was less suited to teaching God's religion in order to correct themselves and revive society,
06:07Because people in theological faculties become engrossed in positions of power and status, in pursuit of fame and glory,
06:14Of course, we are excluding some good ones, but generally speaking, this is the kind of education that is provided.
06:20Unfortunately, instead of learned scholars and commentators, my brothers, we have people criticizing the Islamic religion from these places.
06:26Those who say that God's verses are historical,
06:29Those who say that there are sayings of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mixed into the Quran,
06:34There are even professors and associate professors who say that some of these verses should be removed from the Quran.
06:40Unfortunately, since they are not in such a context, they can never be categorized as scholars.
06:46My brothers and sisters, look, our scholars have said under this second point that:
06:50They also say that the social circles of children who will become scholars are very important.
06:55So you need a circle of friends who will take you to conversations and scholarly gatherings.
07:02Because why?
07:03Abdullah ibn Abbas grew up in an environment where...
07:05Instead of his friends inviting him to the football match,
07:09rather than calling to the scales,
07:11And rather than just inviting them for a coffee chat somewhere else,
07:16Like Abdullah ibn Omar, like Hasan and Husayn,
07:20What did those people (may Allah be pleased with them all) do there?
07:23My brothers have drawn each other to scholarly gatherings.
07:27That's absolutely true.
07:28So look at your friends around you.
07:31If you truly want to become a scholar,
07:33And if you want to follow the path of the scholars,
07:35the friends you have made around you, the companions you have made, the siblings you have made,
07:42If people increase your knowledge with their knowledge,
07:46If they are uplifting you, do not leave them, my dear brothers and sisters.
07:51But when you go there, they talk about football matches, they talk about gossip,
07:55They constantly talk about what's happening in the political arena, but they never mention the word of God.
08:00What should be done with friends who don't mention the sayings of the Prophet?
08:05We need to stay away.
08:06From where?
08:07To become a scholar,
08:09or in order to walk alongside scholars,
08:12We also need to have this kind of sensitivity.
08:15My dear brothers and sisters, our scholars have said that...
08:17As a third point,
08:19If a person wants to become a scholar,
08:21He said she would desire it herself.
08:24So, a desire will come from within the person.
08:26So I want to be a reflection of God's attribute of knowledge on Earth,
08:31I want to convey God's religion to people.
08:34I want to establish God's religion on earth.
08:37He will do this job of his own free will, of his own desire.
08:40Or is it that the child is not doing this so that his mother will be happy that he has memorized the Quran?
08:45Or, so that my child, my mother, and my father may be proud that I am a scholar,
08:51He won't go down this road.
08:52Because this is, unfortunately, a negotiated path,
08:56In a bargaining manner with God,
08:58To those who learn their own science, their own religion,
09:01Unfortunately, my brothers and sisters,
09:02They say that the quality of being a scholar doesn't confer the title of scholar.
09:05So, one day, look,
09:07Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
09:09As the Sultan of Commentators said,
09:12Abdullah ibn Abbas,
09:13They asked our Prophet (peace be upon him),
09:15They said,
09:16When Abdullah was asked how he acquired so much knowledge,
09:19My brothers mentioned two points.
09:21He said,
09:22Firstly, I learned it out of my own free will.
09:25So I've made this my job,
09:28I chose it as my profession.
09:29I saw this as a premonition for myself,
09:33And because I desired this, I became a scholar.
09:36The second one said,
09:37I became a scholar because I possessed stability.
09:40Allahu Akbar.
09:41Why are people like this today, for example?
09:43perform an act of worship,
09:44They can't continue afterwards.
09:46Perhaps they desire it,
09:48They are excited,
09:49But, my dear brothers and sisters,
09:51It seems that simply wishing isn't enough,
09:53You need to be consistent when doing this job.
09:56Look,
09:57Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
09:58He tells us,
10:00The most beautiful deed that is valid and acceptable in the sight of God,
10:04even if only a little,
10:05He says it's a procedure that's performed continuously.
10:07Over there,
10:08The word "continuously" is very important, isn't it?
10:10Well,
10:11steadily,
10:12an action performed,
10:14even if only a little,
10:14In the sight of God,
10:16He says it's valuable.
10:16But what are we doing?
10:17For example, we get excited,
10:19We are approaching a galeana,
10:20We say, "I will donate this much,"
10:22That's all.
10:23We say we will learn knowledge,
10:24But unfortunately, it failed to show stability,
10:27So what do we do next?
10:27Three days, five days,
10:28We are interested in Ali Imran,
10:30three days, five days,
10:30We are interested in Bukhari Muslim,
10:32So what do we do next?
10:33On the faces of those books,
10:34We're not looking again.
10:35If we do it this way,
10:36If we don't have stability,
10:38What won't God do?
10:39So, we are also the ones who possess knowledge,
10:41to the category of learned people,
10:43My brothers won't let them in.
10:44For him, Allah Almighty,
10:46performing surgeries, albeit infrequently and consistently,
10:49reading books
10:50Those who read the Quran,
10:51reciting hadith
10:52those who study Islamic jurisprudence
10:53that we are Muslims,
10:54May God grant it and make it effective.
10:56Look, my brothers and sisters,
10:57This is so important,
10:58Abdullah ibn Amr,
10:59radiyallahu anh,
11:01In Medina,
11:02He started fasting every day.
11:04Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
11:05They complained about our Prophet to Abdullah.
11:07He called,
11:08peace and blessings be upon him,
11:09Abdullah said,
11:10Why do you fast every day?
11:12Don't do that, he said.
11:13If you fast for three days of the month,
11:16And if you fast for three days every month,
11:19He said that you would have fasted every day of the year.
11:21This will be difficult for your ego,
11:23Your eyes have a right over you,
11:25Your spouse has rights over you.
11:27He told me not to do that.
11:28O Messenger of Allah,
11:28"I have the power," he said.
11:30Abdullah said,
11:31If you're going to do it anyway,
11:33He said to continue fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.
11:35O Messenger of Allah,
11:36"That's not enough for me," he said.
11:37I want to fast every day.
11:39And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
11:41Abdullah said,
11:42If you're going to fast, this is the best fast,
11:44He said it was the fast of David.
11:45Hold on for a day,
11:46Then he said, "Don't hold it for a day."
11:48And our Master Abdullah ibn Hanim, may Allah be pleased with him,
11:51until the end of my life, my brothers,
11:52Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
11:54He heeded that advice,
11:55He fasted for one day,
11:56He did not fast for a single day.
11:57And when he grew old, he said,
12:00I wish our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
12:02Even if I had listened to him,
12:04If I had heeded his advice,
12:07as he said,
12:08only on Monday or Thursday,
12:09Or if I fasted three days a month,
12:11I'm old now,
12:13I have grown old,
12:15"Therefore, my brothers and sisters said, 'My ego is now forcing me to do this.'"
12:18Therefore,
12:19So it means we should listen to wise advice.
12:22One should listen to a teacher's advice.
12:24You have to listen to an older brother's advice.
12:26If you've seen a lot,
12:27an older brother who has been through it,
12:28a teacher,
12:29a prophet,
12:30If he/she tells you not to do it this way,
12:32Don't do that, my dear brother.
12:33Don't do that.
12:34If you don't want to regret it,
12:36don't do that.
12:37Look,
12:37Abdullah ibn Amr,
12:38Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
12:40What didn't he do there as a senior?
12:43Let's say maybe he didn't listen,
12:44Let's not say that, but...
12:45To our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
12:47So there,
12:48Saying, "O Messenger of Allah, I can do even more,"
12:50his word,
12:51perhaps to do more,
12:54He ignored it, though.
12:55He says he struggled with it afterwards as well.
12:56Isn't it?
12:57Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
12:58Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
13:00this religion,
13:00He revealed his most beautiful teaching.
13:02Therefore, we need to be stable.
13:05Are we going to a chat?
13:06Let's show consistency.
13:07Are we going to a meeting?
13:09Let's show consistency.
13:10Is there a Quran that we have read?
13:11Regularly,
13:12Absolutely, without a doubt,
13:14Let's show consistency,
13:16Let us follow the path of the scholars.
13:18Look, my dear brothers and sisters,
13:19Abdullah ibn Abbas,
13:20Our Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
13:21In 618 AD,
13:24In Mecca,
13:26In the 8th year of the prophethood,
13:27He was born into the world.
13:29Because of the siege of Shibli Abu Talib,
13:31There was a siege.
13:32As we all know,
13:33During the Meccan period,
13:34sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
13:36Those who believe in our Prophet,
13:37a handful of Muslims,
13:39The polytheists of Mecca,
13:40For 3 years,
13:41They imposed an embargo.
13:42They didn't give them any food,
13:44They gave no water.
13:45neither did they take daughters from them,
13:46They gave away a girl.
13:47Within such an embargo,
13:49Abdullah ibn Abbas,
13:51Our Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
13:52He was born into the world.
13:53My dear brothers and sisters,
13:54Our scholars say that,
13:56in difficult times,
13:58They say great men are born into this world.
14:01Allahu Akbar.
14:02Look,
14:02in difficult times,
14:04Great men are born into the world.
14:05So you,
14:06The moment you say it's over,
14:08God gives you,
14:09Believe me, it produces great men.
14:11From where you end, God
14:13I, along with those great men, was enough for you.
14:15"My servants," my brothers say.
14:16That's absolutely true.
14:17Here is Abdullah ibn Abbas,
14:19born in such difficult times,
14:21And here it is,
14:22Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
14:24He supported his religion.
14:25Look, for example,
14:26Let's just say this,
14:2725-30 years ago,
14:28one in this country,
14:30There was an atrocity on February 28th.
14:31There was a postmodern coup.
14:33Those were tough times.
14:35And so much so that,
14:36in those difficult times,
14:38She gave birth to men who,
14:39those difficult times,
14:40So, truly, God's religion,
14:42so that it may rule the earth,
14:44struggling,
14:45The mujahideen came out,
14:46And then my brothers,
14:48And so 30 years have passed,
14:49Unfortunately, those hard times are gone.
14:52Times of prosperity have arrived,
14:53Times of abundance have arrived.
14:55not in many people,
14:57The religion of God,
14:58so that it may rule the earth,
14:59One problem remains,
15:00nor,
15:00sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
15:02The teachings of our Prophet,
15:03to convey to people,
15:05A pang of pain remains.
15:06So that day,
15:07people who are mujahideen,
15:08in those difficult times,
15:09Unfortunately, many of them currently
15:11Look, they've become contractors!
15:13isn't it?
15:13Well,
15:14They evolved,
15:15They underwent a revolution.
15:16What is the reason?
15:17Reason,
15:18It was during those difficult times,
15:20that is, the worship we have shown to God,
15:23My brothers lost when abundance came.
15:25We lost when abundance came.
15:27The reason we are ascetics,
15:29It was because of our poverty,
15:31thence,
15:32that asceticism of ours,
15:32when you see the abundance,
15:33What did we do?
15:34We lost.
15:35Therefore,
15:36What should we do?
15:37In difficult times,
15:38He took the teachings of people who were tough guys,
15:42When we reach easier times,
15:44We shouldn't back down.
15:45Look,
15:46Gaza has gone through a difficult time.
15:48And God from there,
15:49It brought out men like Yahya Simvar,
15:50isn't it?
15:51Only Israeli soldiers,
15:53Yahya Simvar, who was found in a house,
15:55You saw the printed images,
15:57He was left with only a stick in his hand.
15:58There's one last thing left to do,
16:00What was he even doing with that?
16:02Israel was dropping drones,
16:03isn't it?
16:03What does it show us?
16:05Look,
16:05I'm in difficult times,
16:07I took on difficult tasks,
16:08then at this moment,
16:09We are also in this environment,
16:10Honestly,
16:11rationalist philosophies have been,
16:13positive sciences,
16:14that it has been turned into an idol,
16:16women,
16:16men,
16:17other than science,
16:19that he did not worship anything,
16:20We arrived at an environment,
16:21isn't it?
16:22You say, "God says so,"
16:23You say the prophet describes it this way,
16:25my teacher,
16:26"Science exists," the man says.
16:27Allah,
16:28You say, "He told us to do it like this,"
16:29my teacher,
16:30"This contradicts science," the man says.
16:31At work,
16:31science becoming an idol,
16:33brought,
16:34in these difficult times,
16:35To the book of God,
16:37and the prophet,
16:38Men who adhere to circumcision,
16:40Like Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
16:42difficult times,
16:43because they are tough guys,
16:45We need to say it,
16:46And it will be like this,
16:47We need to observe it.
16:48My dear brothers and sisters,
16:50his father,
16:51Abbas bin,
16:54Abdulmuttalip,
16:55well,
16:55The uncle of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
16:58itself,
16:58Until the conquest of Mecca,
17:00He concealed his faith,
17:01And to our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
17:03He obtained intelligence from Mecca.
17:05Who is their mother, my siblings?
17:06So much so that,
17:07In Islamic history,
17:08His mother is very important.
17:09Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
17:10They called it Lubabatul Kubra,
17:12And they said to Lubabatul Kubra,
17:14Islamic historians,
17:16The Islamic world and Muslims,
17:19"She's like a second mother to her," my siblings said.
17:21Who was his first mother?
17:23Hatice Tül Kübra,
17:24Look, they didn't say her second mother was Ayşe,
17:26They didn't say Umm Kulthum,
17:28They didn't say Zeynep,
17:29Who said that?
17:30They called it Lubabetul Kubra.
17:32Islamic history,
17:34second mother,
17:35Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
17:36Our Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
17:38She was his mother.
17:39My brothers and sisters are like that,
17:40Lubabatul Kubra,
17:41Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
17:43When our Prophet (may Allah be pleased with him) was born,
17:44He took it,
17:45They wrapped our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a swaddle,
17:48He took it away,
17:49Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said of him,
17:51Let him recite the call to prayer in her ear.
17:53so that it can bring gametes to the other ear as well.
17:55Sallallahu Aleyhi Vesselam,
17:57He captured Abdullah ibn Abbas,
17:59gametes in one ear,
18:00After he recited the call to prayer in her other ear,
18:02He picked up a piece of date,
18:03and he moistened his mouth with it like this,
18:06later Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
18:07My brothers, this [talent] touched the lips of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
18:11She put it on her lips.
18:12So much so that,
18:13This date palm, which was used by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
18:16Abdullah ibn Abbas recounted it with pride when he grew up.
18:20He said,
18:20My lips are such beautiful lips,
18:24My lips are so beautiful,
18:26delicate lips,
18:27Before these lips even touched my mother's breast,
18:30The drink that our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) suckled,
18:34she had sucked with her lips,
18:35"It touched that date," my brothers said.
18:37Allahu Akbar,
18:38They call this tahnik.
18:40That is, Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam,
18:42If you were to moisten a date with your lips like this,
18:44If she puts this on another child's lips,
18:47They call this tahnik.
18:48So, my dear brothers and sisters,
18:49When we were born, our mother and father,
18:51wrapping us in a swaddle,
18:53And taking it to Sallallahu Aleyhi Vesselam,
18:55O Messenger of Allah, recite the call to prayer into his ear.
18:57Please bring this to his/her attention.
18:59They didn't say anything like, "Give her a tahnik (a type of lip balm)."
19:02We were deprived of this.
19:03Isn't this a huge loss for us?
19:06But my brothers and sisters,
19:07Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
19:08Remember what he said?
19:10before my mother's breast touched my lips,
19:12to my lips,
19:13The tahnik that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed,
19:16He said it was a disaster, didn't he?
19:18then my brothers,
19:19and to our lips too,
19:21May the verses of Allah, transmitted from our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), touch us.
19:25and to our lips too,
19:27Let's share some hadiths from our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, my brothers and sisters.
19:31So these lips won't speak until they know the starting eleven of such-and-such team,
19:35Shouldn't the ten blessed companions learn about it?
19:39What did our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tell us?
19:41Whoever takes a word from me,
19:43If he tells someone somewhere he's been,
19:45Didn't my brothers say, "May Allah make his face bright"?
19:48Therefore, at that time,
19:51From the tahnik that our Prophet Sallallahu Aleyhi Vesselam performed,
19:56these lips that are deprived,
19:58at least to explain the religion he brought,
20:01In order to pass on the Sunnah that he brought to people,
20:05an effort,
20:06Let him get into a fight.
20:08So these lips of ours,
20:09Don't let it dry up while talking about football,
20:11these lips of ours,
20:13Don't let it dry up while talking about politics,
20:15these lips of ours,
20:16May he perish while preaching the religion of God.
20:18These dry lips,
20:20May God curse religion if it is not!
20:22Here we are too,
20:23On that day, Abdullah ibn Abbas,
20:25From our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
20:27as he/she has been fortunate enough to
20:29Let us all benefit, my brothers.
20:30Look, my dear brothers and sisters,
20:31so much so that,
20:32Abdullah Ibn Abbas,
20:34grandmother,
20:35So, who was his mother's mother?
20:38Hint bin Eslem,
20:39may Allah be pleased with him,
20:41He was a traitor.
20:41And so much so that,
20:42This woman is so important,
20:44It's so valuable,
20:45This woman had nine daughters.
20:47and our hadith books,
20:49this woman's nine daughters,
20:51in hadith books,
20:53My brothers called them the nine believing girls.
20:56Allahu Akbar.
20:57In the books of hadith,
20:59He called them nine believing girls.
21:01What is the reason?
21:02Because this woman chose her sons-in-law so well,
21:05She married off her nine daughters to such handsome grooms that...
21:08Therefore, for this reason,
21:09raised by this woman,
21:11That's how these girls made it into the books.
21:13For example,
21:14She gave one of her daughters to Hazrat Hamza,
21:17She gave one of her daughters to Ja'far ibn Abu Talib.
21:20She gave one of her daughters to Abu Bakr.
21:22Ali, one of his daughters
21:23may Allah be pleased with him,
21:24He gave it to our master,
21:25And to whom did she give her two daughters?
21:27Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
21:29He gave it to our master.
21:30One of them is our mother Zeynep,
21:31The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married her.
21:33Three months later, our mother Zeynep passed away.
21:35And who is the other one, my brothers?
21:37Our mother Meymune.
21:38Well,
21:39Abdullah ibn Abbas,
21:40may Allah be pleased with him,
21:41Our Prophet's aunt.
21:42Look,
21:43so much so that,
21:43This woman has chosen good sons-in-law.
21:45And my brothers have raised virtuous daughters.
21:49Well,
21:49more than just choosing a suitable groom,
21:52We need to raise virtuous daughters as well.
21:55Why my siblings?
21:57Because,
21:58Woman,
21:58As Hasan al-Banna said,
22:01Women make up half of a society.
22:03He says half of it,
22:04He says women give birth.
22:06Therefore,
22:07Look,
22:07Abdullah ibn Abbas,
22:08all the aunts,
22:10They were pious women.
22:11And there was a mother who raised them.
22:13Why are women so important?
22:15in this society,
22:16Can they be virtuous?
22:18Because my brothers and sisters,
22:19Our scholars have said that,
22:21because it is so important,
22:24separating siblings
22:25He said there are four things.
22:26Separating siblings,
22:28There are four things.
22:29To the first one,
22:30They called it property.
22:31Goods,
22:32When an inheritance case intervenes,
22:34What do the siblings do?
22:35Divides,
22:36Parts, right?
22:37They said the second one,
22:38They called it envy.
22:39Jealousy,
22:40He's jealous.
22:40God has bestowed a blessing upon someone,
22:43What does it do to your neck?
22:43He'll be jealous, won't he?
22:45Because she was jealous,
22:46The fraternal relations end.
22:48They said the third one,
22:49They said death,
22:50death.
22:50When death comes,
22:51The brotherhood ends.
22:52They said the fourth one,
22:53Brothers and sisters, buttermilk,
22:54She is a woman.
22:55Woman.
22:56Allahu Akbar.
22:57She is a woman.
22:58Well,
22:59three siblings,
23:00four siblings,
23:01Born to a mother.
23:03These three,
23:04four siblings,
23:05They married them off to women.
23:07Later,
23:08three,
23:09with four siblings,
23:10They become unable to see each other.
23:11Isn't it?
23:12The woman is telling the story from another angle.
23:13We say,
23:14We paid the price for it, he says.
23:16We paid the price for this, he says.
23:17How did you pay the price?
23:19Four brothers,
23:21They have turned each other against each other so much,
23:23The root of the conflict has become such that...
23:26"We paid the price for this," he says.
23:27The price he paid was...
23:29four siblings,
23:30They've stopped speaking to each other.
23:31You will pay this price,
23:33when you go to the other world,
23:35You'll see how they'll be paid.
23:36Therefore,
23:37Scholars have said that,
23:39like this,
23:39wicked women,
23:41women who turn brothers against each other,
23:44Even if they pray until morning,
23:47because they sowed discord and mischief,
23:50Only God knows.
23:51and the acts of worship they perform,
23:52He said it would not be accepted by God.
23:54Therefore,
23:55My brothers and sisters,
23:56a society,
23:57if it is broken,
23:58The women in that society are corrupt.
24:00If a society is corrupt,
24:02women of that society,
24:04Because she is a feminist.
24:05If a society is corrupt,
24:07women in that society,
24:09To the book of God,
24:10It is flawed because they did not come to the prophet.
24:13Isn't it?
24:14Therefore,
24:15at work,
24:15Look,
24:16Abdullah ibn Abbas,
24:17radiyallahu anh,
24:18our lord's,
24:19grandmother,
24:20He raised nine daughters like that.
24:22And,
24:22These girls, you see...
24:23Like Abdullah ibn Abbas,
24:25Like Abdullah ibn Omar,
24:26My siblings raised the children.
24:29God willing,
24:29May women like this emerge from among us.
24:32To raise our children to become women like these,
24:34My Lord,
24:35May it give us strength and,
24:37Let's hope we have such wishes.
24:38My dear siblings.
24:40My brothers and sisters,
24:40so much so that,
24:41In the 6th year of the Hijra,
24:43you know,
24:43The Battle of the Trench took place.
24:45And,
24:46To help Katafan,
24:48What did the polytheists do?
24:49He set out from Mecca.
24:51So much so that,
24:51The distance between Mecca and Medina,
24:53My brothers and sisters,
24:54500 kilometers,
24:55Abdullah ibn Abbas also,
24:57He had secretly joined this group,
24:59This group joined them to use them as a tool,
25:02They came directly to Medina with them.
25:04And,
25:05When you reach a certain point on the road,
25:06He left from there,
25:07later,
25:08He came to our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
25:11And he says,
25:12When I arrived in Medina,
25:14Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
25:16What was he doing?
25:17He said he was digging a trench.
25:18Ditch.
25:19My brothers and sisters,
25:20so much so that,
25:21He even said he would finish digging the trench.
25:22Look,
25:23There's something very important here.
25:24A 13-year-old child,
25:26or,
25:27A 10-year-old child,
25:29To a place 500 kilometers away,
25:32next to our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),
25:34to emigrate,
25:36from his mother,
25:36separated from his father
25:37And he went in that direction.
25:38What about us today?
25:39I passed the 10-year-old child,
25:41He arrived at the age of 18.
25:42children who have passed adolescence,
25:44We can't bring it down from the 10th floor.
25:46isn't it?
25:47What kind of migration did the first one give?
25:49sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
25:50What kind of faith is this?
25:52isn't it?
25:53And here's another subtle detail,
25:55Abdullah ibn Abbas,
25:56Our Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
25:57Look over there,
25:58To the polytheists of Mecca,
25:59polytheists,
26:00Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
26:02He has an army that he's leading to attack.
26:03That army,
26:04He used it as a tool.
26:06And,
26:07What do we understand from this?
26:08So,
26:09polytheists,
26:10infidels,
26:11sometimes vehicles,
26:13if it is legitimate,
26:14They can be evaluated.
26:15We say it is available,
26:16isn't it?
26:16But if it's legitimate,
26:17But what is the man doing today?
26:19This state is called tyranny,
26:21This state says,
26:22He says he rebelled against God.
26:23TRUE,
26:23as a system, this system,
26:25It is a system that has rebelled against God.
26:27But this system is rebelling against God,
26:30your doing illegal things,
26:32We shouldn't pave the way for it.
26:33What is the man doing now?
26:34He says,
26:35I say,
26:36He says his father died.
26:37inherited from my father,
26:37In order to receive your retirement pension,
26:39He asks, "What should I do?"
26:41by taking an illegitimate route,
26:43She is officially divorcing her husband.
26:45He says, "mine"
26:46She says, "I already have an Islamic marriage ceremony."
26:47and officially,
26:48because the state considers her divorced,
26:51inherited from his father
26:52What does he do with that monthly salary?
26:54He gives it to her.
26:55This makes it permissible for him.
26:57Would this be permissible, my brothers?
26:58Either a Muslim country facing another state,
27:02a system that he did not accept
27:04Even if it was a system that he himself did not accept,
27:07He can't lie.
27:09They cannot illegally acquire property from there.
27:12Isn't that right, my brothers and sisters?
27:14Therefore, according to our belief,
27:16According to Sayyid Qutb, may Allah have mercy on him,
27:19The means to an end are never legitimate.
27:22It cannot be broken.
27:23So, by riding the devil's horse,
27:25You can't run to heaven, can you?
27:27Therefore, nobody,
27:28by lying,
27:30By saying, "Such and such a system is like this or like that,"
27:33God forbid, these are actions unbecoming of a Muslim.
27:35My brothers and sisters can't do it.
27:37May God protect us from these things.
27:39The man is now boarding the government train,
27:41anyway, because this is a tyrannical state,
27:43that he had received services illegally,
27:46So, for example, he doesn't pay for the ground.
27:48Or to the electricity meter,
27:50The man is placing a magnet.
27:51He's attaching something else to the natural gas meter.
27:53How can he say it's a system, calling it a tyrannical system?
27:56Look, he's trying to mix the halal with the haram.
27:59And he tries to justify it in his own way.
28:02Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
28:03A Muslim cannot lie.
28:04A Muslim can never mix what is permissible with what is forbidden.
28:08Listen, my brothers and sisters, that is to say:
28:10Abdullah ibn Abbas arrived,
28:11At the age of 8-10, in Medina,
28:13Where will Professor Necati stay?
28:15No mother, no father,
28:17a cellist brother dressed,
28:18wearing a skullcap on his head,
28:20He is walking through the streets of Medina,
28:21Where will he stay?
28:22Of course, the Companions of Suffa will remain.
28:24I thought there was supposed to be a school for becoming a scholar, right?
28:28The Companions of Suffa will remain and
28:29because he stayed among the Companions of Suffa and in the way of Allah
28:32because he paid such a price
28:34From our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him
28:36the one who narrated the most hadiths,
28:38You know the name Muksirun, which is given to 7 people?
28:41That will fall under the name Muksirun.
28:43and the one who narrated the most hadiths
28:45My siblings will be the 5th person.
28:48He narrated 1660 hadiths.
28:50From our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
28:52My dear brothers and sisters,
28:54Aunt Meymune,
28:55Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
28:578th wife,
29:00One day, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
29:02He came to him and said,
29:03Abdullah ibn Abbas,
29:04O Messenger of Allah, he said,
29:05I said,
29:06"Sometimes I come to see you," he said.
29:07"Can I stay with you?" she asked.
29:09How much we would love to have that, wouldn't we?
29:11To stay with our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
29:14You know, the kind with bunk beds, one on top of the other...
29:16Perhaps we would have shown some manners,
29:18O Messenger of Allah, you sleep on the top bunk.
29:19We used to say something like, "I'll sleep on the bottom bunk," right?
29:22We always have dreams like that, don't we?
29:24If we have only one bed in our house,
29:26To our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
29:27O Messenger of Allah, you sleep in this bed.
29:29I'll sleep on this rug too,
29:31You know how we have dreams like that?
29:33you know, sometimes at our dinner tables,
29:34Maybe he'll knock on the door for dinner,
29:37Because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) will come.
29:39In a house with four people,
29:41instead of four forks,
29:43We put five forks, right?
29:45He said it willingly, that's what he meant.
29:48"I asked if it would be okay if I came and slept next to you occasionally," he said.
29:51Allahu Akbar.
29:52And he said,
29:54Abdullah said,
29:55"I have eight wives," he said.
29:58And he said he was staying with each of them for a day.
30:00"The days when it's your aunt's turn," he said.
30:03He said the eighth day,
30:05"Come," he said, "stay with me."
30:07And he says,
30:08"I've been waiting for that day for so long," he says.
30:11And that day came, he says,
30:12"I went to my aunt's monkey house," she says.
30:14My aunt says,
30:15He says he took out three covers,
30:16He says we're going to bed tonight.
30:17And they put me to sleep, he says.
30:19But he says he didn't sleep.
30:20Then she says, the cover...
30:21"I'm covered with a blanket," he says.
30:22Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
30:24She thought I was asleep.
30:26Then she was going to change her clothes.
30:29She also took a tablecloth that my aunt Meymune had given her.
30:32He placed it on top,
30:33"He'll change his clothes later," my siblings said.
30:35That's right, then our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
30:37He got up for the Tahajjud prayer at night.
30:39And he started reciting verse 190 of Surah Al-Imran, he said.
30:43In that verse, Allah Almighty says:
30:47Because night and day follow each other,
30:50There are great lessons for those with understanding.
30:53I was moved by this verse.
30:55Then I immediately got out of bed,
30:57I performed ablution.
30:58I stood behind our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
31:00Then, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me standing behind him,
31:04He pulled me towards him,
31:06I took a step back,
31:08Then he pulled me closer to him again,
31:10"I'm back again," he said.
31:11Then Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam,
31:14Then he greeted me and said,
31:17Abdullah,
31:18Even though I pulled you closer to me,
31:20Why did you go backwards? he asked.
31:22And I said,
31:23O Messenger of Allah,
31:24How could I possibly disrespect you?
31:25You are a man who received revelation, sent as a mercy to all creation.
31:29How can I stand before you?
31:31How can I stand next to you?
31:32"I have shown respect, O Messenger of Allah," he said.
31:34And on that day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
31:36Because of his politeness, he said:
31:38Oh God, he said,
31:39My brothers said, "Teach Abdullah the science of interpretation and the knowledge of jurisprudence in religious matters."
31:45Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
31:47"Come," said Abdullah.
31:48They were lying down together, and Abdullah ibn Abbas said,
31:52The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed my cheek against his own cheek.
31:57And he just fell asleep, he said.
31:59Allahu Akbar.
32:00Berat,
32:01Just imagine, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) touching your cheek.
32:03She touches her own cheek.
32:06Let's not even talk about touching her cheek,
32:07Wouldn't it be enough if we just held hands like this?
32:09If only we could hold hands like this,
32:12If only we could tell each other our troubles,
32:13Beautiful, beautiful,
32:14O Messenger of Allah, these things happened,
32:15These things happened,
32:15What should I do?
32:16Unsolvable,
32:19we couldn't find a solution,
32:20If only we could describe our helplessness, wouldn't that be great?
32:23How much we need it, my brothers and sisters.
32:25Honestly, we need him very much, my brothers.
32:29And I say,
32:31after I rested my cheek against his
32:33so as not to disturb him/her,
32:35"I took shallow breaths so as not to hurt him," he says.
32:38I didn't want to bother him, you know.
32:41So, if I was going to take 10 breaths, I started taking 5, he says.
32:45"I held my breath," he says.
32:46Just so that he doesn't get hurt.
32:48Allahu Akbar.
32:48There are some very valuable lessons to be learned from what we've discussed, aren't there, my brothers and sisters?
32:52What is our first lesson?
32:54Our master Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him),
32:57She went to her aunt Meymune's house,
32:59He was going to stay there, wasn't he?
33:00This house wasn't a 150 square meter house.
33:02It wasn't a 4+1 house,
33:04It wasn't a villa,
33:05It wasn't a castle.
33:06Honestly, these were 25 square meter houses.
33:09And such great men emerged from these small houses,
33:13but these 4 plus 1 big houses of ours
33:16It seems like only the little men are emerging now, doesn't it?
33:19So the issue is,
33:20It's not about the house, my brothers.
33:23It's not a matter of size.
33:24It's a matter of giving your heart,
33:26It's a matter of the heart.
33:28Allahu Akbar.
33:29May God make us like them,
33:31as if they were big men in small houses,
33:34To become much, much bigger men in our big houses,
33:37so that you may join the ranks of the striving Muslims,
33:40Let's pray.
33:40What is the second lesson we can learn?
33:42Look, my dear brothers and sisters.
33:44What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do?
33:46She put the sheet over herself before it was even removed from her own body, and
33:50that top,
33:51She took the blanket off while it was still on her, right?
33:54So what did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do here?
33:57Abdullah ibn Abbas was already asleep.
33:59He wouldn't have seen it anyway.
34:01Even so, she still gave a privacy education lesson, didn't she?
34:05Even though she dressed her child in her bikini today,
34:08taking children to open beaches and taking them on a holiday by the sea
34:12May the ears of Muslim mothers and fathers ring, my brothers and sisters.
34:16I apologize for saying this at home.
34:18May the ears of fathers who walk around in their underwear in front of their daughters ring, my brothers.
34:24Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a child,
34:26She taught a 10-year-old child about privacy.
34:29Do we teach, for example, privacy education?
34:33Do we teach our children, for example, to knock before entering each other's rooms?
34:38We tell our children that they shouldn't knock before entering their parents' bedroom,
34:43For example, do we take precautions like, "Don't enter without clicking, my dear"?
34:48For example, do we lock the bedroom door, my brothers and sisters?
34:52Because there's a possibility the child might get in there.
34:55Here, my brothers and sisters, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also gives this kind of education on privacy.
35:00But unfortunately, today, the privacy education she provided...
35:05Unfortunately, although wearing a headscarf is obligatory in the religion he brought,
35:10It's been turned into a style by Muslim women, hasn't it?
35:13Allahu Akbar!
35:14So the woman is dressed in such a way that...
35:17If that woman were completely naked, Professor Lokman would give her 5 points in the eyes of the men,
35:22When women adopt the hijab as a style and wear it, they earn 10 points in the eyes of men, my sisters.
35:29Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says:
35:31He said that a time will come near the end of time when clothed naked people will appear.
35:37Allahu Akbar!
35:38And they will not smell the scent of paradise, he said.
35:42Allahu Akbar!
35:43Yet, paradise is so close to people, he said.
35:47Imam Nabawi (may Allah have mercy on him) included this hadith in his book Riyadh al-Sahil.
35:50And he said,
35:51"Honestly, I don't know what 'clothed naked' means," he said.
35:54I know what it means to be dressed.
35:56I know what nakedness is.
35:57But he said,
35:58I don't know what "clothed naked" means.
36:00But he said,
36:00My not knowing,
36:02This hadith of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) doesn't make sense to me.
36:06This doesn't mean the hadith is fabricated.
36:09"I'm including this in my book," he said.
36:11Perhaps in the future, the Muslim community will understand this hadith, he said.
36:14Indeed, 100 years ago, the Muslim community established centers where this particular hadith was analyzed by scholars of hadith solely for the purpose of understanding it.
36:23if,
36:24Muslim girls whose names are currently Fatma Ayşe wear the hijab not as a style,
36:30My brothers would see it not as a means of attraction, but perhaps as an obligation.
36:33But you see it now, don't you?
36:35We all understand this hadith so well.
36:38There are clothed naked people around, aren't there?
36:39Allahu Akbar.
36:41The woman has turned the headscarf into an object of attraction, and unfortunately, she's come to do it so that men will look at her more.
36:49But what does hijab mean, my brothers and sisters?
36:51Wearing a headscarf means saying to the opposite sex, "My opposite sex, judge me not by my femininity, but by my personality."
37:00But the hijab, which has become attractive and stylish, is also a way of saying to the person you're interacting with, "Judge me not by my personality, but by my femininity," my sisters.
37:10In other words, it means look at me as a sexual object.
37:12Allahu Akbar.
37:13Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also provided training in this area of deprivation.
37:18What lesson can we learn from these three?
37:20Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) rose for Tahajjud prayer.
37:23And a child saw him getting up for the night prayer (Tahajjud).
37:25Today, my brothers, we have surpassed our fathers in terms of performing the Tahajjud prayer.
37:29Either we don't perform our regular prayers at the appointed times.
37:32If our children don't see their father performing his daily prayers at home, how can that child start praying?
37:39How can he start praying, right?
37:41So we've moved past things like Tahajjud prayers.
37:44We are grateful, I mean, that our children see us performing our regular prayers so that they too can develop a habit of praying, right?
37:51So what other lessons can we learn?
37:54Our fourth lesson is about a 10-year-old child, like Abdullah Ibn Abbas, who was moved by a verse from the Quran.
38:02He was influenced by verse 190 of Surah Ali Imran and got up.
38:06Therefore, my brothers and sisters have performed their prayers.
38:08Let me ask you.
38:10Which verse most recently moved you so much that you started crying at the beginning of your reading of the Quran, my brothers and sisters?
38:16God said, "Be just."
38:19Oh Lord, I couldn't be just.
38:21When did you cry, my brothers?
38:23God loves those who give charity, he said.
38:25When did you read this verse that made me say, "O Lord, I cannot reach for the money in my pocket"?
38:33Oh my God, I'm so stingy!
38:35"Oh Lord, I am so stingy," you cried, my brothers and sisters.
38:41God loves those who are pious, he said.
38:43You read a verse.
38:44When did you cry, O Lord? My eyes keep falling into sin, O God.
38:49"How can I come before You, O God, with these eyes?"
38:53When was the last time you cried, my brothers and sisters?
38:57"Believers are brothers," said God.
38:59When was the last time my brothers cried out, "Oh God, if I have acted as if I have betrayed the bonds of brotherhood, please forgive me and mend my ways"?
39:08When did you spend your time working?
39:10Isn't it?
39:11Isn't this another thing that Abdullah ibn Abbas teaches us?
39:14So, even if we're not getting it right now, let's try our best to get it right, my brothers and sisters.
39:19Even if we can't cry, let's try to cry, my dear brothers and sisters.
39:23Allahu Akbar! The most beautiful offering we can make to God is our tears.
39:28May God grant us hearts and eyes capable of weeping.
39:32Look, my brothers, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him to his side, O Abdullah.
39:37"Come," said Abdullah. "I will not come, O Messenger of Allah," he replied.
39:40Why did he say that?
39:41O Messenger of Allah, you are a prophet, how can I stand beside you?
39:44So Abdullah ibn Abbas is teaching a lesson in manners.
39:46He's learning manners towards his teacher, his elder brother, a scholar, isn't he?
39:52But unfortunately, that's not how it works for us, my brothers and sisters.
39:55So the man is just starting to pray.
39:57Professor Abu Bakr is starting to learn new things.
39:59So, the guy you brought from the bar to the disco three days ago,
40:03Three days later, he starts reading books and begins giving you religious rulings.
40:06How disrespectful is this?
40:08Isn't it?
40:10So, look, Abdullah ibn Abbas is also teaching us manners.
40:13I recently saw a friend sitting with a scholar.
40:18Brother Kaşfi has this much beard.
40:20They're opening a cigarette pack together with that friend.
40:23They open the cigarette pack in such a way that the smoke comes out like that?
40:26But he is a learned person, a knowledgeable person.
40:29Anyway, she seemed a little embarrassed when I arrived.
40:32After that, I left.
40:35Then the friend who was sitting there told the story.
40:37Professor Ibrahim says, "Ahmet abi, that scholar..."
40:42He said to me, "Brother, could you go to that grocery store and get me a pack of cigarettes?"
40:47I said, "I am not your servant," he said.
40:50"I am not your servant," he said.
40:52Allahu Akbar.
40:53Then the conversation progressed a little further, he says.
40:56Then he said to me, he says,
40:58He said, "Why do you call me 'brother' instead of 'teacher'?"
41:03"I don't see you as a teacher," he said.
41:07Why would he see you as a teacher?
41:10Even though you are such a learned man,
41:12Despite having such a long beard,
41:14sitting casually with your legs crossed with young people like that
41:17If you have a chat over tea and cigarettes,
41:19Will that young man respect you?
41:21Will that young man learn manners from you?
41:23If you try to ask that young man for a cigarette,
41:26Would that young man call you teacher?
41:27Of course, brother, he says.
41:29Isn't it?
41:30So, my brothers and sisters, what should we do in terms of etiquette?
41:33So, we need to be careful.
41:35Scholars should already be paying attention.
41:37We, as students, also need to pay more attention.
41:40And another lesson we will learn, my brothers and sisters,
41:43Look what our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did?
41:46He provided a compassionate education, didn't he?
41:48What did he do?
41:49She pressed her cheek against his.
41:51Allahu Akbar.
41:52But we don't really do that, do we?
41:54We do it by forcing the children.
41:55We do it by beating.
41:57We do it by beating them.
41:58And let me tell you something interesting.
42:01What if I said something like "Haydar"?
42:03What comes to mind?
42:04Many of you may remember going to Quran classes when you were little,
42:08the teacher told you when you couldn't get the months out,
42:11The name of the stick he will use to beat you, to hit your hand, comes to mind.
42:14Isn't it?
42:17So, when educating a child, it's like a prophet resting his cheek against the child's cheek.
42:22How do we become teachers who wield sticks, my brothers?
42:25How can we be the kind of people who teach religion by beating their children, mothers, and fathers?
42:29Isn't it?
42:31Therefore, Allah Almighty and Glorious, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
42:34May God grant us the ability and effectiveness to implement a compassionate education, which is a valuable educational method.
42:41Brothers, finally, there is something we can learn here from Abdullah ibn Abbas.
42:46This is also very important.
42:48Let me tell you this and hopefully finish.
42:50Look what Abdullah ibn Abbas said?
42:51Professor Dursun said,
42:53When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rested my cheek against his own cheek
42:56So that she won't be upset, so that she won't wake up, so that she won't be disturbed
43:00What did my brothers do?
43:02It reduced his breathing, didn't it?
43:04That's how much the companions loved our Prophet.
43:08My siblings couldn't bear to hurt her.
43:11Why?
43:11Because she was their best teacher.
43:14He showed them what sacrifice meant.
43:16He was the one who taught them their religion, wasn't he?
43:18That's how the Companions loved our Prophet.
43:22So, the Meccan polytheists took Hubayb and brought him to Mecca.
43:28He said that when Abu Sufyan led him to the gallows...
43:31When he said, "O Hubeyb, would you rather Muhammad be in your place on this gallows right now?" what did Hubeyb say?
43:38He said, "No, Muhammad," he said, "shouldn't be on this gallows like me."
43:42"I wouldn't allow even a single thorn to prick his feet in the streets of Mecca," he said.
43:47They loved our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with such tenderness.
43:52I mean, there are people who love our history too, right?
43:55The late Sultan Abdulhamid Han,
43:58Look at Medina when they were laying the tracks, when they built a train line from Istanbul,
44:03At the entrance to Medina, so that the blessed body of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not be disturbed.
44:10My brothers and sisters have laid felt on the train tracks.
44:13He sent orders to the craftsmen there while they were building the green dome.
44:17He said, "When you're hammering nails, put felt pads behind your hammers and chisels."
44:24He said, "So that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will not be disturbed."
44:28Allahu Akbar.
44:29We can avoid bothering him either.
44:31How can we avoid bothering him?
44:33Let's not disturb him by making the religion he brought unlivable.
44:39Let us not disturb him by remaining silent about the truths he has brought, my brothers.
44:44To make him happy, to be a follower of his religion,
44:47It is a struggle to make its cause known to people from heart to heart.
44:52May Allah grant each of us the opportunity and ability to be believers who follow His religion.
44:58May God grant our minds wisdom, our eyes insight, and our hearts love.
45:02Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
