00:34Anwar claims the remarks were false and defamatory.
00:38Tuan Ibrahim allegedly claimed that those who criticize ministers could soon find themselves being investigated by police.
00:46The Kobang Keryan MP also spoke of misappropriation, corruption and abuse of power,
00:53which Anwar's lawyers said could be understood as referring to the Prime Minister and his administration.
01:00The remarks were later reproduced through video recordings and social media platforms,
01:05as well as on Tuan Ibrahim's Facebook account.
01:07Anwar is seeking general, aggravated and exemplary damages as well as an injunction to stop further dissemination of the alleged
01:17defamatory statements.
01:19He is also seeking the removal of these statements from Tuan Ibrahim's social media accounts and other publications under his
01:26control.
