02:20There are 98,500 patients on the surgical waiting list, and among them there are more than 12,000
02:27children. There are 34,000 pregnant women to whom we have not been able to provide sufficient prenatal
02:32ultrasounds. There are 117,000 adults and 1,200 children who suffer from cancer and who today do not
02:40have the primary treatments they need, and we are having to turn to secondary or tertiary treatments.
02:46LISA DESJARDINS- In this way, President Díaz-Canel described the crucial role social movements play
02:51in this context.
02:53DÍAZ- We are the ones who will change the world, those who take to the squares,
02:58those who defend the territory, those who plant using agroecology, those who educate in the outskirts,
03:04those who weave networks of care, those who raise their voices against racism and patriarchy,
03:09and those who denounce the complicity of the mainstream media. And that is at the heart of the work you
03:14are carrying out as ABBA movements, as social movements.

03:20to continue working for an ever more just world is renewed.
